notyetamumbuttrying · 01/10/2020 10:24

@Vil10 yeah I need to try, I just get so fed up! Whoo hoo to the continuation of bonkfest 2020! The only good thing to come out of this year 😂

LBee2020 · 01/10/2020 11:17

@ Minster CD14 but my last cycle was a bit strange and a few days longer than usual (I think due to pregnacare- since ditched) so I'm not sure if I'll be back to usual 28/29 day cycles or not.

It looks beautiful up there. I'd happily be in Yorkshire!!

Minster2012 · 01/10/2020 11:21

So do you think around ovulation then @LBee2020? Exciting! There could be a few of us testing same time!! Like next weekend?!!! Oooooooo we could be in for another super weekend ❤️🥰

Come up here for a party!! Oh wait. F ing ☠️🦠

Vil10 · 01/10/2020 11:26

@NestinginNL welcome!! So glad you've decided to join!! Please may I ask what your symptoms were of pcos and endo? Hope everything goes well for you and fingers crossed that that results were false!x

@notyetamumbuttrying it's just such a draining journey isn't it!! Especially when everyone around you gets pregnant so easily!! Hahahaha it really is the only good thing about this year!

@Minster2012 looks gorg! I love Yorkshire!! Currently looking for a pet friendly weekend away there as we speak!

Minster2012 · 01/10/2020 11:47

@Vil10 how far do you want to go? Pickering is beautiful, Staithes and there's a lot of pet friendly cottages around. We are East Yorkshire, beverley way which is also stunning & a lovely town to explore there's lots to see x

Florence13 · 01/10/2020 11:57

@Minster2012 it looks lovely!! Not jealous at all.

@Vil10 it really is a draining journey and everytime I go into social media someone else we know is announcing they are pregnant. But at least we have each other. Literally cannot tell you how much I’m rooting for us all, hopefully by the end of the year we will all have done enough bonking to have BFPs.

Sausage1990 · 01/10/2020 12:09

Hi guys it's me again... Some of you will probably know me and other not. I've been on the summer grads bus after my BFP in August but unfortunately at my dating scan on Monday we had some bad news. Baby stopped growing at 9 weeks and there was no heartbeat 💔 I've been diagnosed with a silent miscarriage (or missed miscarriage) & I'm currently awaiting a 2nd scan next Monday (5th of October - my 1st wedding anniversary) and then ongoing treatment to help baby come away.
I am sorry to being sad news to the group, I know the news has been scary for some of the ladies on the grad bus who aren't at the 12 week scan stage yet so I don't want to keep chatting to them too as i don't want to add extra anxiety & taint their beautiful journeys. I have also seen on here (I've been keeping up quietly in the background as best I can) that some of you ladies have experienced MMC & the treatment after so hopefully we can help each other.

I definitely don't want to scare anyone or make anyone more anxious because of my experience and if so please say and I'll find a more suitable outlet. I just feel like I need some support during this time & you ladies have always been a huge support. We're absolutely devistated & heartbroken 💔😢

NestinginNL · 01/10/2020 12:14

Thanks for the welcomes Smile

@Vil10 PCOS I don't have many symptoms of, I was diagnosed at 25 just when my gyno saw my ovaries on an ultrasound. I've been rediagnosed multiple times since (I've moved around a lot and every new doctor loves telling me what I already know). I have 20+ follicles on each ovary, ovaries slightly enlarged, and my cycles are regular 2 out of three times and then there's often a wacky long one (35-55 days). I'm a v healthy weight range and have a very healthy diet so not sure if that's what stops it being more typically PCOS? Oh, and I get an excellent dark neck beard and some chest hair, and have a large dark snail trail, despite being blonde Grin so there's that symptom too. Extra fluffy.

Endo I just had shit tonnes of pain and bled a little bit non stop for months and months. Was pretty housebound this time last year from it. They didn't find much, just stage one, but it's so random with endo. Some have stage 4 and feel nothing, others like me have a few adhesions and a little endo and it's just the most painful thing. I really had to fight to get diagnosed. Finally went to an amazing private surgeon in London.

@Minster2012 crazy club is definitely where I belong Grin I think my OH and friends who have no interest in TTC are really tired of me talking about pep-talking sperm and my regular CM and OPK updates, so I need to get the crazy out somewhere else Halo

Yorkshire's definitely hogging all the good weather. It's pissing down here in the Netherlands too.

2020mission · 01/10/2020 12:20

@Sausage1990 I'm so sorry to hear that I remember you well as we got a BFP around the same time but mines quickly ended with CP. Life can be so cruel 😢

I am glad you decided to join us again though as we're all here for each other for support 💕 take care of yourself and no need to apologise for sharing your story.

Runnergirl1 · 01/10/2020 12:21

@Sausage1990 I am one of those returnees so sorry for your loss. I too had a missed miscarriage and it’s so hard. There is a group I’m on in here which has been very very supportive and everyone is in the same boat if you want to have a look. Take your time and look after yourself. It’s awful but it does get easier. Sending you lots of love x

Minster2012 · 01/10/2020 12:47

@NestinginNL oh my god totally didn't get that you are in the Netherlands til you pointed it out 😂🤣doh! Well it's still gorgeous here today so 😋I'm gonna take it as long as possible! It was freezing yesterday & no doubt it will be for a long time in winter so meh!! So intrigued about the fact you get a beard & so forth? I did not know this was a PCOS thing, god we learn so much about so many things on MN don't we! Love what you say about the doctors though, I get that all the time & im like "yes can we stop wasting time now & talk about something I DON'T know please??"

@Sausage1990 hey lovely. So so sorry to see you back here & having been through a MMC myself I know how heartbreaking it is & horrible waiting those days in between. There are a few of us who know the pain & as you know there are a lot of lovely ladies on here who were around us to support & make us smile when times were tough - sending you ALL the love and hugs and make sure you take time to grieve 🥰❤️

notyetamumbuttrying · 01/10/2020 12:50

@Vil10 yeah it's been the worst! The only good thing to happen this year is the birth of my 2nd nephew in Aug and our holiday in Aug. I liked aug only basically lol! Was also our wedding anniversary so it was a good month!
@Sausage1990 I remember you darlin and so sorry to hear this. You poor poor thing! 😢

2alreadywantanother · 01/10/2020 12:52

And I'm crying 😥
@sausage1990 ah babes. I feel ur pain. I got my bfp early Sept and got my bad news at 9+2 and baby was measuring 9+2. I had my d&c last fri. It's such a emotion time so please take the time you need before doing anything and be kind to yourself.
It will hit u of of nowhere like me no, sitting sobbing because I feel your pain 😭 it's so fecking cruel.
@dkdk123 u too, my hearts broke that we have to go through the pain of ttc. Look after yourself and we will more than likely be here waiting when you return ❤

Be kind to yourself ladies 💕

Sausage1990 · 01/10/2020 13:04

Thank you all so much @Minster2012 @notyetamumbuttrying @2alreadywantanother @2020mission @runnergirl1!

And yes it comes in waves @2alreadywantanother - I'm crying from the love & support I'm feeling and I'm so sad for you all who've been through it and are going through it. Its unimaginable.

Thank you @runnergirl1 for the thread share. I'll add it to my watch list until I'm ready to TTC again.

@2alreadywantanother I think I'm going to opt for medical management as surgery frightens me, I know i could still need surgery but I'd rather try meds 1st. I've seen alot about it being very very painful but I'm trying to not think about it too much.

Honestly guys I'm so glad I found you all in January 2020 because it certainly makes this journey easier to manage 💕

2alreadywantanother · 01/10/2020 13:09

@sausage1990 yeah a few told me the tablets can be horrendous. I was very lucky, done in 5 mins and no heavy bleeding. My friend had a d&c 3 wks b4 me and had an awful time. So everyone is different. Do what's best for you. That's all that matters xx will be thinking if u 💕

Florence13 · 01/10/2020 13:25

@Sausage1990 I’m so sorry to hear of your news sending lots of love and support your way.

Vil10 · 01/10/2020 13:35

@Minster2012 probably max 3 hours! I'll definitely have a look there tonight and be sure to ask you all the things to do and see round there!X

@Florence13 it's the same here, one of my best friends is pregnant and I'm so so happy for her but a tad jealous, I think it's pretty normal to feel like that though! This thread literally keeps me going!! We all deserve that BFP!!

@Sausage1990 I'm so so sorry to hear that you're gone through that!! I can't even imagine how you're feeling! I know there's a few on here who have been through the same so hopefully they can help you through it❤️

@NestinginNL it's interesting to hear all the symptoms people have or had! I was convinced and still am slightly that I have pcos, I went for blood tests for the progesterone and female sex hormones and they were all perfect but you know when you just have that gut feeling that something isn't right? But I suppose I'll only really know when it gets to the year mark of TTC and we can have further tests! I have to say I love your positivity!! Taking your diagnosis in your stride! Will this be baby no.1 for you?

@notyetamumbuttrying that does sound a good month!! There has been a little sunshine this year after all!

Minster2012 · 01/10/2020 14:08

@Vil10 3 hours could be a lot of places depending on where you are!! 😂 yes def have a look, or near Dalby forest (though that van busted from loads of places near here) don't forest West Yorkshire in lockdown hence why I suggest our way isn't

@Sausage1990 whatever you decide will be right for you xxx

So I just got some stabbing pains on my right hand side when lifting DS out of the car. Not great. Bent double, in front of MIL I said "ooooo ah see I need to be careful cos I pulled my back a bit the other day" weird pains don't know what to make of them.

LBee2020 · 01/10/2020 14:12

@sausage- welcome back. This is definitely the right outlet if you want it to be. If nothing else, @Minster will whack out a ridiculous quiz for us every now and again. Sorry for your loss.

Catherinettc · 01/10/2020 14:34

@Minster2012 too soon for implantation? Xx

notyetamumbuttrying · 01/10/2020 14:40

Yeah defo! @Vil10 I just need to remember all the good more often, I'm terrible for dwelling in my own misery lol! A hangover of depression I think. Doesn't take much for me to slip bk, I'm always battling daily to stay on the right side.

@Minster2012 eek I hope you're alright?! How long did they last?

Minster2012 · 01/10/2020 14:49

@Catherinettc I would have thought it's a day or 2 early for implantation but no idea really that's why I'm thinking bad sign 😬 they lasted about 2 mins?

@LBee2020 a ridiculous quiz?? Me??? 🤔don't know what you are on about??

Minster2012 · 01/10/2020 14:50

Oh sorry it was @notyetamumbuttrying that asked how long they lasted,
We try to keep you on the good side of misery, as in good side, does that make sense
