@27DONFIN everything so far was fine. I had high prolactin levels but we got it under control then I was waiting for AF to arrive to go for an HSG test but she never arrived because I was pregnant lol. We were trying for 2 years then as soon as we were getting help I managed to fall!

@Stabal OMG that’s brilliant news congratulations. Sorry Iv missed this in the thread. Hope you and baby are keeping well

@27DONFIN oh this was in March, I miscarried in May. Unfortunately haven't managed to fall again yet. Hoping it won't be another 2 years!

@Stabal ohh I’m so sorry. I know from my own experience that it’s not a great time but the hope for a baby keeps you going.

@stabal i just add 2 teaspoons in my smoothie every other day ..i had 40 day cycle and its helped reduce it to 30ish now. I was reading some older posts on mumsnet about it and ppl seem to have sucess although as its not scientifically proven to work it couldbe just a fluke too right

@Stabal oh I just love black cats! They are my favourite! I’ve got one black, one tabby and one sort of tabby/calico mixture!
@27DONFIN yeah my OH asked me if I could take the forms and his ID into the surgery for him! 🙄 Lol! I said I think he probably needs to go along with his ID, but I would drive him there as soon as he’s got everything filled in!! 😂 bless them! They can’t really function without us!!
Pets are a good distraction! I’ve also had a garden full of hedgehogs to keep me entertained this year! They are so delightful to watch! 💕

@crazycatlady1981 calico/torties are my favourite! We have a light ginger tabby and a tortie. The tortie is such a diva, absolutely love her 😂

@BigLucy I think you mean @Iloveoreos. It's maca root but I wouldn't recommend taking it without getting a hormonal profile done at your GP to make sure it won't make your cycles worse

Hi everyone can I join in? My husband and I are both 33. We have been trying since May this year. I've never been on the pill. AF due tomo, and I'm a BFN for this month.

On another note, my sister in law, who's almost like a close friend announced she's pregnant (we weren't even trying / it was a surprise), and I felt stupidly petty about being jealous. To be fair, she didn't know we were trying or anything .. but I don't like how petty I became :(

Hopefully I'll be better soon and send her a hamper or something ..

@nervousnoob same situation here. OH's brother's girlfriend announced to us she was pregnant and that it was a little "surprise accident". I was so upset. I know she didn't mean to upset me but they know our story and I think she could have approached it a little better. I hate how it makes me feel hearing an announcement!

@biglucy yesdo your research about maca root. Especially if u have underactive thyroid and already on thyroxin then be cautious . Thats why I only take every other day and a very small amount.

@nervousnoob don’t worry you aren’t the only one. Recently a few of my OH close friends have announced they’re expecting each time luckily by text Iv left my OH and went into another room and had a cry. It’s a natural reaction after a while especially when people say it was an accident and your trying and it’s not happening. If anything from the whole ttc process I have seen how flippant others can be on getting pregnant

Well, when the time comes for me, I'll be very mindful of others when I inform them.

My husband said something beautiful to me just now after being silently watching me be all morose. He said the conception journey is OURS - very personal to us. We will celebrate our small/big milestones together.

My OH just had his semen analysis done 3 weeks ago and was exact same as @Stabal described. Just had to call his GP and say I had my bloods done for fertility purposes and they have requested he gets a semen analysis. Few days later his little pot and appointment came through the post.

Sorry somehow missed the whole last page of comments until I added mine there. @nervousnoob welcome too 😊 I have also been there with the jealousy feeling when others announce espec followed by the we weren't even trying or it was our first month trying (seems to have happened that way for alot of people I know) so please dont be too harsh on yourself, I think we all know exactly that feeling.

Hey @Stabal I am CD5 so gearing up for another month ahead. Got my appointment at the assisted conception unit on Wednesday, 2 days and counting 😬

AF was super light again this month and only lasted like a day and half. I know that probably sounds like a dream to some espec when you say yours are usually 6 days but I've convinced myself that it cant be a good thing mine are so short/light and possibly I'm not producing enough tissue for implantation (dont know if thats even a thing Haha)

How are you feeling now? Glad you enjoyed some wines with your sister even if you did pay for it the next day 😜

@crazycatlady1981 I have 2 ginger and white cats who are brothers and 6 years old. Such lovely cats too!

I have sore boobs today and trying to not read too much into it. I'm 7DPO so I think I'm just hoping this is a sign. I've had sore boobs before which meant nothing so not getting my hopes up!

@Mia1985x I'm CD5 as well! Though I hate that I don't ovulate until around CD20, it feels like forever to wait. Ohh keep us informed how it all goes on Wednesday! Light periods are probably the one thing I can't give any advice on 😂 you're right it sounds like dream but I can completely understand your worry! Hopefully it doesn't mean anything. I'm still not feeling great today, I think I have some sort of bug. My 14 year old niece goes to school in the high school I work in and when I seen her today she said, "you look tired" then my sister called me and asked if I was okay because my niece said I looked really sick.. Nice haha!

@Stabal aw that's rubbish you still weren't feeling great, hopefully it eases today for you. How funny of your sister/niece, looking out for you but it's like yeah thanks tell me I looked like crap 🤣🤣

8DPO here and not much to report. Had slight aches and twinges on my right side of pelvis this morning, but could be anything and I often feel aches 5 days before AF is due and it is due next Monday/Tuesday so could be that she will come on Sunday instead. Not feeling confident as we only DTD twice this fertile window (3 days before my peak smiley face and the day of peak smiley), so although we covered it, it was no SMEP by any standards!!!

Not feeling confident this month. I’m cd 37 cramping for two days with no AF. Negative tests. Wish AF would just come so I can start a new cycle.

@stabal oh dear, its not great to have people telling you that, but it’s nice that they care about you enough to check up on you though!
@Mia1985x my af has got lighter in recent months, last one was 2 days of heavy bleeding and then nothing! Very strange as it usually lasts at least 4 days!

Had my blood tests this morning though so hopefully they will show up anything abnormal! The nurse said they were doing 14 different tests! I’ve no idea what ones, except for progesterone and probably oestrogen. But she has set me up with an online account so that as the tests come back I can look online and see the results! 😁 and then google everything to see what they mean!! 😂
@Plm28 I hate it when you can feel af on the way, but she just won’t show up properly! Hope she arrives soon or that you get a Bfp instead! What day is af due?

AF arrived for me today. As per my app it's exactly 14 DPO. And it's been consistent this way. Looking back I realise we DTD in the fertile period every other day.
I'm 33 and Aug was our 4th month of trying - I know it's not much. But I wonder what's going wrong.
