Hi everyone,

Setting up the new thread for us - we have come a long way since January and sadly a few of us are still on the "journey". Let's hope we arent here for much longer. Wishing us all baby dust (although its been so long I am not sure dust will do it for me - maybe will have to up the particle size to "baby sand" )

Ttc ladies:
@Fizzl
@Nuggetlover27
@ELM7
@Ljm0101
@Abi0795
@Babyghirl

And our recent bfps who i know like to check in :)

Hi @Annny27, she asked me to do a pregnancy test and it was negative. She said the baby has definitely come away and could have gone under the bend in the toilet when I managed to catch the clot. She said I'm still getting contraction pains as there is most likely still some tissue trying to come away. She hopes it will all come away with my next period then I'm safe to try again. If I track ovulation and get a peak then I can judge roughly 2 weeks after that to expect a period as I have no idea of cycle length. I had the Mirena coil in for 9 years and didn't bleed then fell pregnant first cycle after it was removed. x

Babyghirl · 28/10/2020 09:58

@Annny27
I just want the process to be over with now so I can start trying again, or I might hold off to my fertility specialist sees me if it won't take to long really don't want to go through this again if I can stop it. In myself I'm doing OK I'm getting cramps more now so I think things r starting to move along.
@Iloveoreos
Sorry you find yourself on this board but just know we our here for you and you r not alone this board has helped me so much, I'm now in the middle of going through my 3rd miscarriage 4 if you include the Cp I had but unfortunately your doc does not count that as I miscarriage so I'm down has having just 3. After every loss it has took me a year to fall again so been a long drawn out 3 years off ttc and losing. I'm now been handed back to my fertility specialist for more indeapth investigations so hoping I can get some answers to why this keeps happening. Vent or cry when you need to we r here to help 💚🍀

Babyghirl · 28/10/2020 10:34

@ejay84
Has anything happened for you yet I'm still sitting here waiting on nature to do what it has to do just want things to move along nw for it to be over. I'm going to phone my fertility consultant tomorrow to c if he has had my referral through to hopefully move it along and I will be up on the list because it's been 3 miscarriages now. Hope your doing OK and being easy on yourself.

27DONFIN · 28/10/2020 10:44

@Annny27 that’s great news your ultrasound went well all positive news. I know sometimes you think having a problem is easier to process than unexplained.

Kamacs12 · 28/10/2020 14:56

@Iloveoreos (I do too). Welcome to the club no one wants to be part of ❤️ When I had my miscarriage the person who did the scan confirmed they didn’t think I have PCOS because they couldn’t see anything in my uterus/tubes, so if you can afford it and you’re worried you could always get a private scan to check for fertility issues.

@Babyghirl how are you doing?

Kamacs12 · 28/10/2020 15:01

@Annny27 that’s really cool that they can tell you that from a scan, good luck! 😊

@EJay84 I had the copper coil and I conceived 4 days after having it removed. I’m hoping that it was the effect of having a coil for so long (I had mine for 9 years), that caused the miscarriage. I’m so terrified of this happening again, it puts me off wanting to try. I’m sorry you’re also going through this. X

Has anyone seen Chrissy Teigan’s post on social media? It made me cry. I am so pleased that someone so famous has spoken so candidly about pregnancy loss. I know it happens so often, but this is probably one of the most isolated I’ve ever felt in my life. Seeing her photos and reading her essay has really helped me, if you haven’t seen it I really recommend it.

Babyghirl · 28/10/2020 15:13

@kamacs12
Doing OK I know I will get there like I did the last two times only thing this time is I know I'm going to be investigated more that's the only thing has me motoring on or I think I would off well give up by now. So going to hold off on trying until I hopefully get some answers as I don't think I could go through a 4th loss that would just be the end off me. How r you doing xx

Kamacs12 · 28/10/2020 16:17

@Babyghirl I’m so glad you’re going to get more help, and I really hope it turns out to be something simple like needing hormone tablets. I think it’s pretty awful the NHS make you wait for 3 miscarriages to help. I understand it’s a cost thing, but I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. I cannot begin to imagine what you’re going through and I have all my fingers crossed for you that they give you some answers xx

I’m okay. I got married on 26th Sept and this has hit us particularly hard because we feel we should be so happy at the fact we’re married... I feel so deflated. I think I’m still quite numb to it, I started crying earlier because my partner said I was very angry with everything and I hadn’t really realised I was until he said it.

A few people we’ve told have said “well at least you know you can get pregnant” or “you’re lucky you got pregnant so quickly, for many women that’s half the battle”. We conceived very quickly which I know is fortunate, but it doesn’t make me lucky... I don’t think there is anything lucky about this situation. My honeymoon bliss with my husband has been stolen from me, and I feel so sad and lost for my tiny baby.

Sorry for the rant... having a bad day 😞

Babyghirl · 28/10/2020 16:29

@kamacs12
Be easy on yourself it's tough, I hate when people say at least you know you can get pregnant well that does not help if I can't stay pregnant and it's norm the ones that's never been through a loss that says the stupid stuff. I'm a hate the world to after all my losses hate seeing pregnant women and new borns kills me, I know a girl who has had 7 kids and she keeps them for a few months after they r born then r taking off her and put up for adoption I'm like why hand her them so easy and make it difficult for women desperate to have a baby. I know one day I will get my rainbow baby just like all us ladies we just got to be strong hang on in there and keep reaching for r dreams everyday we get a step closer to them 💚🍀

27DONFIN · 29/10/2020 11:18

Not looking great for me again this month. Had my smear yesterday and said I was trying and on my tww the nurse asked if I had any symptoms of pregnancy I said no (my period isn’t due till Monday so I thought still early for signs) she went ahead with the smear and was having problems finding my cervix which I know to others would be hopeful as then it might be high but my cervix is titled as soon as I told her that she found it no problem. I then asked her for a couple of things I needed for my OH sample form practice code etc when I left she said good luck with trying and the tests. I had got my hopes up that she’d tell me my cervix was closed ( a friend had found out she was pregnant at her smear) I got in the car and just burst out crying. Got my big swollen boobs today had the worst rage this morning which lead to a domestic with my OH. So it’s safe to say AF is on her way again. How’s everyone else doing? X

Annny27 · 29/10/2020 12:09

Afternoon ladies 🥰 ovulating today or tomorrow- OPKS peaked yesterday (the only day I started doing them!)

@27DONFIN sorry that you think AF is on the way :( I dont think it absolutely means you are out as the nurse may not have been able to tell what your cervix was like if it was hard to view. Will keep my fingers crossed!

I also have a tilted uterus so sometimes my cervix is a bit hard to find.....I wonder if thats why the sperm also struggle to find it 🙈🤪

@EJay84 oh! That's good news the pregnancy test is negative :) I ovulated about 3/4 weeks after my miscarriage ended and my period arrived after about 5/6 weeks

@kamacs12 oh definitely people can leave the "at leasts" behind....my baby was due in June and when June came around a family member had the cheek to say to me "oh well atleast you arent giving birth during covid!"

Yes.....having a miscarriage is a much more fun option 🙄🙄

@babyghirl yes once you know you just want it to happen! Such a painful time :( whene your appointments with your fertility consultant/ nurse?

Babyghirl · 29/10/2020 12:27

@27DONFIN
Not out yet I went for a byopsy and I done a test that nite and it was positive, so not even the gynaecologist was able to tell me I was pregnant.
@Annny27
Your right just want it over and done with tbh no app yet but hoping it's not to much off a weight I'm surprised the fertility consultant has not sent me for a d&c for it to be tested. But will phone nxt week and c how long we should be waiting for an app. 💚🍀

27DONFIN · 29/10/2020 13:24

@Annny27 @Babyghirl thanks ladies.

@Annny27 haha as soon as someone told me I was titled I googled to check what it meant lol even though everything online says it doesn’t affect fertility I’m not for believing them lol

Babyghirl · 29/10/2020 13:42

@27DONFIN
I have a tilted uterus as well and just found out 3 weeks ago I have a heart shape womb aswell fs they would be aswell rubbing me out and drawing me again lol 😂😂😂😂😂

27DONFIN · 29/10/2020 13:47

@Babyghirl 😂😂😂 I’ve never heard of that before. Can that cause problems?

Babyghirl · 29/10/2020 13:53

@27DONFIN
I have read it can cause problems but read a lot of success stories to, the day they done the scan and told me my dp was sitting there and I looked at him and said c now you say I have not got a heart nw I have two 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 but hoping the fertility consultant tells me it's all good tbh

Annny27 · 29/10/2020 17:39

My dad just called and during the conversation saying "are you gonna start trying again for a baby after the miscarriage"

🤪🤪🤪 little do they know its been 10/11 months of trying haha!!! I had to just say "maybe next year" and stopped the conversation as I actually can't bear to talk about it in real life!

@27DONFIN yeah its totally common to have a tilted uterus. No difference in conception rates but apparently (tmi sorry) that spoon and doggy positions are best for the sperm to reach the cervix if your uterus is tilted 🤣🤣

@babyghirl my friend (who has 2 kids) has a heart shaped uterus :)

Babyghirl · 30/10/2020 12:21

Well things r moving girls just went to the toilet there and I'm bleeding red say a prayer for me because after the first experience ending up in hospital with bleeding out I'm shitting myself and hoping it's over with quickly girls I'm a scared to go to the toilet cause I knw and hate the feeling off passing clots but it has to be done xx

27DONFIN · 30/10/2020 12:59

@Babyghirl awww I really hope it’s over quickly for you and no hospital visits this time. I understand the toilet thing I think I broke down each time I went to the toilet. I hope you aren’t in too much pain xx

Babyghirl · 30/10/2020 13:15

@27DONFIN

ELM7 · 30/10/2020 14:21

Hi Ladies.

Sorry been quiet as was working on the relaxed approach although failed miserably as spent the last 2 weeks massively symptom spotting (which normally im not too bad at doing)

Well anyway all symptoms were actually nothing as CD1 here! It’s a year ago today that I had the surgery for the MC. So I POAS this morning hoping to see a BFP to make this date a positive date and before I had a phone call with the Drs but obv a BFN. Then later this morning AF arrived so a completely wasted test. Why is it that POAS seems to bring on AFs arrival?! 🤦🏼‍♀️

So have now spoken to Dr who has booked me in for 21 day bloods (although has warned a good chance will be cancelled as routine blood tests are being cancelled due to Covid) but is referring me anyway but again no idea on timescales for referrals because of covid!

Whilst on the phone I completely ambushed DH as Dr asked if he was also registered with the same surgery so she spoke to him to get permission to organise SA - dont think he was expecting that yet 😂

@Babyghirl I really hope it’s over quickly for you. Look after yourself.

@Kamacs12 I struggle to not smack people in the face when they go down the “at least” line. Like @Annny27 I also had a few comments with the “at least you didn’t have twins in lockdown” somehow I’m sure we would of coped! 🤬

@27DONFIN hope AF hasn’t made its arrival for you. I’ve got the joys of my smear test this month. Us ladies get all the glamour!

@Annny27 really hope this TWW goes quickly for you with a BFP at the end.

Babyghirl · 30/10/2020 14:28

@ELM7
Thank you I think when u know its over u, you just want everything to happen and be over with only thing keeping me going is I have an app coming up with the fertility consultant and hopefully after 3 miscarriages I can get answers and hopefully 4th time lucky but won't be trying again until I get some answers as I don't think I could go through this again once is enough for anyone let alone 3 times xxx

SunnySideUp2020 · 30/10/2020 16:18

Hello ladies
Just catching up. Been a bit MN lazy since wedding on Sunday 😄

@Fizzl hope your scan goes well on Monday and really great that your DP can come along!

@Annny27 good news on the scan! If they were confident you should conceive then i am sure it will happen! Will have everything crossed for you this cycle 😇

@ELM7 sorry AF is here again. But definitely get the ball rolling with tests. I always recommend after we got ours done and were able to improve. Or at least felt like we were able to do something...

Jadem83 · 30/10/2020 21:41

Hi ladies hope you don’t mind if I join you all. I’m currently ttc after a mmc of twins at 12 in April and cp in August . I am truly blessed already to have 4dc and the twins were a bit of a Pleasant surprise but Loosing them made me realise just how much I would love one last rainbow . I’ve just recently turned 37 and I feel my body clock ticking a little with every unsuccessful cycle , especially as their due date approaches in the coming days . It’s been a tough few weeks knowing that they would have been born already but still clinging on to hope 🤞🏼🙏 . Currently on cd 15 and looking for others to share the journey with . Congratulations to those who already have a lovely bfp and best wishes to you all for a healthy happy 9 months 🌈💕 , also sending lots of baby dust to those still waiting alongside me .x
