I'm grumpy tonight, I'm on a downer, not sure why! Ive not tested yet but already feel like writing it off and think af will show her ugly unwanted face! 🤦‍♀️

@MummyToPrince I really hope so too - I know I'm just being impatient and unnecessarily negative today. I'm really tired today too so that doesn't help. Ahhhh yeah of course!! That must make the TWW feel even longer - hopefully it'll be completely worth it though and it'll be a birthday to remember! When's his birthday? x

@RBCoxie I am feeling the exact same I've just cooked him pasta bake for his lunch tomorrow at work and I'm gagging as I'm putting the cheese on top, he just heard me and said you ok poppet? I said yeah just a hiccup burp 😂😂🤦‍♀️ it definitely does make it feel longer! His birthday is the 6th October, if I did get a BFP the hardest part would be not telling him before his birthday! Are you still testing on Sunday? 🌺

Hello Ladies, I've had a funny old day. I've got a UTI but also a fever so got sent home from work and had to get swabbed (really unpleasant) will be off tomorrow too probably because its taking 2 - 3 days for the results to come back at the minute. Nothing new to report otherwise, hope you're all well

@MummyToPrince oh bless you!! That must be awful! Hopefully that'll ease soon. I'm still wanting to eat a ridiculous amount 😂 I'd definitely struggle to keep it a secret but then again it may be even harder to wait until nearer the time to test! 😂 I'm in two minds about Sunday now - I told OH my plan and he wondered whether it may be too early and I may just be disappointed - after my negative day today I think he may be right 🤦‍♀️

To everyone who says they are feeling negative, I am exactly the same!

Not sure what it is about this cycle, maybe because it’s my third try? But I feel more like I’m going through the motions and I’ll be back here next month....

Anyone any tips for staying positive?

Oh @RBCoxie @Supermathsdoc @MummyToPrince Blah, meh, ugh, and general negativity are tiring, we know this to be true. To be fair it does then mean when good things come around they're all the better for being an unexpected suprise!

I personally give myself permission for a one day wallow. I can stay in my pijamas, eat ice cream in bed, watch too much tv and sleep when I fancy. But I only get one day. After that it's get up, have a shower and do something! Sometimes I have more than one wallow day in a week/month but never 2 in a row. It works for me.

It's about giving youself time and space to acknowledge how you're feeling and not feel guilty.

It doesn't take away from the fact that the first day of my period with cramps and dissapointment is a right b*tch! 😩

@BellaBella84 I think that’s really good advice and have decided to try and do the same! I think partly I’m afraid of the disappointment if I’m super positive, but actually being negative is way more tiring!

Morning. So according to my fertility friend app it's predicting my fertile week was 11th -18th with my fertile days being 17th/18th. My partner and I agreed we'd officially start trying after this af that's due but as soon as I realised we DTD in my fertile week I've tortured myself 😫 the last few days my boobs have been tender/sore and the last two nights I've felt nauseous. I used a couple of cheapies yesterday and they're both BFN 😫 I'm trying my hardest to get to sleep but part of me is aware it's been almost 3 hours since I peed and if I hold off a bit longer I could test again before I fall asleep 🙈 Af is due on 1st-4th depending on how long this cycle is as mine varies between 27 days and 30 days. I don't have patience at all. I also had such a negative day yesterday (Thursday) and after seeing all of your comments was drawn to comment. I already feel like I'm going crazy

It’s so hard to stay positive isn’t it! I’m also thinking I’m probably out this month but also can’t help thinking there’s a chance. Just trying to stay busy! Have my sister visiting this weekend which should help.

Morning everyone!! I feel I am out too this month, I've woken last night with an pulling pain but that's it's, my boobs feel fine and I just feel I'm going to come on. Not testing tho till next week. I'm going to chessington with my daughter and her friend for her birthday tomorrow so don't want to test and be on the rides knowing 😂

@MummyToPrince Aww you still have time, it's still very earlier I'm 10dpo today going by my ap! I kept comparing how I felt with my other 3 but I know with my last DS I didn't even know and he was a complete shock so it just shows to me that you can have no symptoms and still be! It was only till I found out about a week or so later I started to feel pregnant 😂

@HollowayL30 I'm already feeling out however when I fell with my son I had sore boobs that was it but this month I've had sore boobs since 3-4dpo they are still throbbing and I had very noticeable cramping which has subsided a little and I have no interest in food 🤦‍♀️

@MummyToPrince don't worry at all! It's still early and that little line has so much time to appear. Just today to get through and then it's the weekend which always goes quicker than weekdays and then we're all into a whole new week and the end of the TWW will be in sight!

@SparklePrincesss welcome! The TWW is definitely tough! Is your app giving you any idea when you can start testing? I'd try and hold off until then if you can! Much easier said than done though.

Thankyou @RBCoxie! It really is isn't it? I tested this morning and it's negative, I prefer them to frers as their whiteness can't be denied in reality! I've got a week to go so what will be will be. @MummyToPrince I hear you there, I just don't understand why my boobs are so tender when they're not normally, Mother Nature can play tricks though I suppose! FF isn't giving me any inclination for testing as it "hasn't detected ovulation" as I've not tested with opks etc.

@SparklePrincesss yeah! A two week holiday flies by, but the TWW? No no - drags!! Going to try to have a busy weekend so the next few days go by quickly!

I’ve had a bit of back pain and boobs are a bit sore but it could all be in my head! My temp is higher than it’s ever been though. This will be baby number one for us so nothing to compare it to.

Completely agree with everyone about time moving differently in the TWW. First couple of weeks after a period, everything’s normal. Then as soon as it gets to ovulation time I’m a crazy obsessive person until the next round! Really helps to be able to talk about it a bit on here though

😩😩😩 I looked again at my test from this morning and I'm convinced there's a shadowy line! I've looked so much in different lights round the house and inverted it that I now have line eyes. 🙈🙈🙈 please someone knock it out of me if I'm just seeing things!! It's the very top one I can see something more in reality
