Hi everyone 😄 hope you're all doing well. I've been trying to forget about things as much as I can. So far so good, this weeks gone strangely quickly - I thought time would be dragging.
How are you doing @Babyghirl? Have you had a scan? I remember that feeling well when I desperately wanted my tests to turn negative. They didn't for weeks and i was spotting for what felt like forever. I ended up having bloods taken to figure out what was going on. Only a few days later my period arrived. I hope this is all over for you soon 💐
@Nuggetlover27 Im glad it's not just me! I really appreciate it must be a tough job and I couldn't do it but how they share things really makes a huge difference to how you feel and how reassured you are. Sorry AF arrived, How are you doing?
@Annny27 I think I will survive the two weeks without caving - this week has gone so quick. I've actually surprised myself, I thought I'd be climbing the walls but I actually just feel quite calm and resigned to the fact that whatever happens is out of my control. Oooh I miss Brie! I normally love ALL the cheese at Christmas - hopefully that won't be he case this year. Small sacrifice hopefully 😬. I'm starting the injections tomorrow. Long story but turns out there is a national shortage (nothing is ever straight forward!) and the pharmacy needed to order them in. I'm ok with it tho because I figured I'm probably only just around the 6 week mark now so I'm feeling now is a good time to start. Wish me luck - I'm not great with needles 😂. I hope the rest of the tww goes quickly for you.
@27DONFIN sorry you're having a tough time. Social media can be really hard. I remember having a few meltdowns over Facebook announcements. Then feeling guilty about it. Remember it's ok, it's not that you're not happy for them you're sad for yourself and what you've lost and that's totally understandable and justified.
@scrumdiddly123 ah thank you! That is reassuring to hear. I'm feeling o.k and hopeful everything will be fine when we go back but there's always that niggling at the back of your mind!
@Kamacs12 thank you! So far so good 🤞 I was advised to wait one month just to be certain there was no retained tissue (sorry I hate that word!). If you're period doesn't arrive and you keep getting faint positives it's hard for them to determine whether it's a new pregnancy or still tissue from your previous one. But otherwise there's no reason you can't - there's no associated risks with another loss as far as I'm aware
