@Orlandoflorida1 I guess you and I are starting the 2ww 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Orlandoflorida1 · 03/09/2020 20:41

@Bizawit I can’t remember if you are BBT or not? I’m new to it but I had my positive OPK on Tuesday then today I had a slight rise in BBT but no idea if it all fits together. My temp tues and weds was 36.4 today it was 36.7 so not huge...🤷🏻‍♀️

beckyBP · 03/09/2020 20:52

Hey @Emmie12345 wow how frustrating for you!! Are you normally pretty regular?

Emmie12345 · 03/09/2020 20:55

Hey @beckyBP usually 27/28 days however last month was 30 days ...
Grrrrrr x

Dollybird89 · 03/09/2020 21:18

Cd 45 now and still bfn.. Brought thermometer on ebay last night so hopefully start tracking that soon. Its weird.. Nausea has died down a bit but still super exhausted, can't seem to make it through the day without a nap. What makes it worse is that my oh always looks so sad when he thinks af is almost here.. He wants it so bad bless him(me too ofc)

Bizawit · 03/09/2020 21:26

@Orlandoflorida1 oo that sounds promising I think!!?

I’m not BBT as I tried that last time and my temp was all over the place! Not sure if there’s a knack to it , or I just need a more accurate thermometer? 🤔

Orlandoflorida1 · 03/09/2020 21:33

@Bizawit I feel the same with it so who knows 🤣 I’m not confident it’s gonna happen this month! We shall see. When will you be due AF? (Hopefully it doesn’t come!)

Emmie12345 · 03/09/2020 21:46

@Dollybird89 wtf! We are in the same boat! Just want to get my period now !

Bizawit · 03/09/2020 21:46

@Orlandoflorida1 I’m due on the 17th and normally pretty regular. I feel like I miss-timed this month a bit though, as I was using those advanced digital ovulation sticks that are supposed to give you a flashing smiley face for a few days before you ovulate. This month I went straight from nothing to positive OPK, so it kind of took me by surprise. We got on it immediately but hope it wasn’t too late 🤞🏻Wink

Bizawit · 03/09/2020 21:47

@Orlandoflorida1 when are you due?

Dollybird89 · 03/09/2020 22:08

@Emmie12345 I know.. I'm thinking I've skipped one this month as I did have alot of stress around the time of ovulation. I keep driving myself insane with symptoms lol 😂 in my head I'm always scared that I'll get early menopause, I can't ask my mom if it's genetic as I not spoke to her in 21 years, I am only 30 but it's a big fear

MamaPheebz · 03/09/2020 22:10

I’m on cycle day one now af has finally arrived. First one after miscarriage. It’s a bittersweet moment but I’m trying to focus on the excitement of being able to try again. Is anyone else on here ttc after miscarriage?

Emmie12345 · 03/09/2020 22:20

@Dollybird89 I had a lot of stress when was due my period so I wondered if it was that !

Stress does affect ovulation def - try not to worry . How long have you been trying ? Xxx

Dollybird89 · 03/09/2020 22:26

@MamaPheebz I had one earlier In the year x I get the bittersweet feelings, it sucked as well as I was in lock down and couldn't see anyone for support hope your ok x

@Emmie12345 been ttc about 7 months now x

Emmie12345 · 03/09/2020 22:40

@MamaPheebz and @Dollybird89 so sorry for your losses and wishing you all the best xx

MamaPheebz · 03/09/2020 22:42

@Dollybird89 so sorry to hear about your loss. There are still a lot of restrictions in place in hospital but I’m very grateful to have been able to spend some time with my family to keep me distracted.

Orlandoflorida1 · 04/09/2020 07:04

@Bizawit I’m due around 16th but since I had my DD my cycle can be anything from 28-30 day’s! I’ve had another ride in bbt today so I’m guessing I did ovulate.

SarahMumof1DS · 04/09/2020 14:53

@Ttc2020no2

Wow 12dpo super painful af cramps, feeling ill too in bed. Cm is watery too. Is this just the beginning of the end? Lol xx
Sorry you're not feeling good @Ttc2020no2, I hope it's not AF. On a previous cycle I had a gush of watery CM which I had read could be a good sign. I did get AF soon after but it was very odd and not a normal symptom for me, only had watery CM like that when I was pregnant. So it could be a good sign for you. xx
gems05 · 04/09/2020 17:12

Hi guys, can I jump on the September bus?

I'm gems05, 35yrs old, TTC #1
Together with husband 12yrs, married 7yrs come dec, he is slightly younger 🙃 at 31yrs (his bday is in oct)

Implant out 11th August, started pregnacare conception for him and her, dtd a few times last few weeks, however it is now:
CD1 today I'm planning to track BBT and OPKs

I'm trying to get my head wrapped around the apps Femometer and Fertility Friend as I read a few conflicting reports of both apps - so thought I'd use both and hope for the best they tally up 99% of the time 😂
We are both making a conscious effort diet wise now especially as DH is struggling with sugars intolerance as far as we can deduce right now.... we've just had 2 wks annual leave so return to work has been a bit manic this week, otherwise we hope to be making use of our gym m/ship to encourage a get fit routine.

Any other tips / suggestions?

I apologise for the essay and in advance for any dumb questions/answers i may post.
Ps/ I am also profoundly deaf which will be a big worry for me TTC in terms of genetics

MamaPheebz · 04/09/2020 17:46

Hi @gems05

If you are only just TTC your first I’d just eat healthily, take the pregnacare and try to relax. Hopefully the implant juice is out of your system and this is your lucky month :) Don’t rely on the apps too much. Just have lots of regular sex all month lol Wink

Supermathsdoc · 04/09/2020 17:52

@gems05 I think all that sounds super sensible.

I’m also using 2 apps, one I’ve used for years to track my periods, just so I don’t get caught out at work but it’s not really designed for TTC and then Flo which uses much more data.

In terms of pre-conception stuff I tried to get my BMI as close to 26 as possible without ‘wasting’ too much time. I still have 6kg to lose before I’m there. I also take seven seas but have heard they mess with some people cycles so when they run out I’ll switch to just folic acid I think.

Tracking wise I use OPK (cheap ones) and temp. But I find CM the most sensitive although I’m using a donor and I can’t use once I’ve inseminated as I can’t tell!

Ovulation is predicted on the 17th this month hoping third time is a charm....

Bizawit · 04/09/2020 18:01

Hi @gems05!

Guys I’m feeling unbelievably exhausted today. I lay down on the couch for 5 mins and fell asleep! Is this a post ovulation symptom?

Also if I got a positive OPK on Tuesday, how many DPO am I?

gems05 · 04/09/2020 18:05

Hi @MamaPheebz thanks, we are pretty chilled about it if not a teensy bit excited.
The implant was already 3 yrs old at time of removal and GP thought it was starting to deplete, enough to want to put me on the pill too as I had a full period (with cramps and everything 🥴) at start of July. Hence we decided let's get it removed and TTC.

@Supermathsdoc we are keen to adopt a keto diet initially, just to detox our bodies (albeit not so strict)

Supermathsdoc · 04/09/2020 19:47

@Bizawit I would say positive on Tuesday likely ovulation on Wednesday (D0) so Thursday D1 but if you ovulate more than 24 hrs post surge it could be Friday.

Bizawit · 04/09/2020 20:00

Thanks @Supermathsdoc! I’ll call it 1DPO then Smile
