@MummyToPrince that sounds like a much more productive day than mine! I've barely left my sofa 😂 annoying that it's another day to wait, but at least it may give a reason for the BFNs - just testing too early! It's exciting that we should know next week though! I'm feeling okay, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disheartened by the BFN today but I knew deep down it was too early. Just got to have the patience! x

MummyToPrince · 27/09/2020 16:34

@RBCoxie I know! How exciting we will all know this week 😬 well I've got all my jobs done but now crying my eyes out because my little boy has been watching Disney films and I haven't taken him to the park 🤦‍♀️ emotional.... I'm disheartened for the both of us x

@MummyToPrince oh bless you! A day of Disney movies sounds great to me though! I know what you mean - it's difficult to imagine a BFP coming over the next couple of days when the BFN was so clear 😩

MummyToPrince · 27/09/2020 17:15

Where is everyone from? Xx

OP posts:
MummyToPrince · 27/09/2020 17:16

@RBCoxie I know, I'm staying until everyone gets a BFP 😂 xx

@RBCoxie what's your first name? Me and the other half is debating whether your name is Rachel or Rebecca 😂🤦‍♀️

OP posts:
RBCoxie · 27/09/2020 17:54

@MummyToPrince Rebecca 😂 amazing guess!! How did you get that with all the names there are beginning with R?! 😂

MummyToPrince · 27/09/2020 18:43

@RBCoxie 😂😂 you never know though this day in age their might be females called rover or Rodger 😂😂🤦‍♀️

Well i did housework and then fell asleep on the sofa, I'm feeling so nauseous right now. More Bloodshot ewcm so I'm guessing af is on her way and Mother Nature is just being annoying by giving me all these other symptoms I don't normally get. I'm from Northern Ireland, where are you from?

RBCoxie · 27/09/2020 19:19

@MummyToPrince I'd love to meet a girl Rover - not that I've ever met a guy Rover 😂 potential baby names ladies?? 😂😂

MummyToPrince · 27/09/2020 19:36

@RBCoxie hahaha not for me, I would love a girl called Ivy :-)

@SparklePrincesss Don't give up hope! I'm from Lincolnshire :-)

@MummyToPrince hahaha I think I'll pass too 😂 ah that's such a nice name! Having one of each would be lovely as well. Finding myself counting my DPO over and over again tonight - somehow trying to convince myself that it'll go faster that way!

MummyToPrince · 27/09/2020 20:04

@RBCoxie hahahaha I've been counting mine too, I was so annoyed when I counted this morning thinking I was 11dpo but I wasn't 😂🤦‍♀️

I asked my 5 year old about names because they said about how I'm having a baby 😶 they said Robbie for a boy and Tina for a girl... my dads name was Robert so I'm convinced it'll be a boy if I am pregnant

Has anyone else thought of names?

MummyToPrince · 28/09/2020 07:06

11dpo - BFN boobs are extremely sore and light cramps... How's everyone feeling x

OP posts:
RBCoxie · 28/09/2020 08:07

@MummyToPrince 9DPO for me - had sore boobs and really tender nipples yesterday and have them today too. Tested, even though I know it's too early still, and surprise surprise got a BFN. Actually waiting until the 1st onwards now because it's really disheartening. Can't see it happening this month but time will tell.

MummyToPrince · 28/09/2020 08:21

@RBCoxie Yeah I'm also waiting now, my heart literally breaks each time I see a bfn, I'm not sure it's going to be my month x

RBCoxie · 28/09/2020 08:30

@MummyToPrince I know exactly what you mean - it really is heartbreaking and you just can't see it changing to a BFP in a few days. I have so much respect for women who go through this for months on end! I've also just started to feel AF like cramps so I think it's coming. Lessons learned for next month! 💕

BettyM90 · 28/09/2020 09:19

Hello ladies, I hope it is ok to join this thread :)
Me and my husband are currently TTC #2 with this being our first month ‘properly’ trying. I am using the clear blue dual hormone OPK and they are making me feel like I am going crazy Hmm i am currently on CD 18 and have been getting flashing smiley since CD 12 but no static smiley yet! AF is due around 9-11 October.
Does this sound like it may be too late for me to ovulate?! Xx

Supermathsdoc · 28/09/2020 09:23

10DPO for me I still don’t really think I’ve had any symptoms. I’ve kept a daily list of what I’ve felt during the TWW every cycle since TTC and it’s all pretty similar:

A few mild one sided cramps, mild boob pain today and some general fatigue. I did feel some nausea (which I don’t usually get) but it could also be this mild cold I have.

There are definitely moments where I think, this is definitely the month, but also I’m trying to prepare myself emotionally for seeing that it isn’t!

Hope everyone on the thread is doing well with whatever is happening for them at the moment. I’m really glad to have this group and have everything crossed for all of you!

Supermathsdoc · 28/09/2020 09:28

@BettyM90 from reading various posts and my own experiences, I think different things work well for prediction for different people. I have started using a combination of temp, CM and OPK strips so that I have some reassurance if I think one measure might be ‘out’

I don’t think CD18 is ‘too late’ to ovulate, it all depends on your cycle length as whole. Mine seems to be 30-31 days and I ovulated on CD17. As far as I can tell, the second (luteal) phase stays relatively static for most people but the first phase can vary quite a bit.

I havnt used those digital ones though so can’t comment, I have the cheap ‘First Step’ ones with the line that gets darker.

SparklePrincesss · 28/09/2020 09:30

Morning! Boobs aren't really sore, did notice a big blue vein but not sure if I'm only noticing it now I'm symptom spotting. My moods been foul for a couple of days now. The weird spotting biz has stopped again for me. Nausea is still here. BFN this morning so I'm just trying to tell myself to believe them. Ive got one FRER left and lots of cheapies. Not going to use the FRER unless af doesn't arrive by 4th

BellaBella84 · 28/09/2020 09:37

Ladies, those of you who test early, what are the benefits? Because it seems to be the norm on mumsnet.

BettyM90 · 28/09/2020 09:45

@Supermathsdoc thank you :) I had quite a strong twinge like pain for a few hours last night on my right hand side and assumed it was ovulation pain and half expecting to have a static smiley this morning...but nope!
When will you be testing? I remember before I found out I was pregnant with my first I had an awful cold and felt like I was coming down with flu xx
