Good morning everyone!
Ive been on a few threads now since i started ttc baby no.3 in june.
Unfortunately in August i did get my BFP, but it ended in a chemical pregnancy, so back on another ttc thread with all you lovely ladies.

Not been on this one fir a few days. I'm having a bit of a nightmare since my last post. Thought I was out on Sunday as had my ore AF spotting of brown, then a wipe of red. Did my usual crying/huffy tantrum and prepared for AF.
However, I'm now 14dpo and still no actual AF. Other then the one wipe of red, I had a few days of brown spotting, now nothing. I had bad AF type cramps on Sunday but nothing further. Boobs hurt and I've been sick today, but here is where it gets weird. I've had 3 days of bfn.

I'm super regular and have 28 day cycles, with heavy 5 day periods. My cervix on Sunday was low and open, which again made he think af due. However from Monday it's been really High and closed!
Anyways, no idea what's going on now. 😞 still have to wait for my bloods on the 12th of October.

@Theawkwardblonde that’s so frustrating for you. Are you taking any conception vitamins? They can make your cycles longer apparently.

@MamaPheebz nope not on any vitamins. I've been off oral contraception for 20 months too so it's not that either. Only time I've been this late with spotting is when I've been pregnant (but lost as chemical) so I'm very confused. I can predict my periods down to the hour which is what I did Sunday but alas, didn't materialise! Goodness only knows.
Called doctors today and they just said they'll look when I'm in for bloods 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ I've got it in my head Ill be joining the menopause crew at the age of 28 🤣

I’m sure there will be some much simpler explanation. (Says the woman who after one miscarriage is now convinced there is definitely something wrong with me). Lol What about stress? When was your chemical? That could mess with your cycles too. I always ovulate on or around day 14 but didn’t ovulate until cycle day 19 this month. That’s messing with my head. X

@MamaPheebz I'm generally always stressed but this month I've been quite zen as I've found out I'm getting a new job, and husband has just been promoted too. So less stressed than normal.
My last chemical was back in June so I've had 3 periods since then and they've been normal. Goodness knows. I swear when you start TTC your body just think f**k it, we'll throw some random shit in the mix 😂😂 it does get it in your head that something is wrong. I'm just mega confused about all the other things like the spotting, cervical position, cramps, sore boobs and sickness today. Very odd 😂😂

Not sure if I'm posting in the correct place but here goes.

I'm new to the site, we are just about to start conceiving baby number 3. Our last child is 6 so it has been a while. My period came today this is us now officially trying to conceive I'm excited

Our bodies are so annoying but they are amazing when it all goes right. I’m so frustrated this month. After a false peak I’m all sexd out and didn’t dtd much round ovulation. I just kinda want my period so we can start again next month with a clearer head. Not sure I’m in the right headspace this month. Definitely not using stupid digital ovulation tests next month that is a fact!
I hope you get a BFP or your period soon so you know where you stand. Xx

Yeah what is with our bodies? So true, their amazing when they work but sooo confusing when they don't. What is it about TTC that as soon as you start strange things start happening?? I've had that experience every month of the last 4 cycles so this month I've just taken all my symptoms with a pinch of salt.
Today I've had lower back and pelvic ache and pale yellow stretchy CM in my knickers and think I saw the tiniest speck of blood, but again I've had this symptom before around the same DPO time (12 DPO). Last 4 months I've usually started spotting 2-4 days before AF due and just hoping I don't have any spotting this month. AF due Saturday and feeling like she will most likely arrive... again.
DH and I will be putting TTC on hold for a while due to my DH health issue, so part of me wants this month to be our month 😔 x

@MamaPheebz thanks! Nothing here yet so may have to just accept I'm not bleeding this month. I know how you feel being sexed out-I was the same this month!

@SarahMumof1DS oh grief sounds like you're having a tight nightmare! Fingers crossed you get a BFP! Have doctors explained why your cycle is like that?

Thanks @Theawkwardblonde, a nightmare is a good way to describe it. My DH had a suspected mini stroke at 32 years old nearly 2 weeks ago. So he is recovering from that and obviously our plan to conceive is on hold for a while.

I had back ache and cramps all yesterday and in the night and my temp has dropped a bit today so it's not looking good. It's probably for the best with everything that's going on but i still feel sad that it's not happening. My doctor said she'll test me after 6 months of trying so I'm going to go to her and ask if she'll test me now after 5 cycles due to our circumstances. Maybe just get my hormones checked at least and see if they can find anything while my DH recovers. I'll be interested to see if I have any of the same symptoms next month without us trying and see if it's just how my body is being naturally.

@Theawkwardblonde there must be something in the water up in the north east! I’m exactly the same but no bleeding. I’m 4 days late but have had 2 bfns!! I have such sore boobs, going to the loo a lot, my body temperature is high, my sense of smell is through the roof. I hate this so much xxx

@SarahMumof1DS I'm sorry to hear about your husband. I hope he's well in his way to recovery. Hang in there-it will happen for you. I would go to the doctors then at least they can check what's going on for you.
I've still got cramping today and the faintest spotting but still no AF 😞

I'm out for this month🩸 Can feel my focus shifting and we're considering adoption. I don't think it's because we haven't conceived yet, more that the time it is taking has given us the opportunity to think about whether there is a different journey we want to take to make our family grow 💖

If AF arrives I'm definitely calling the doctors and at least get the ball rolling on my fertility if there are any issues there.

It's so confusing when you're having cramping and spotting but AF doesn't fully arrive. I had that last 4 months, 4 days of spotting just before AF and never really had that issue before. I've not had spotting yet this month tho which i guess is a good sign? My cramping and back ache has stopped today which is weird. I'm expecting my temp to drop even more tomorrow as it's still above my cover line but I expect it'll drop below and AF will come.

My temps have been really stable this month and I'm pretty sure it's due to the Pregnacare, it seems to have really stabilised my whole luteal phase so I will keep going with the Pregnacare.

Are you due AF today? Are you temping?

@SarahMumof1DS AF arrived today 4 days late! Came with an absolute vengeance to the point where I'm actually in quite a bit pain which isn't normal. Has me suspecting another chemical which sucks. At least I know where I'm at.

I'm intrigued by pregnacare-I've not tried them before but I'm considering using them this cycle 🤔

We’re in the same boat having to rearrange a wedding but conceiving is more important to us just now since we’re in our 40’s.
So after thinking it was possibly an implantation bleed a couple of weeks ago I resigned to thinking it was AF and I’m all over the place after my chemical, and I think I ovulated the other day as predicted on the Flo app, so now for the second time this month I’m now in the TWW!!!🤪

It really is so disheartening and knowing where you stand is little consolation but at least it gives us back some sanity.

I was very put off the Pregnacare conception supplements at first but there were also so many positive reviews I weighed up my options and decided to go for them. Some people have said they skipped cycles with it and some have had very unpleasant side effects. I'm yet to finish my first month of it so I still don't know if the same could happen for me. But so far I haven't had any side effects from them and they seem to be doing good things for my cycle. I got mine on offer so I bought 3 months worth but some people say it was a waste of money after only taking a few tablets and having to stop from side effects soon after starting them. So depends on the person. Maybe see how you get on with them.

I've been taking my temperature throughout the day and it seems to be high again so will see by the morning if it drops. If it does then I'll know AF is coming. x

@Theawkwardblonde heyy! I used Pregnacare just before my last cycle and I always had 25/27 day cycles, I took Pregnacare for three weeks and when I realised I hadn’t ovulated yet I stopped, that cycle ended up being 41 days long. I’m currently on CD24 of my next cycle so I’m waiting to see if it’s gone back to normal, could be a coincidence but I have read a few people reporting the same problems, there’s nothing worse than prolonging the already lengthy process! I took the chance as it has worked for a lot of people but now I feel like it made me miss out that month 👎🏻

Hey @Theawkwardblonde I am sure supplements made me skip a month just gone so am taking nothing now

FWIW I conceived 4 x in my 20s and 30s with no supplements ...

@Theawkwardblonde looks like you should definitely weigh things up before considering supplements with all the mixed reviews. They're evidently not beneficial for everyone.

My temp dropped this morning below my coverline and now got a small amount of light brown spotting so looks like AF is about to show up ☹️. I'm definitely going to the doctors soon as AF is fully here (Due tomorrow). I have a feeling my hormones levels aren't right.

Thanks @Kg87 @Emmie12345 for the advice on pregnacare. May avoid it now! I do eat 90% well as follow keto most of the time bar the odd treat meal a week.

@SarahMumof1DS that's a shame to hear temps dropping. Hopefully docs can advise more. I just have to wait for my blood test but I have a feeling there is something up with my hormones too as I deffo think this week was a chemical as exactly the same as my previous two, just more painful! It's eased slightly today thanks. Just means another month TTC now!

Which Pregnacare were you all taking? I’m taking pregnacare original and you are worrying me now lol

@MamaPheebz I was taking Pregnacare conception! It may not affect you the way it affected me though!
