@bxiiboo I’m thinking you may have ovulated later? Test in a few days if AF hasn’t arrived?

@MrsK21- if you’ve previously had a negative then it looks good. Was your negative using the same FRER test? If so then definitely looking good!

@re6ecca how many days DPO?

re6ecca · 13/10/2020 17:16

@RichmondLady1981 4dpo according to one app and 6dpo according to another lol

MinnieMouse4 · 13/10/2020 17:19

I spoke to my gp this morning. She was lovely. She thinks that I am experiencing implantation bleeding or possibly that my hormones aren’t quite strong enough at this stage so there is a little bleed. I must say that is not fresh blood it’s just dark brown when I wipe. I’ve been asked to test again in 7 days (but will probably test this weekend!) and if it is still positive then she will send me for a scan. I took these 2 home bargains tests yesterday which were a pretty strong result so fingers crossed xx

@VP91x Scan went amazing, I'm measuring 12 weeks 2 days so due the 25th of April. We have told our girls and all our family. Everyone was so happy for us. There's been a few tears today. Hope I can start to enjoy it now xx

Bellabubble · 13/10/2020 19:01

@VP91x fingers crossed the clomid does the job soon. I know my friend said it took a couple of months to work for her - but once it did she ovulated regularly and conceived without any extra help :) I’m feeling ok thank you - remaining overal pretty positive, making sure I keep busy so I don’t fixate on symptoms/worry if they aren’t there/less intense etc - although I do still inspect the loo roll each time to chrck for spotting! Not sure if I’ll get out of that habit. I feel weirdly more upbeat about this one though - last pregnancy, right from the beginning I had a feeling it wouldn’t be plain sailing. My husband said I kept saying if this and if that, but I don’t feel so ominous about this one, even though I have had a mc before! I saw you are off to Lapland UK - how exciting! I bet Bella is going to be beside herself with excitement!! xx

@jazper I’m doing ok thank you - not too many symptoms, although I’m trying not to symptom spot..and I’m staying away from google so that I don’t overthink things! Luckily work is busy so my brain is very occupied lol! How are you? X

VP91x · 13/10/2020 19:21

@Lollol86 YAY! I am so happy for you, I am glad all is well with baby. How did your girls take it? I bet they are SO excited to be big sisters. So pleased for you. You definitely deserve to enjoy this!!

Yes, lapland is pretty expensive! We are going on Nov 17th so it was like £85 per person? Still pricey. I spoke to my GP this afternoon and actually she was lovely and really surprised that the gynae didn't even put me on metformin. She is waiting for the write up to come through and then she is going to do a "peer review" she said as she is of the opinion I should get the metformin to start and she can then prescribe it. So at least it is getting somewhere..

@northerngal20 congratulations! x

@bxiiboo hey, lovely to hear from you. Lots of us have been on and off on the thread for similar reasons!
Have you seen GP about spotting a few days before your period?xx

@Jazper thank you for your lovely reply hun, I'm glad you have your scan booked in. I can just imagine how anxious you are but just keep thinking your body is working in your favour and everything has more of a chance of working out than not, so I am sure everything is ok with baby in there! Yeah, I can't believe how shitty the gynae was but hopefully moving in the right direction soon..xx

@Northernsoul90 oh god, that's shit?! Did you say about the positive? I would see if you could call back to get something sooner! If you can go private then you would probably get appts much quicker.

@MRJ86 congratulations, definitely sounds like a new pregnancy which is brilliant news!xx

@Bellabubble I'm hoping this next dose will do the trick again, these anovulatory months are so so draining! I had a little update from my GP this morning which you can see above so at least this is positive in some respects. I know it is hard but try not to torture yourself with how strong symptoms might be one day to the next, as with all these things it can fluctuate and vary for SO many reasons. Have you booked any scans?

Yes! So excited to take her, yeah she is talking about father christmas already so, I can't wait to see her little face.

xx

Hope everyone else is OK - I will do a new thread shortly before this one runs out!

@VP91x so glad your doctor is taking it seriously. At least she can prescribe something for you. I still can't believe they treated you like that.
What activities do you have planned at Lapland? Is it 1 standard cost covers all?
The girls were so excited. I got them T-shirts' printed that said they were going to be big sisters. I can share a picture if you are happy to see it, I just don't want to put it in everyone's face on this page xx

VP91x · 13/10/2020 20:09

@Lollol86 yes I'd love to see! PM me it if you prefer? Thats so lovely Xx

I know, I even realised when the GP asked me the Drs name that he didn't even introduce himself. What a dick. I'm glad something is happening at least, hopefully the metformin helps sooner rather than later. Yeah the price covers all the activities. They do a bunch of things as well as the santa visit xx

@VP91x I've found how I sent a private message but can't find how I send to you and attach a picture. Any idea?
What an absolute joke of a doctor, he clearly wasn't actually interested 😡
You are going to have the best time, we went to a garden centre on Saturday to look at the decorations, spent £110 on new baubles. Was not my intention at all 🤦🏼‍♀️ however it was so magical, they set up little scenes and were playing Christmas music xx

VP91x · 13/10/2020 20:44

@Lollol86 let me send you a msg and see if it lets you attach anything back. I'm not sure!

Omg, haha. Yeah it is SO easy to buy loads of xmas stuff. I'm putting the tree up on Nov 1st I need Christmas sparkle in my life so I need to do a decoration haul too! Xx

Hi All. Firstly, congrats to all those with their BFP. Trying for number 3. I have a 14yr old and 2yr old. Took us 8yrs to finally conceive number 2. Have had 2 Miscarriages in 2014 and 2019. 12DPO today and BFN. Been cramping for a week now. With my 2nd Child I had severe cramps every night between wk4 and wk8 as I also have fibroids. Just joining this group be with people in similar situations.

elsimo · 25/11/2020 22:21

Hi there everyone,

New to this forum and looking for some hope.
So I had a mc in 2016 and fell pregnant quickly after and had my little girl in 2017.
We have been trying for a second for over a year and finally fell pregnant with twins which stopped growing at 6 weeks which we found out at 8 weeks. I had surgical managment yesterday.
We have had all the fertility tests and there was no issue with me or my partner.
The only thing thats keeping me going is the thought of trying again and hoping that I am super fertile following this and it doesn’t take me another year to conceive!!
Any positive stories/tips?

MSG92 · 25/11/2020 23:05

Hi @elsimo i think your on the old thread, there is one called November I believe

CLSM · 04/12/2020 12:07

So I’ve had a D&C after missed miscarriage at 6 weeks. I had my first period 4 weeks ago and now due again in 5 days. I’m starting to get light cramp and had heartburn this morning. I really feel like my period is coming. I’m feeling so anxious I just want another BFP!

MSG92 · 04/12/2020 12:25

@CLSM this is an old thread (see my above message to @elsimo)

CLSM · 04/12/2020 13:04

@MSG92 how do I get to this November thread?

Zarawaqar786 · 22/12/2020 12:18

Hi all

Wondering if anyone can help I’ve been ttc for 5 months and 9dpo had two positive hcg tests. Today I am 10dpo and both negative Sad can someone shed some light? Is it possible for this to happen and still be pregnant? Xx
