Hi everyone,

Setting up the new thread for us - we have come a long way since January and sadly a few of us are still on the "journey". Let's hope we arent here for much longer. Wishing us all baby dust (although its been so long I am not sure dust will do it for me - maybe will have to up the particle size to "baby sand" )

Ttc ladies:
@Fizzl
@Nuggetlover27
@ELM7
@Ljm0101
@Abi0795
@Babyghirl

And our recent bfps who i know like to check in :)

@Annny27
Life can be hard I'm right with yous on that one, ttc can take up your whole life but girls we got this we will have r rainbow babies soon I have a feeling xx

Annny27 · 22/11/2020 09:46

Morning ladies :D cd9 I think and no sign of ovulation yet - I am on antibiotics atm for something else so I am worried it might cause thrush again 😭 I am going to get some propbiotic yogurt and eat a load tomorrow to try and get some good bacteria back into my body haha! Thrush and ttc do not mix 🤣 so if I can avoid it I'd like to

@fizzl same here although I would not like to be 17 again i would like to be 25 or 26 again! (I am 28 so not miles away but heading in the opposite direction haha)

When is your next scan?

@Babyghirl you are so positive which is such a blessing! Did AF arrive?

@Nuggetlover27 i am a bit meh about this month, I havent given up but I am a bit laissez-faire with it as its been so long!

Although another girl on another thread i am on (and have been on since August 2019!) Has just got her bfp after nothing since July 2019 so I am soo chuffed for her :D

OP posts:
Annny27 · 22/11/2020 09:47

Its actually cd10 - thats a good sign i am not so obsessed 🤣

OP posts:
Babyghirl · 22/11/2020 10:02

@Annny27
Not yet although I'm only cd24 from my miscarriage bleeding started but should be here soon as my cycle has started quite regularly after each loss, how r you getting on we will get there girl I'm 9 years older than you so you still got a load off years on me lol, but another thread I been reading a lady had her rainbow at 43 so miracles do happen and they will 🍀💚

Fizzl · 22/11/2020 21:25

@Nuggetlover27 I think/hope everything is going ok! I still feel quite ropey most days so hoping that's a good sign. Any signs of ovulation? I'll keep everything crossed for you 🤞

@Annny27 oh no hopefully you dodge thrush! Get eating that yoghurt! Haha no not sure I'd like to be 17 now, I loved it when I was 17 but everything seemed very different then to now (that makes me sound old, like the good ol' days 😂). My next scan is 1st dec so just over a week away. That's lovely news that someone has got their BFP after so long of trying! As crappy as it is sometimes it seems to take a lot of perseverance for no known reason.

@Babyghirl I absolutely agree miracles can and do happen - such a positive outlook 😊

Babyghirl · 23/11/2020 10:22

@fizzl
How r you getting on how far along are you nw, can't wait to hear an update 🍀💚

Babyghirl · 23/11/2020 10:33

Well just an update with my fertility specialist app will hear from them in Jan so nt long hopefully bot 4 or 5 weeks girls I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Hopefully they can help with the nxt bean to stick for 9 months lol 🙏🤞🍀💚

Annny27 · 23/11/2020 10:52

Morning ladies :D cd11 maybe had some ewcm last night (might be leftover sperm who knows 🤣)

@babyghirl yep my friend in work had her babies over 40 no issues 🥰🥰 thats good that its not too long to wait for fertilitt appointment! I think progesterone and aspirin might be your best bet next bfp but the specialist know much more than my Google knowledge 🙈🙈🙈

@fizzl not long to wait then for you 🥰 how are the injections going -do you feel like a pin cushion?

OP posts:
Babyghirl · 23/11/2020 11:48

@Annny27
I think progesterone would help has I have been low on 21 day bloods only sitting at 16.5 so to me that's border line low. Hoping he gives me clomid to help ovulation stronger to how r you getting on 🍀💚

SunnySideUp2020 · 23/11/2020 12:00

Just catching up with this thread :)

@Annny27 re what you said about feeling a bit bitter about the births of rainbows. I totally get you... you shouldn't be ashamed of how you feel.
You want it so badly and put so much energy into it, it is a frustrating thing to see you are "behind". But it will come!

For thrush have you tried those pessaries supposed to help the balance down there??

Ah and for your worry about womb scarring, i also had it and that's why i had the hysterescopy done (also feeling i was a bit ott with investigating) and she didnt find scarring but she did remove polyps. And we conceived the month after so maybe it helped...
So not a stupid worry to have at all!!!

Hope everyone else is ok, despite the usual ups and downs of the ttc journey.
Thinking of all you and really wish you could all have your BFP soon 🌈❤💙

Over here nothing major to report, 21 weeks and a bit. I am impatient, just want to be spring already. I know i am pregnant but still find myself not fully believing i will meet her. It's like a distant thing.
So for now growing the tiny human! And crossing off weeks. Still don't know if i am feeling movements or just being gassy though 😅 thanks to anterior placenta!

Baby dust to all 💫💫💫💫💫💫

Fizzl · 23/11/2020 14:22

@Babyghirl I'm 9+1. Feeling quite anxious today as it was around now when our previous baby stopped developing. Trying not to dwell and worry! That's good news about your fertility appointment - it will fly by with Christmas and everything in between.

@Annny27 I'm not going to lie they're not my favourite thing to do each day but hopefully it will all be worth it in the end! Sometimes they're really not bad at all and other times they sting a little. But I'm getting a lot braver at just going for it rather than having to build myself up 😂. I've managed to escape any bad bruises tho by not touching/rubbing after so that's a bonus as I was warned they can leave you black and blue.
Sounds like you're heading into fw! Good luck 🤞

Babyghirl · 23/11/2020 14:39

@fizzl
I was lurking through another thread where a girl had to take them she was saying when taking them on the stomach it was agony she swapped to her thighs and it was not as bad taking them all will be well this time around this is ur rainbow baby girl you got this 🍀💚

Annny27 · 25/11/2020 21:41

Evening ladies 🥰 in fertile week for sure now dont think I have ovulated yet but just dts every other day which is much stressed than dtd every day!

@SunnySideUp2020 thank you lovely 💗 I think I am less stressed about the potential scarring now but if we don't conceive in the next few months I might look into it privately. That's interesting that they removed some fibroid and then you conceived!

Cannot believe you are half way with your little girl!! How's married life treating you?

I am very laissez-faire this month which is good for my mental health 🙌

@fizzl thats fantastic that you arent too bruised. If I ever had to do ivf its the injections that worry me the most haha! Have you had any different symptoms this pregnancy vs last time?

@babyghirl yeah the progesterone will be a great help to you 🥰 has your partner had any issues with his sperm atall with the samples that he has had analysed?

OP posts:
Nuggetlover27 · 26/11/2020 08:17

Morning all

CD22 today (had to look at my app to know that! That's how much I'm not over thinking things this month!) think ov was Tuesday or yesterday so technically 1/2DPO today.
Have been dtd every other day as usual.

OH should get his SA results at the end of this week so 🤞🏻 for that

Also keeping my fingers crossed for our 🌈 s soon!!!!!

@Fizzl that's good about your injections. I bruise so much from a blood test so I would be a nightmare!

Fizzl · 26/11/2020 10:56

@Babyghirl I have thought about doing it in my thigh, I just don't feel like I've got much skin to pinch there tho and if the needle goes into muscle it hurts apparently so I'm a bit wary. Around my stomach I've definitely got more inches to pinch 😂 I don't know if that might change tho as baby hopefully gets bigger. How are you doing?

@Annny27 glad you're feeling more chilled! It definitely does your mental health the world of good but it's not easy! Honestly don't worry about the injections if you did need to have them for any reason. I used to be a huge needle phobe and if anyone ever said to me a few years ago I'd be injecting myself daily I'd have never believed them because I couldn't have imagined anything worse. But it's honestly not that bad - if you had to do it you'll be fine. You just kind of put your big girl pants on and suck it up! Yes my symptoms are very different this time. Last time I felt pretty good the whole time. I had slightly sore boobs but that was about it. This time the nausea is 🥴 I have moments of thinking I feel ok, worry about why I don't feel sick and then the nausea hits me again and it's pretty grim! It's especially bad at night. Last night I just had to try and shut my eyes and go to sleep because I felt that grim. I've not actually been sick so hoping it doesn't get any worse! As rotten as I feel I also find it slightly reassuring in a strange way!

@Nuggetlover27 🤞🤞 for you!

Babyghirl · 26/11/2020 14:11

@Annny27
Hoping nxt time they give me them I they help I'm just relaxed myself which is great think it's because I knw my app is coming up soon.

ELM7 · 27/11/2020 09:10

@Annny27 married life is the same 😄
Except i have really had a big talk (might have shouted a bit) with DH about helping with house chores. But that's more in anticipation of baby arriving than being married.
So he has been doing his share lately which feels great!

@ELM7 A truly big FAT positive 🤩 big congratulations lovely! Come on the other thread when you are ready 😊😇
That smear test nurse told you to hurry so you did 😏🙄
How many dpo are you?
Also very cute pup 🐶

ELM7 · 27/11/2020 10:15

Thank you Ladies I’m 14dpo and was expecting AFs arrival by yesterday so thought I might as well waste a test not expecting to see a second line at all.

Nope did nothing different this cycle. Still did OPKs but only for a couple of days because I know when I’m due to ovulate I just like to confirm it.

Had 21day bloods done and DH did his SA sample (very glad I got him
To delay that as was originally booked for FW) but haven’t had results back on either as can’t get passed the wonderful Dr receptionist who are on power trips. So the only difference is that I wasn’t obsessing in the TWW as had hands full with puppy.

Very few symptoms at the moment either so of course panicking that it will all go wrong again. Boobs are a bit tender and have had lots of cramping and pinching but just thought they were the usual AF arrival symptoms. Have been falling asleep on the sofa about 10pm but again thought that was just because I’m tired as we are getting up in the night with puppy to take her out for the toilet.

Just hoping and praying that this little bean sticks. Going to try and talk to Dr about getting early scan as am higher risk with the double uterus.

Babyghirl · 27/11/2020 10:17
