Hi Everyone,
Was wondering if you'd mind me joining the bus. I'm not just a lurker, I'm a long time lurker 😂 I've been lurking since we started TTC in May, but was scared to join and worried about well, everything really. I'm trying not to symptom spot, Google and read too much into anything, but I'll be honest and say I'm pretty shocking at it.

I was diagnosed with endo at 19 and told to think about children at that time - I definitely wasn't ready. I'm now 31 (started trying at 30) so hoping to get some luck at some point. I've been on pills, back to back for years to stop my breakthrough bleeds, chemical menopause and then the Mirena coil so I'm pretty sure my hormones are only just normalizing now... hopefully

Anyway, I'll stop my rambles! Hope everyone is doing ok! Bx

@Minster2012 aw thanks, defo makes sense! Weird about your pain eh! Are you going to test earlier than 14 days?

@BellsB1 hi and welcome! Hopefully your hormones are in check now and you get that wonderful bfp that everyone talks about! 🤩

Thanks @notyetamumbuttrying, I've had an LP of 7-9 days for the last few months, so if I make it to Sunday with no AF rearing her ugly head then that'll feel like a win to me!

@Minster2012 how many dpo were you with the pain? I had (what felt like) a stitch in my left last night, but it must have lasted about an hour, very strange.

Girls I've just gone through the whole 28 pages again to double check I got the testing dates and BFPs right and we're quite light I think! Only 4 BFPs in September (not much we can do about that lol) and these are the dates I've got jotted down for now - so holler if I'm missing anyone!

As for myself - 13DPO and no AF just yet. Tomorrow presumably.
Finished moving out last night at 9.30pm followed by a dirty Mcd's and then had to be back at the old flat before 8am this morning to let the new tenant in so I am EXHAUSTED.

Off to a loaf.com showroom after work to sit on sofas followed by birthday dinner for BIL so no rest for the wicked :)

Ps am so not keen on the CD1-CD10 boredom coming up.

Hey welcome @BellsB1 we love people joining in don't worry! so if you make it to Sunday a win so how many dpo will that be? Mine's a bit of a weird one, I had an IVF frozen transfer yesterday so (cos I've not googled at all, oh no) so that's like when it gets to your uterus for then hopefully implanting within 3 days?? So yeah it could be that, but it would still be v early. Stitch type pains can be promising 🤞🏻it sounds similar fingers crossed for us both xx

So ladies yesterday when I was sitting on my ass after transfer I got thinking mine & DH's wedding anniversary in dec. & Xmas ideas & stuff.

Then I started looking "what's the 5th year represented by"

So I started to think of lovely things like a carved chopping board with our names on & wedding date, as our chopping board is about to die

Started looking at lovely items on Etsy you know the kind of thing. Lovely. But not quite right.

Ooooo can you ladies remember way back when, back in JULY DH, the day after my birthday DH lost his wedding ring??

Well he's not been keen on replacing it, no other men in his family wear wedding rings. Well tough tits DH, if I get you an exact replacement for our wedding anniversary you have no choice but to accept it and wear it...

And then I thought I might get him a plank of wood to represent the wood of the anniversary to continually remind him of his actions again losing it gently remind him to never take it off again or I will spank him

@Minster2012 have you seen norsemen? There's a brilliant scene in season 2 where they strap a character to the stocks with a special vice on the balls for some ball smacking with a reed! That's all made out of wood so maybe you could get that?

@Juno231 heyyy, sorry I have been keeping up daily but haven't really had much to report... I must have been seeing things as any tests since have been stark white lol think I was wishing so much to see the second line I convinced myself it was there :( but hey ho back on the bus again, I've had AF visit for the past 3 days, well 4 days today but today its pretty much just the tail end of AF. So yeah FF has me down to ovulate on 14th this month so will test on Halloween. I've even got rid of any hpts. Still got opks but I think I'm mearly gonna do them a few days before to see what they are like but yeahhh, trying not to be so worked up about and just try and relax. 😬
I'm sorry to hear some of you are back here :( its such a difficult journey, and I hope @Minster2012 your relaxed!! Im so excited for your update! How many days until you can test??

@Minster2012 I will be 11dpo on Sunday, I think I'm being hopeful as I've never made it to double figures , people talk about the tww and mine has been a 1ww since my coil came out... if I get to Sunday I might test then, or on Monday.

I think you should go for the big one, then it can double as a plank of wood for the spanking 😂

@Juno231 whats your bbt chart looking like? 👀 I got a BFN at 10dpo then didn't test again till 16dpo, by which my bbt had dipped and gone back up.... praying you have the same!

@notyetamumbuttrying I spent A LOT of time yesterday looking at them thinking "hmm if I were to buy one what would be funnier, buying a big one & being complimentary or a smaller one & saying it's not to scale" before saying don't be ridiculous of course I'm not going to buy one...or am I???
We have a pink leather slamming paddle DH actually bought us quite early on in relationship 😂

@DKDK123 hope you're ok xx you might not read this now but have you spoken to the GP or you local EPU about being referred to the recurrent miscarriage unit? They refer you after 3 times in a row. CPs count. I'm being referred, once I get a negative test.

@Florence13 I know what you mean about social media - literally every day someone else has either popped one out or announced a pregnancy - I'm happy for them obviously but also raging.

@Sausage1990 I am so sorry to see you back here, I think we got our BFPs similar time 😞 it is an absolutely devastating experience. I'm still waiting for my negative test, I had my 8w scan 4 weeks ago. That week of waiting is the worst, I had to do it as well, for the next scan just to confirm the bad news, and a tiny part of you hopes maybe they got it wrong at the first scan and everything will be fine. Miracles do happen! I felt a lot of relief actually after the second scan and getting treatment (pills) and knowing that things were actually moving forward and I could begin to recover. So my advice would be just take things one step at a time, focus on looking after yourself this week xx

Ooo @Juno231 btw I'm jealous of your mac Donald's haven't had one in soooo long and some sofa shopping that seems so lovely and normal now!! Glad you got everything sorted and can move now! Onwards & upwards ❤️

So according to flo I ovulate on Saturday and I'd say that's pretty accurate with my ewcm I've had too, but just done an opk with a long hold and not drank much at all today and it was low, so getting confused now, hoping it's just too late to catch it, so I'll test again tomorrow!

@Juno231 correct test date for me there 👍🏼 although I know I'll end up testing this weekend as per usual before having a drink. I feel too guilty to have drinks without checking nothing is going on first but it's always a bad move as it's too early to test 😑 wouldn't enjoy weekend drinks without knowing though!

@Amy00 I'm sorry you're back here too & had to go through this, but thank you for your kind words of advice. This week feels like limbo land but it's also giving me time to come to terms with things and to say goodbye to baby. There'll obviously be alot if sadness still but I know it's part of the healing process.

Was there anything in particular that you found helpful during your medical management or after? Xx

@Vil10 I think the holiday and being relaxed has brought forward Ovulation 🤭 You had a high OPK the other day right? Just an app with cycle day lengths were totally inaccurate predicting mine but OPKs were spot on. I know you have it all covered anyhow, but definitely carry on incase that OPK was a false positive

@Vil10 you think you ovulate on this coming Saturday? Would an OPK be high yet? I'd go by the ewcm rather than anything else, bonkathon will have you covered a lot surely! And BONKFEST continues? I thought it was on this weekend too? Yorkshire would make a nice change to the lakes definitely! We go to the lakes for a change 😂

@Minster2012 haha love that!! Let's hope so soon! Hubby booked his SA today so the ball is finally rolling 🤞🏼 also, I completely missed that you live in Yorkshire! We were there for the first time over summer and I'm actually in love with the place. I'm desperate to move there now but it's a bit far away from family etc. The rolling hills and beautiful stone walls, the literary history, the scenery OMG I have so much Yorkshire envy right now!

@blodyn91 I did think that could've been a possibility but I'm not sure! I'll keep testing just in case! Premom still tested it as low but it was quite a high low, I think it was 0.50 anything past 1 is high, if I did ovulate early at least I know it's covered!x

@Minster2012 that's a good point, 2 cycles ago I was low on an opk then got my peak the next day!! I'll just keep testing and keep the bonkfest going for sure!! It's definitely on this weekend, OH is going to a friends tonight though so gonna make sure I have my sexy pyjamas on for when he gets gone, let the bonkathon continue🍆
