@Minster2012 the wine is albariño, It is not pricey but is fantastic, from my shire, denomination of origin, but that doesn't make me bias

@lucyrp im 6+3 according to my own dates. Had a wee ectopic scare at 5 weeks but they found a tiny sac in the uterus thankfully. Back on Wednesday to check everything is growing as it should. Also due to my medical conditions they are keeping a wee eye on me. Im huge though there's no hiding it 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣

@Franklydear honestly? I feel awful 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣 all day sickness is taking its toll. Wearing sickness bands every day. Boobs are killing me! Im more spotty than when I was a teenager 🤣🤣 im most definitely not glowing this pregnancy 🤣🤣 everyone else on the grad thread are looking great etc. Just my luck 🤦‍♀️ hope fully passes in a few weeks 🤞 xx

Awwww @Catherinettc that's so lovely to hear about @SmileyT with the scan & knowing the sex & everything is going well, after MC it makes us feel good it can happen. And soooo hoping your sickness passes & it gets easier for you, so awful when you have scares, sending lots of hugs! I often think there's loads of you guys watching & reading up on us! I like it! I often wonder about looking at the grad thread but then don't but please send everyone my love ❤️🥰🎉🎊

@Minster2012 basically yes! 🤣🤣 plus I live in Northern Ireland and most of my friends and family are in Glasgow so I dont see them often. Im going to announce it though as I don't want to take the risk of one of my friends here posting it on social media or something after bumping into me if that makes sense? Plus hubby is mega excited to tell everyone 🤣 xx

@Minster2012 god help you with me as a tww buddy 😂 I can already tell I'm going to be getting ahead of myself and symptom spotting like crazy. This is the first time in months that I think ive actually ovulated and even though we didn't know it was fertile week we have well covered the lead up to ovulation so I'm getting my hopes up already 🙈

Oh nooooo @Katao you are going to be terrible then 😳🙈as my DH is REALLY against testing early and our clinic are steadfastly "your test date is 2 weeks after transfer & we won't accept you calling to tell us you've done a test sooner". They give us a hpt as our test so it's not glamorous, a lot of clinics do blood tests ours don't. Last time we tested at 12 days but I want to test early. I will want to test on that Saturday or Sunday def, DH is shooting on that Saturday so that means I'm on my own with DS after he's there in the morning

@Minster2012 I'm an early tester too. Usually hold out to 11dpo but would ideally like to wait a little longer and not be squinting at tests. I make zero promises though 😂 I'm just excited that there is actually a chance this time. You must feel a lot of pressure testing with ivf, it's such an investment....financial and emotional. What are the chances? Is it better than the 20% or what ever it is with natural ttc? I'd hope already having an embryo and good lining and prep etc that you get good odds

We've come to OHs friends house the one who's just had a baby and who had one the same time me and OH fell pregnant before☹️ I just want a baby ☹️

@SarahTTC2020 @KateColx big congrats ladies 🥳 Oreo choc for the win, I have 17 sharer bars of the Oreo mint choc here as I decided I needed it one night and it was the smallest quantity OH found online if anyone wants some.

I have been sitting in the background reading through but just didn't want to keep piping up randomly, I got very nervous the other night when bus 16 got to 1k and there was no link but easy to find you crazy lot with the name - I do love the grads thread but it's more chat of sickness and sore boobs on a Friday night than wine and cum on tit action 🤪

So I'm 16weeks on Monday and having a little boy 💙 and after 4 private scans around the NHS one I'm starting to believe I may actually be having a baby next year 🤯

Oh god yeah @Catherinettc could be twins!! Oooo def let us know from weds!! Do you have any DC already?

@KateColx twins as first DC would be AMAZING!! With a DS as a handful already, and two active dogs, not so 😂

@Katao we are gonna have to try to be good!! So when do you think your ovulation was?? When do you think 11dpo is? 🤔 chances wise for my age now the IVF is c30%, this is now 2nd time private for us doing a frozen transfer so 2 lots of frozen transfers so upto now including the transfer of it goes ahead on weds the 2 lots will have cost us £3900 and that's excluding the embryo creation (we got one lot of that NHS as it's due to my chemo so paid for another of £1000) but as we now have a child from IVF we pay storage costs of £700 per year as we have 2 embryos but from 2 different rounds of collection so they can't be kept together so it falls under 2 lots of £350 per year.

Oh and about £30,000 for our surrogacy including the IVF transfer & meds to my best friend as only the embryo creation was covered for me as the NHS doesn't support surrogacy.
We have the most expensive DS ever 😂😳

I've just asked to see if we can qualify to get a refund on the "transfer to me" part of the IVF under NHS as in theory a woman in my position medical wise is entitled (same as any other woman with no children previously) to one "full IVF" attempt and I (as we paid for the transfer to my best friend) have only had half (does that make sense?) but under NHS rules if you have a child you don't qualify for funding and we now have a child. But we paid for the other bit when we didn't have a child because we had to & that was still all under my friend, the notes are still hers at the clinic, not linked to me. So surely that's only fair?

Sorry went off on one there & I don't expect ppl who aren't doing IVF to understand but we don't have an unlimited pot of money 😔at all. It's a big strain.
