@Flowersandfireworks symptom spotting is so difficult isn't it! This is number 1 for me too and also only month 2 of being off the pill after being on it for 13 years so I really do have very little to compare it to! 😂

@SparklePrincesss if I'm being honest lovely, I can't see anything, but that doesn't mean to say that it isn't there or it won't show up when you're a bit later on. If it helps, my AF is due on the 4th October and I ovulated on the 19th September. My app is saying for me to test on the 1st October so I'm going to try to hold out until then. Maybe try to wait until around the 1st as then you may get a clearer picture then? x

SparklePrincesss · 25/09/2020 11:15

@RBCoxie Thankyou!!! I needed someone to say that so I could stop obsessing, weird that it takes someone to shake you when you've tried to knock yourself out of it 🤣 I'll hold off and wait to see how I go. I've just been to the toilet and there was a big blob of ewcm 🙈 such a delightful convo 🤣 going to get housework done to distract myself

RBCoxie · 25/09/2020 11:50

@SparklePrincesss no problem at all! That's exactly what groups like this are for! Distraction is the best way! I haven't had any EWCM this month, so actually quite jealous 😂

Hope everyone is feeling okay today - happy Friday! 💕

Clove76 · 25/09/2020 12:16

@SparklePrincesss I can see something in the top one, but it could be an evaporation line. Got my fingers crossed for you that there’ll be a line in a few days timeSmile

Thought I would join this thread as my ovulation date was 23/24th. I’m due on about 10/11th Oct, as my 2ww is about 16-18 days (frustratingly!). Haven’t decided yet when to test. I find the negative tests so disappointing, I managed to not test at all the first 2 months of trying, but last 2 months I’ve caved really early and just made myself feel awful when I did and it was negative!

SparklePrincesss · 25/09/2020 12:20

I've ordered frers to arrive tomorrow so I have them ready to use on Monday as I'll be within my week of af being due.

I agree @Clove76 we are our own worst enemy when it comes to testing!

jules5232 · 25/09/2020 13:18

I feel very validated getting on here today 😂 were all feeling the exact same way. 9dpo has ne feeling out. I've been crying at everything since yesterday which is typical for me right before AF. My back does feel better though so I'm happy about that! Im convinced that one of us is going to get their BFP this month though!!

MummyToPrince · 25/09/2020 13:38

@jules5232 Yes I'm certain someone will get their BFP this month, I don't think it will be me I feel deflated and irritable today Ive already convinced myself that AF will just show early and that there's no chance I could be 🤦‍♀️ negative nelly today I am AGAIN 😂

Not sure if this is helpful for anyone but I was just reading an article by Ava Women and it says that one study showed 84% of women have implantation between 8-10DPO. Then hCG takes two days to rise enough to be detected so testing was accurate at 10-12DPO.

Very aware that everyone is different and implantation happens differently for everyone but it made me feel a bit better if I mentally put myself into the 84% category and then I have in my mind I'm still in with a chance this month!

Sending lots of hugs and baby dust to everyone today - it's been a tough couple of days for us all ladies 💕

Supermathsdoc · 25/09/2020 15:58

@RBCoxie I like this, thanks for sending, I think it will definitely help me to avoid testing too early. I’m going to visit my parents this weekend so hopefully that will distract me too.

Still no symptoms other than the usual abdominal twinges that are no different to other months where I’ve paid attention. I feel tired but I think that’s more a function of a bad nights sleep.

Still planning to test on the 1st...

RBCoxie · 25/09/2020 16:05

@Supermathsdoc no problem at all! As I say, everyone is different and I don't think there's necessarily a 'right' time to test - it just helped me mentally accept if I don't get a positive that there's still a chance 😊

Yeah no symptoms really for me either - slight pulling sensation on my left side but I've had that for a few days now so don't think it's anything. Absolutely ZERO boob pain 😂

I'm going to test on the 1st too! x

MummyToPrince · 25/09/2020 18:07

@RBCoxie so the other half knows 🤦‍♀️ so he asked me if I'm pregnant as I'm off my food and says I'm a little different I said it's hormones and then burst into tears and couldn't stop myself from crying🤦‍♀️ he said why you crying poppet I said I'm not sure I think it's because its negative 🤦‍♀️but still early... So the surprise is out 😂

RBCoxie · 25/09/2020 19:07

@MummyToPrince oh bless you!! How're you feeling now he knows? At least now you can talk to him about it and you have that extra support too. It would have been so hard waiting until the 6th so I don't blame you! I was really craving prosecco tonight, so instead I have enough food to feed a family of 8 😂

jules5232 · 25/09/2020 20:02

Okay ladies, I'm officially off my rocker. Every other month while TTC I think about symptoms during the TWW but not quite so much as now. My backache worked it's way around to the left side of my pelvis today and felt tight for an hour or so. Nothing like AF cramps but they are gone now. I really dont want to get excited when I will most likely get let down, you know?? Took a test just out of curiosity and bfn of course.

SparklePrincesss · 25/09/2020 23:20

I think I'm out this month, I'm spotting. I normally do 7 days before af 😔 My cat hasn't left my side since last night, she must sense I need the cuddles

MummyToPrince · 26/09/2020 06:52

@RBCoxie at first I was annoyed but I'm ok with it now, it makes it a lot easier :-) 10dpo and BFN today

I'm now cramping on the left side :-/

SparklePrincesss · 26/09/2020 08:01

I'm sorry @MummyToPrince 😔 please be kind to yourself xxx

MummyToPrince · 26/09/2020 08:23

@SparklePrincesss it's just a little frustrating as had sore boobs and cramping for 7 days now, it just doesn't make sense, maybe it's just too early or AF playing tricks xx

I'm going to town today to pick up FRER, so I've just looked at the reviews on cheapies that I got from amazon and there are 67 reviews 61 of them are 1 star people saying they were in fact pregnant but these tests were always negative, literally clutching at straws and technically it's still early 🤦‍♀️

MrsKey2020 · 26/09/2020 09:18

Morning ladies! Sorry I haven't been active I've had so many orders in for this weekend it's been hectic 😩! I'm 11 DPO today and cramps have started 😓 I tested yesterday at 10 DPO and it couldn't have been more negative 😣 definitely think I'm out this month!

RBCoxie · 26/09/2020 09:23

@MummyToPrince I think getting an FRER is definitely a good idea! They're much more reliable from what I've heard. Cramping on the left side could be a sign of implantation which could happen at 10DPO! When are you planning on testing using the FRER?

@SparklePrincesss ah I'm sorry to hear that! You're not out until AF shows and it could be implantation so don't count yourself out properly yet!

MummyToPrince · 26/09/2020 09:29

@RBCoxie I'm thinking on testing Monday morning and just keep myself occupied until then.. I'm not going to test tomorrow, saying that I gave no self control 😂🤦‍♀️ but I'll try... How are you feeling? Xx

@MrsKey2020 your not out yet! Keep holding on x

Flowersandfireworks · 26/09/2020 09:51

@RBCoxie sounds like we’re in similar situations! I came off the pill after over a decade at the end of May, it’s been so interesting seeing what happens to my body over a cycle but also means I think everything is a symptom 🙈

@SparklePrincesss I’m afraid I can’t see it either but I am really rubbish at these. Maybe try again tomorrow?

@Supermathsdoc I’m also testing on 1st too so looks like there’ll be a few of us!

Sending love and baby dust to all! @MummyToPrincehow are you feeling today?

RBCoxie · 26/09/2020 10:03

@MummyToPrince Sounds like a good plan - just try and keep yourself busy over the weekend, it'll fly by! Or maybe don't buy the FRER until tomorrow so you don't have a choice 😂 I'm feeling okay, really tired (I was asleep at 9pm last night!) and got a pulling sensation which is sometimes on my left side, sometimes fully across my pelvis. Noticed lots of cm yesterday - first time EVER this month 😂 but apart from that, I'm normal!

@MrsKey2020 sorry I totally missed I your last message - don't worry, you're only out when AF shows!

RBCoxie · 26/09/2020 10:11

@Flowersandfireworks gosh I'm really not with it today - missing messages! Sorry!! How have you found being off the pill? I didn't notice much of a difference (although I'm in a much better mood generally 😂). You're so right though, anything could be a symptom!! It's so nice that a few of us are testing on the 1st! Already excited for it! Keeping everything crossed that this group is the group for BFPs!
