Hi everyone,

Setting up the new thread for us - we have come a long way since January and sadly a few of us are still on the "journey". Let's hope we arent here for much longer. Wishing us all baby dust (although its been so long I am not sure dust will do it for me - maybe will have to up the particle size to "baby sand" )

Ttc ladies:
@Fizzl
@Nuggetlover27
@ELM7
@Ljm0101
@Abi0795
@Babyghirl

And our recent bfps who i know like to check in :)

Even the instagram ads are getting to me 😫😫😫😫

@SunnySideUp2020 she isnt officially here yet but she is on the way! Will be nice to have a break from the progesterone suppositories though 😂😂😂

@Babyghirl yes let us know how it goes tomorrow with the temp! Could just be a one off low temp if your mouth was open alot when you were sleeping.

@Annny27

I temp vaginally think it gives better reading. But really feel like af will be here tomara if so just a 24 day cycle for me.

Fizzl · 16/08/2020 22:35

Oh dear - I've just cried watching escape to the chateau! Definitely a symptom right?! 🤣

@Annny27 I feel like I've seen someone mention the pregnant pepper on here before! I think that's what made me think of it when I saw it 😂 cracking eggs is also not the same anymore, I just can't look at egg whites without thinking about cm 🤦🏼‍♀️ kind of grim really.

@SunnySideUp2020 and @Annny27 I will test 10dpo as that's normally when af tends to show up anyway. I also got my BFP at 10dpo last time.

Fizzl · 17/08/2020 11:16

Well looks like af has paid me a surprise visit this morning 😑 giving me a very unhealthy 8 day luteal phase. Gah 😒

Annny27 · 17/08/2020 11:32

@fizzl I am sorry lovely :( are you sure its AF?? Could be implantation bleeding

My AF has arrived today too (well its starting not properly arrived but its on time so expected to arrive in full force later)

@Babyghirl ahh vaginally temping is much more accurate you're right. What was it today?

OP posts:
Fizzl · 17/08/2020 11:44

@Annny27 pretty sure it's af. I'll soon know for definite as my heavy flow normally starts pretty much straight away. I had a huge temp this morning below cover line and cramps so everything suggests it's af.

My husbands just suggested it's now time for us to go and see someone. I've been thinking we need to for a while but then try and convince myself I'm over reacting etc. Hearing him suggest it has made me realise it's probably for the best 😔

Feeling really sad about it all today. Not so much that af has arrived, more the worry that somethings not right.

Annny27 · 17/08/2020 12:00

@fizzl I dont know about you but the nhs don't want to see me untill atleast novemver when its 12 months after the miscarriage.

Maybe you could see someone private like i did and ask for some luteal phase support (progesterone suppositories) and then potentially look into trying to bring ovulation sooner (its something like myo inositol, Google it)

Xxx

Babyghirl · 17/08/2020 12:26

@Annny27
Back up to 36.7 today still nt getting my hopes up thou af due in about 4 days so will c what happens then. How r you feeling today. 💚💚💚💚

Fizzl · 17/08/2020 12:42

@Annny27 I suspect it will probably be the case. They weren't interested at all when I spoke with them earlier in the year about my short luteal phase and missing period. We've agreed we're going to look into going private if we have no joy with nhs 😒 it's really disheartening but at the same time I'd rather know if there was a problem so we can fix it. I have bought some agnus castus before it's still in my drawer but I'm afraid of messing things up further 😬 but desperate times...

SunnySideUp2020 · 17/08/2020 15:14

@Fizzl sorry she s here and so early 😔
Definitely get private help at least to regulate ovulation and have a real shot at ttc without the stress of late or missing ovulation.
And perhaps the progesterone. It won't harm.

@Annny27 has AF showed up when you stopped the progesterone?
Have you tested again or not?

Annny27 · 17/08/2020 15:25

@Babyghirl thats promissing :D keep up posted. Feeling a hit deflated about starting a new cycle but not overly sad!

@SunnySideUp2020 I tested yesterday at 14dpo and it was bfn so my last dose of progesterone was yesterday morning and I have pre af spottinf now so she will probs be here in full force tonight or tomorrow morning!

@fizzl yes our provate doctor was 180 for initial consultation and then 100 for the medication. He didn't thjnk we needed any extra tests for a few months atleast. It is a bit pricey but if you can afford it its 100% worth it in my opinion as nothing is more important to me right now haha!

OP posts:
Nuggetlover27 · 17/08/2020 15:29

@Fizzl and @Annny27 so sorry that AF arrived for you both 😔
Also sending hugs for you feeling down 💕
I know what you mean about worrying something could be wrong and trying to convince yourself your overreacting.
I keep doing the same thing. I really want it to happen naturally but so worried something is wrong and we will need help. Just makes you wonder why us?

Babyghirl · 17/08/2020 16:45

@Annny27
Do you rackon if I tested nw anything would come up lol I'm not norm one for testing early but never had a drop like that for it to rise again. Not holding out much luck tbh but can only hope 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗.

Fizzl · 17/08/2020 20:53

@Annny27 those prices seem quite reasonable! I was expecting it to be a lot more than that. We can afford to go private so we think that's what we will do. It's frustrating that the help isn't as forthcoming in the nhs but I do understand they are stretched and we're paying for the luxury of speeding things up.

@Nuggetlover27 thank you. I'm feeling fine again tonight after my wobble this morning. Im focusing on the positives like booking a mini break for our wedding anniversary and having a glass of wine with friends on Friday! 😂 it's not all bad!

Annny27 · 18/08/2020 09:07

Morning :) AF still hasn't arrived properly yet at 16dpo....the progesterone must be slowly coming out of my system as still in the spotting stage 🙄

@fizzl yes definitley worth getting it looked at :) our wedding anniversary (3rd one) is in September and I am looking at a little UK weekend break too. Just not sure what to do at the moment!

@Babyghirl after a potential implantation dip you should wait 2-3 days before testing:D

@Nuggetlover27 any sign of ovulation yet? Yes I get really depressed sometimes and I am just like WHYYYY

OP posts:
Babyghirl · 18/08/2020 09:40

@Annny27
Temp up again today to 36.9 12dpo just another 3 days to go 💚💚💚💚

ELM7 · 18/08/2020 09:56

Morning Ladies.

Sorry AF arrived @Fizzl and that it’s looking like arriving for you @Annny27.

Still confused uterus here CD22 and no sign of ovulation a week later than normal and AF would normally be due this time next week. Just really hoping it was an early ov that I missed and that AF will arrive on time rather than the whole cycle being out of whack.

Fizzl · 18/08/2020 10:32

@Annny27 ah it's also our 3rd anniversary too. Where has that time gone?! It only seems like yesterday I was getting everything ready not 3 years ago 😱 scary. We're not sure what to do either, because of all these localised lock downs which keep popping up we're going to wait to book it as late as possible. I think we want to go to the coast tho, just hope the weather picks up again a tad!

I'm very envious you've got to 16dpo without af arriving! Seems the progesterone is certainly doing the trick. I've got a doctors appointment today so will see what comes from that. I'm not getting my hopes up but thought I'd give it a try first! I've got everything written down what I want to say 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ and I'm sure at the end they'll tell me I need to relax and give it more time 😑

@ELM7 sorry you've also got a confused uterus. I can't offer anything other than I know what it feels like and it's crap 😔 I just feel my body is broken somehow and it needs fixing!

Annny27 · 18/08/2020 11:13

Finally an Instagram ad thats accurate for me 😂😂😂😂😂😂

@fizzl same! We are thinking countryside get-away e.g. cotswolds or something like that as we had a little coastal holiday in July:D

Yes its pretty long lp! Feel like i am in with a chance now :)

@ELM7 ahh its so frustrating! Whats your CM like? I can tell where I am roughly in my cycle by my cm

@Babyghirl exciting!!!!

@Annny27

Nt getting excited just yet but just throw up I so want to do a test but then again I'm a scared incase it's a nagitive, and it's just my body playing tricks on me lol. 💚💚💚

Annny27 · 18/08/2020 11:28

Omg if you threw up take a test!!! @Babyghirl

OP posts:
Babyghirl · 18/08/2020 11:47

@Annny27
Need to get a test I don't keep them at hand lol. Will nip out soon just scared at seeing a nagitive I much prefare to c my period than a nagitive test lol.

Fizzl · 18/08/2020 12:31

@Annny27 ah we went to the cotswolds last year as part of a little road trip we did and we loved it! It was so peaceful and quaint (if that's what you're looking for 😂)

Love that Instagram ad. Yep, much more relatable!

I've just spoke with gp and as I expected - not interested. At. All. One of the first things she said was 'stress and anxiety isn't good for hormones' and I could feel myself getting irrationally wound up. They clearly think I'm stressed and anxious. Firstly she told me it can take 6 months for hormones to balance out after a miscarriage, when I pointed out it was almost 9 months this then changed to it take 12-18months. Apparently my only option would be to go on hormonal contraception for a few months 🙄 so it was better I just relaxed and gave it a few more months....

I also asked about progesterone and it was basically an outright no until I've had 3 miscarriages. I think she was missing the point slightly that my chances of getting pregnant right now seem quite slim with a LP of less than 10 days. Although not impossible I know.

I've now rang a private hospital to get an appointment there with a consultant who hopefully knows more about these things!

I said to my husband that she was right and I am stressed and anxious now about the lack of understanding and me seeming to be repeatedly labelled as stressed and anxious rather than getting to the root cause of it.

Anyway, let's see what this private fertility specialist can do!

@Babyghirl I agree with Anny, you need to test! Sounds very promising but our bodies can be cruel sometimes too!

Babyghirl · 18/08/2020 12:38

@Fizzl

Going to nip out and get a test don't keep any in the house 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈 I have only ever tested about 4 times and two out off them times I was pregnant.
