Hi everyone,

Setting up the new thread for us - we have come a long way since January and sadly a few of us are still on the "journey". Let's hope we arent here for much longer. Wishing us all baby dust (although its been so long I am not sure dust will do it for me - maybe will have to up the particle size to "baby sand" )

Ttc ladies:
@Fizzl
@Nuggetlover27
@ELM7
@Ljm0101
@Abi0795
@Babyghirl

And our recent bfps who i know like to check in :)

Annny27 · 30/10/2020 21:59

Evening ladies :) I have ovulated now so in the tww again......🤞🤞

@Babyghirl thinking of you lovely! It is a horrible feeling isnt it :( keep your strength up and make sure you are drinking and eating lots and keeping up your iron 💗 its great that it started naturally and didn't need medical intervention xx

@ELM7 sorry that AF arrived:( I am also coming up to a year since my surgery! Crazy how fast (and also how long haha) that this year has gone!!

Thats so rubbish that they might be cancelling routine tests again! Bloody corona 🙄🤪

@SunnySideUp2020 I am reaaaaally hoping so! Praying for my rainbow 🌈 🙏 ❤

Are you enjoying newlywed time sunny? I loved the

@jadem83
Welcome to the thread where you can vent as much as u want and we will always be here to listen, in the same age as you trying to conceive first child but all I have achieved is 3 miscarriages going through my 3rd one as wee speak it started today and I have started passing clots so just hope it does not last to long.
@Annny27
It's an awful feeling when your ready for it to be over, I'm tired and I can't see much sleep being had tonite, awful to say but Im. Hoping the pregnancy did nt process much after my first scan where I only measured 6 weeks instead off 7 then the miscarriage in its self won't be to bad.

Jadem83 · 30/10/2020 22:42

@Babyghirl thanks for the welcome and I’m so sorry that your currently going through another loss 😢 lots of love and strength to you 💕 I really hope it’s overly quickly for you , that you have lots of support and enough pain relief to keep you comfortable . My heart truly goes out to you 😔

@Annny27 Thankyou for welcoming me also . I really hope that this is your month 🙏 my cycles are all over the place since April . I had a d&c for retained products A few weeks After medical management in the hospital and not sure if that’s the reason or if it’s just to be generally expected after a loss but alas I’ve no real idea when af is expected each month . Some time between Cd 27-32 but seem to ovulate much earlier than before and pretty sure I’ve ovulated already this month so have done all that I can here and also in the tww 🤞🏼

Jadem83 · 01/11/2020 13:16

@Babyghirl I just wanted to ask how your doing ? You’ve been in my thoughts all weekend x

Babyghirl · 01/11/2020 14:43

@jadem83
Tired and drained but other than that things have died down so think and I'm hoping it's all gone. Bleeding not as bad as it was Friday and Sat thank you for thinking off me. Midwife going to phone me tomara so don't know if they will want to scan me to make sure everything has cleared out. How have you been xx

SunnySideUp2020 · 01/11/2020 16:24

@Fizzl Good luck with your scan tomorrow 🤞🌈

Fizzl · 01/11/2020 17:33

@SunnySideUp2020 thank you! Starting to feel quite anxious now. Really hoping for some positive news but I can't help but still worry it might not be! Been feeling more anxious the closer it's got. 🤞 everything looks as good as it can for 6 weeks tomorrow.

Hope everyone else is doing ok, sorry I've not had chance to catch up recently - I've been trying to keep myself busy and distracted and less time on mumsnet to try and help keep my anxiety under control! 😬

SunnySideUp2020 · 01/11/2020 18:58

It will be alright @Fizzl
Just remember 6 weeks everyone gets different outcomes.
But hopefully you get to see a bean!

Babyghirl · 01/11/2020 19:15

@fizzl
Goodluck for your scan tomara and please update us on how it goes 🍀💚

27DONFIN · 01/11/2020 19:43

@Fizzl good luck tomorrow 🍀

Annny27 · 01/11/2020 20:41

@fizzl best of luck tomorrow!!!

@babyghirl do you think the worst is behind you?

Sorry been a bit quiet girls, just trying not to obsesd tbh and come to terms that its likely going to be a period arriving in two weeks and not a bfp! I have realistic hope I would say

@Annny27
I'm hoping I pass a lot on Friday nite to Sat bleeding has eased off just a wee clot now and again and pain has eased off. So hoping the worst is behind me the wee midwife is phoning me tomara from the epu again she has phoned me a few time to check up to c how I an god love her so will ask her is there anyway I can get a scan to make sure everything has cleared out. I'm just glad to be over the worst even though I'm drained and sleeping loads xx

Nuggetlover27 · 02/11/2020 08:08

Morning ladies

Sorry I've been quiet lately. Been so busy at work! Hope you're all doing well.
I'm currently 9DPO. No symptoms for me so I'm not hopeful. Had some occasional stomach pains but tend to always have them each month leading up to af.
I have my "7 day before af" blood test later today. Hoping that goes smoothly. Have also booked my day 3-5 blood test for next Monday as I think af will arrive later this week. DH has been given a form for a full blood work up and SA. He's booked in for next Monday bloods but SA is pretty booked up so looking like mid to late Nov. At least the ball is rolling. Hoping nothing gets cancelled due to COVID. Anyone know if we are supposed to cancel "non essential" treatments? Because I don't want the hospital to tell me I'm wasting their time. I kinda feel this way a lot atm. That's why I was worried to go to the doctor in the 1st place. For me it's essential but I know there are people out there in more need of medical treatment :/

Good luck at your appointment today @Fizzl I'll be thinking of you

@Annny27 glad your ultrasound went well last week. Welcome to TWW

@ELM7 sorry AF arrived for you 😔

@Babyghirl glad it sounds like the worst is over for you 💖

Annny27 · 02/11/2020 08:43

@Nuggetlover27 good luck for the bloods! And no, definitely not wasting anyones time. The gynecologist fertility specialist is hardly going to be incubating Covid patients so you arent taking away anyones more seripus medical need. They miiiight decide to cancel non urgent appointments but thats more to do with reducing the number of people that mix and not a case that your appointment was taking up a doctors valuable time.

Infertility is a medical issues and feel no shame with taking up medical professional time to deal with it 🥰🥰

@Babyghirl yea it sounds like its coming to an end now for you. Fingers crossed! Hope themidwife can book you in for a scan as that would.certainly calm my nerves

Morning Ladies. How is it Monday again already!

Hope all goes well at your scan @Fizzl will be thinking of you.

@Nuggetlover27 based on what Boris said on Saturday they aren’t meant to be cancelling any routine appointments so hopefully they won’t and no def not wasting anyone’s time.

Babyghirl · 02/11/2020 09:44

@nuggetlover27
I hoping the worst is over, I don't think they will be cancelling any thing fertility related as they said they wanted these appointments up and running again as they said this field was essential. And your deffo not wasting anyone's time. You need these app for your own piece off mind and mental state xx
@Annny27
Hopefully midwife will be phoning me soon and I can get booked in for sometime this week I think they do do scans to make sure everything is gone would ease my mind to know if everything is gone and help me relax, then just to wait on my fertility consultant appointment coming through. 💚🍀

Babyghirl · 02/11/2020 09:48

I'm still tired and drained but think that is just to do with the blood loss over the weekend and the emotional end off things. But other than that I feel OK, think it's cause I knw that I'm now going to get in depth investigation in to why this keeps happening and hopefully get help on my next pregnancy.

Fizzl · 02/11/2020 13:41

Thanks everyone. I don't really have much to update sadly. They could see a sac and yolk but no heartbeat yet. They've said I'm measuring around 5 and a half weeks whereas I thought I'd be 6.1. They've said it's all normal at this stage and what they can see looked all as it should. So I've not had any bad news, just not as great as we'd hoped for. I saw a heartbeat at exactly 6 weeks with my last pregnancy so a bit gutted we didn't get that today for that extra bit of reassurance.

I'm still waiting round at the hospital now whilst they decide what to do about my injections. There's a bit of uncertainty as really they needed to see a heartbeat but they've confirmed the pregnancy is in the womb at least so they're trying to speak with the consultant. They want to scan me again in 2 weeks, I've tried pushing for a scan in 1 week if I can't start the injections before heartbeat is seen but they've told me it could be an inconclusive scan still at that point and we need to give it more time 🤷🏼‍♀️. Sooo I'm hoping the consultant makes a decision what to do as I'm worried if we wait 2 weeks it will be too long before starting the injections.

SunnySideUp2020 · 02/11/2020 14:10

@Fizzl
It's good that they could see the yolk sac and fetal pole. It is so tiny at this stage and picking up a flicker is hard.
Also if you implanted late your dates might be a bit behind and it's all normal.
I am sure in two weeks it will be all well. It was missing a couple of days for a fetal pole with a flicker.
That being said it will probably feel like the longest two weeks.
Could you book a private scan in a weeks time?

Babyghirl · 02/11/2020 14:24

@fizzl
Still really early to c a heart beat but great news they seen everything else that needed to be there. Hopefully they start the injections for u girl and don't leave u stressing to much. Your only measuring a few days out from what you thought which is normal I was measureing 8 days out so some difference to wat I thought xx

Annny27 · 02/11/2020 14:44

@fizzl you had really faint tests at 12dpo so I think you implanted late which totally measures up to what you saw today 🥰🥰

I would deffo be getting a private scan next week though as there's no way I could wait 2 weeks haha!

OP posts:
27DONFIN · 02/11/2020 15:05

@Fizzl that’s great news everything was as should be for this stage. Id be all over a private scan I couldn’t wait 2 weeks either. Hope you aren’t waiting around in the hospital too long xx

Fizzl · 02/11/2020 16:03

Thanks everyone. I know this is why they say no early scans - it causes so much stress and worry, hopefully all unnecessary! If it wasn't for the fact I've had to have one this early I'd definitely be more inclined to wait until at least 7 weeks.

They've confirmed I can start the injections so that's one weight off my mind for now. To be honest that was my biggest worry and why I wanted a scan in a weeks time if it meant I couldn't start the injections. Now I know I can I don't know whether to book a private scan or not! It had crossed my mind already but then part of me thinks it might just cause extra worry if there's a chance it could still be inconclusive 😬 what to do... these next two weeks are going to be horrendous! Plus my experience with private scans has only been bad news, kind of puts me off wanting to go back!

@Annny27 ah yes you're right. I'm fairly sure I ovulated on the sun night/mon morning but if I didn't implant until the following wed/thur that would make my dates about right. Does the date of implantation affect the dates?! I'd never really thought about it (strangely for me!) but I guess it does. How are you doing? Are you officially in the tww now?

TerribleImagination · 02/11/2020 18:13

That’s great news they’ve seen the yolk sac and fetal pole @Fizzl! I know it’s impossible not to be anxious when you wanted to see that all important heartbeat, but at 5.5 that’s bang on for what they’d expect to see, so try and focus on that if you can. At my first private scan I thought I was 8 weeks, but they put me at 7+3, so don’t worry about that ❤️ Good news about the injections! Keeping everything crossed for you and your rainbow lovey 🌈
