@RBCoxie I'm literally going to celebrate when your AF has gone 😂 I feel so relaxed this time round, might be speaking too soon but I'm hoping it's a good thing, however I do have a feeling we are going to be shouting at each other 😂 x

@MummyToPrince Hahahaha I'm going to be celebrating too! Get the party poppers and cake out 🎉😂 Funny you should say that, I was saying the same thing to my OH this morning - I feel a lot more relaxed too. Last month I was definitely like OMG I need to track everything, DTD all the time and test every single day but now I feel a lot more relaxed! I bet this is when my cycle goes haywire and I lose all control 😂 hahaha at least we have each other's permission - how's your OPK looking today? x

MummyToPrince · 08/10/2020 08:36

I said the same to my partner aswell 😂🤦‍♀️ yeah I was thinking please don't go from relaxed to total sphyco! My OPK was negative this morning so just got to wait for that to rise now and hopefully catch that egg in time! X

@Clove76 that still looks promising though, I checked mine last night and it seemed to have moved lower and have started bleeding this morning.
I didn’t get hardly any symptoms with my son just brown blood on the day my period was due. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻 X

BettyM90 · 08/10/2020 09:23

Thinking of using the cheap OPKs along with the clear blue this month. What would you say is the best one to use? X

Imworthit · 08/10/2020 10:21

@Mummy To Prince @RBCoxie

Thank you for your kind words and understanding ❤️ I'm fine today things just got on top of me last night but all is good in the morning light 😊

RBCoxie · 08/10/2020 10:38

@MummyToPrince for me it's a very, VERY fine line between normal and psycho as my husband would tell you all 😂 ah that's good - means that little egg is still maturing and you have time to see the rise and DTD! I'm thinking of using the OPK at midday every day so I don't forget.

@BettyM90 I bought the Easy&Home ones - they were £12.98 for 50 on Amazon (assuming you're from the UK?). I'm going to use them with the PreMom app.

@Imworthit so pleased to hear you're feeling better 😊 we all need a cry and an outlet sometimes!

MummyToPrince · 08/10/2020 13:10

@Imworthit So glad you are feeling better! Keep smiling hun, it won't always be tough I promise

@RBCoxie 😂 I've just done another OPK and we are slowly on the rise woohoo!!

MummyToPrince · 08/10/2020 13:13

@RBCoxie well I think I'm on the rise I'm winging it to be honest 😂

Thank you @RBCoxie I’m from the UK too so will have a look into them :) do they seem accurate? X

RBCoxie · 08/10/2020 20:53

@MummyToPrince that definitely looks like a rise to me! I've seen that LH can be stronger later in the day though but if you're testing at the same time every day then it'll be totally fine.

@BettyM90 I haven't used them yet but all the reviews look great - you can also take a photo of them and upload them to the premom app which then tells you if it's low/high/peak which I think will be useful!

BellaBella84 · 09/10/2020 16:22

Off to pick up my clearview OPKs tomorrow. What can I say I like the smiley faces! 😁

MummyToPrince · 09/10/2020 16:24

I don't know what's worse the waiting to ovulate or the TWW 😂😂😂

OP posts:
RBCoxie · 09/10/2020 20:21

@MummyToPrince I can't imagine anything longer than the TWW 😂 ask me again in a few days time and I might have a different opinion! Guess what's finished now...that's right, AF!!! 🎉 First OPK tomorrow to get the baseline (according to these Easy@home things - I have no idea what I'm doing 😂)

Hope everyone is okay today! 💕

MummyToPrince · 09/10/2020 21:58

@RBCoxie I was going to celebrate earlier, but wasn't sure whether too incase the bitch was going to claim squatters rights!! WOOOHOOOOO!!! 🎉🎊 I haven't a clue what I'm doing I'm just winging it 😂 but we are back in and ready! Yeah i think I agree the TWW is longer!

OP posts:
RBCoxie · 10/10/2020 09:55

@MummyToPrince squatters rights 😂😂 this really made me laugh this morning! But nope!!! All gone! Got a reminder at 4pm to take my baseline OPK - let's do this!!! We have totally got this! 😊 how's your OPKs looking? Are you nearing your fertile week yet? x

MummyToPrince · 10/10/2020 10:18

@RBCoxie she can sometimes do that 😂.. They are only gradually getting darker I do 1 in the morning and one in the afternoon it's hard to know when the best time to take them is! We have definitely got this! According to my apps within the next 2-4 days I should be ovulating x

OP posts:
Imworthit · 10/10/2020 16:29

I swear this has been the longest month in the history of the world! 🤪

Period due today. BFN again today. Its the bloody hope that's killing me. I just 'know' I'm not pregant. Why didn't I just get knocked up at stupid and 20 😂

RBCoxie · 10/10/2020 17:06

@MummyToPrince I'm so pleased she disappeared when expected! I would have been royally miffed if she had stuck around after last month 😂 sounds like a good plan doing 2 a day, at least then you definitely won't miss it! I've just taken my first OPK - I can't get over how easy using the PreMom app is with them! I'd definitely recommend if you ever need more! Not long until ovulation for you! I think I'm due to ovulate on the 15th so not too long too! 😊 x

RBCoxie · 10/10/2020 17:12

@MummyToPrince I completely read my app wrong - I'm due to ovulate on the 20th - my fertile week starts on the 15th 😂

MummyToPrince · 10/10/2020 18:32

@RBCoxie I'm glad she did too!! I've just downloaded Premom and it says my FW starts on Monday! It looks like a really good app, it's sad but I'm starting to get excited now haha! X

OP posts:
MummyToPrince · 10/10/2020 18:33

@Imworthit I feel like this month is going to seem super long for me, so I know how you feel! Hope your ok

OP posts:
RBCoxie · 10/10/2020 18:50

@MummyToPrince it's good isn't it! I also entered my info from last month into it and then moved things for this month which seems more accurate. Ovia doesn't seem to change anything unless you enter data for that specific month. Definitely not sad at all - I feel exactly the same especially now AF has finished. Feel a lot more prepared than I did last month!

MummyToPrince · 11/10/2020 15:07

@RBCoxie I have just put in last month's info and it changed it to say today is the start of my fertile window, so I shall look out for the EWCM and ovulation cramps which I usually get.. Yeah I feel prepared and still relaxed shockingly x

Hey everyone, just catching up on these messages ...

@Imworthit I’m so pleased you’re feeling better, I’m a firm believer in the benefits of letting things out rather than bottling up.

@MummyToPrince @RBCoxie you have both inspired me to try and cultivate a more relaxed attitude this month. Although I suspect the trick to being relaxed is not forcing yourself to be!

My best friend just told me his wife is pregnant. She’s 10 weeks so I’m pretty sure he wasn’t supposed to tell me! But hearing him talk about it gives me some hope that it can just take a while sometimes, so I’m going try and be more patient...

Predicted ovulation is between 15-18th for me, I havnt started OPK testing yet but will do in a few days. Sending good vibes to everyone trying this month, hope this is the one for all of us x
