@LT103 I know how you feel. I've definitely not been as fully focused the last 2 months and @stabal I didn't stock my tablets up and haven't taken any this month!! Sometimes you just feel exhausted with it all and need a mental break so you can live your life not dictated by it all. I have joined the gym and been sticking to my promise of healthy eating since back from holiday so I'm putting my energy into this at the moment and hope that with this it will help with TTC anyway. It is a year this week since we started TTC properly so I'm fully aware we should be looking at getting tests done soon but I cant even bring myself to look into it at the moment, especially until I've lost a bit of weight as I know that the doctors will comment on this first anyway. My BMI is 36.

@CAG14 that will unfortunately be the first thing they mention. No one would give me any help until I reached a certain point. Just continuously got fobbed off that there was nothing they could do 🙄

@stabal would they even refuse to do tests? I thought that this would be the case. What BMI do you have to be before they even offer fertility tests to see if there is a problem?

@CAG14 yep they would only offer me a hormonal profile. No cycle day tests or anything! I'm not sure what the protocol is but when I reached 16 stone (I know, I know still considered obese!) the GP said that would be enough to use clomid if I needed it so began the tests and referral. But my weight loss brought ovulation back on its own so thankfully didn't need it

@stabal no judgement here lovely! I am 16 stone now but BMI 36. I think I need to get down to 12 stone to be under 30 BMI. My aim is 2 stone before Xmas so that by new year I have a good chance of tests etc but I had no idea what their protocol was on blood tests etc. I think my OH will have his sperm sample test before then so at least we know his fertility results.

@GNKx sorry to hear that af arrived ☹️ 50 days is a long cycle, are yours usually quite long? Are you tracking temps/using opks this month? I’ve lost track on who’s doing what at the moment!

In my tww now! 5dpo and going to test on Friday which will be 11dpo, mainly to check if I can have a few glasses of champagne or not as it’s our wedding day! 😬

@crazycatlady1981 we're the same dpo...I might test at the weekend too, would you trust a negative test at 11dpo though?

@butterfly5291 if I were you I'd leave testing to as late as possible to avoid any uncertainty 🤞 you don't want to be stressing yourself out so close to your wedding if it's negative at 11 DPO

@butterfly5291 I usually get spotting & mild cramps the week before af, so if I don’t get spotting this week, but I get a bfn on Friday morning, I’ll think I’ll be more cautious about what I drink! We’re not having much of a party anyway, it’s only us and our two friends as we can’t have more than 2 people at our wedding ceremony due to the room size ☹️ so we haven’t told anyone about it! So we’re just having a bit of lunch, cake and bubbly!🥂

Been getting cramps all night and started spotting. 10dpo tomorrow so I reckon af is coming 😢. I wasn’t really holding out much hope this month so hopefully it’s here quick and can move on to next month

The idea of a huge wedding with me being the centre of attention isn’t me so To me your wedding sounds absolutely perfect!!!
Hopefully this is all over soon and you can have a big party to celebrate!!!!

@LT103 ah thank you! 😊 I’m really excited about it anyway and just thankful it can go ahead ( we were booked in for our registry office bit in May originally!) so I’m just happy that we will finally be married!!

Sorry to hear that you’re spotting! 🙁 I’m the same, as soon as I get the dreaded spotting, I know it’s all over for me that month and just want af to hurry up! It does probably save me a fortune in pregnancy tests though as there’s really never any point in testing once spotting starts!

@LT103 sorry to hear spotting has started. Like you said though this was a funny month so hopefully be able to start fresh month soon.

FF changed my ovulation date so still only 6dpo. I'm dreading the thought of bleeding really heavily on the wedding day. Anyone got suggestions of nice bridal underwear that will be big enough to handle sanitary items? Think I'll be doubling up with tampon and pad!

Hope you are all good. Sorry I've been so quiet on here, my brother ended up in hospital with Covid but is doing much better now and on the mend thankfully.

@stepmumSW5 omg your scan photo and reading up you hearing the fluttering heartbeat is giving me all the feels 💕 how magical. So sorry to hear about the sc custody situation though, hopefully it all sorts itself out soon.

@Stabal yay!! You ovulated 🥳 what a strange month it was for a few of us but good you don't need to resort to provera now.

@butterfly5291 aw what a pain. Hopefully af doesn't show on wedding day. I assume you are normally really heavy then? Sorry I can't help on that one as I'm the opposite and have the lightest flow ever which usually only lasts a day and half (still swear it must be related to troubles of TTC). What about maybe checking Debenham or John lewis, they usually have pretty but semi practical underwear ranges I find.

I'm feeling utterly exhausted with work (covid has hit the building) and I think just in general as it comes up to the year anniversary of my dad. Could really use another lockdown to be honest lol

@stabal sounds like you’re having a tough time. Take care and hope things start to improve. I’m in Scotland and rumours are we’re getting another lockdown announced in next couple of days 🙈

@LT103 I'm in Northern Ireland and we're in the same boat. Rumours in the school I work in are that by the weekend they'll introduce the circuit break! I just want a little week off really 😂

I heard back on getting HSG done privately btw. Just under £500 and they need a referral letter from nhs fertility clinic. I will call my fertility consultant tomorrow and see what he says about it all. Wouldnt mind going for it if nhs can then just accept result from it and still progress with them for ivf referral. But I can't help but think its not worth it if it puts me back to the start with nhs when we are literally 3 months away from the 2 year mark for ivf referral (although if scan takes 6 months I imagine they need it done before any referral) Feeling a bit confused.......
