Setting up the new thread for us - we have come a long way since January and sadly a few of us are still on the "journey". Let's hope we arent here for much longer. Wishing us all baby dust (although its been so long I am not sure dust will do it for me - maybe will have to up the particle size to "baby sand" )

Judging from your progesterone levels that you had done, I would say that you need a boost and that if you had extra progesterone, your next pregnancy will be successful!

@Nuggetlover27 yeah thats tricky! For the cycle when I needed my 7dpo/day 21 bloods I made sure I used opks to sort of track when it would be. Judging from when my period arrived it looked as if I was about 8 or9 dpo when I actually had them

@ejay84 have things progressed? I had natural management, then the misoprostol or whatever its called and then had to have the d&c and it was a long wait but nothing compared to yours!

Hi @Annny27, still hanging on.It was my Birthday yesterday and hubby surprised me with an overnight tonight. I can't believe I'm doing this but I've had to bring my mini fridge with me so that if it happens while I'm away, I can keep the remains until tomorrow so I can still have them cremated. I'm a nervous wreck about leaving home for the night but that's been a month of hanging around. I can't live like this much longer x

@Annny27 CD 19 for me. Iv got my smear test on Wednesday. I’m dreading it cause I’ll have less than a week to go by then and I’m guessing they’ll be able to tell if I’m pregnant if my cervix is closed or not. Or am I wrong would it not be closed as soon as that? Or should I rearrange it Incase? X

See your in limbo to off when things r going to happen. I'm hoping I'm not waiting to long for things to happen just want it over and done with going to have a hot bath that helped things along the first time. 💚🍀

@Annny27 and @Babyghirl no major symptoms yet I don't think! My boobs are really sore and feel quite bruised but that's the only major tell tale sign at the mo. I occasionally get some mild pinching sensations but that seems to have eased off a little and nausea has gone. The only other thing I've been having is night sweats! (Lovely!) Of course I keep freaking out that I'm over heating and my temp is getting too high as my temp is consistently on the hot side now about 37.2 before getting hot and sweaty. Always something to worry about! I have just realised tho that the mattress protector we use is normally under our mattress topper but when we washed them last week we've clearly put them back on the wrong way round so I don't think that is helping as it's so plasticky. I'm going to switch them back today but still worrying that I've been overheating at night for the past week 😕

@27DONFIN I don't think they will be able to tell that early in pregnancy (I could be wrong tho!). It will be fine I'm sure, better to get it done. I desperately wanted mine doing last month as it's due Nov. They refused and said earliest I could book in was end of oct - I've had to cancel this appointment now and mine will be a year overdue (all being well with this pregnancy)

@Babyghirl and @EJay84 I hope things are over for you both quickly and you can get some answers 💐

I'm still waiting for the hospital to decide what they're doing with me. I've been given some mixed messages so waiting for the consultant to hopefully ring me next week. They've provisionally booked my early scan for when I'll be 7.5 weeks and I've pointed out the letter states I will need injections from 6 weeks so I think this is too late. I've only spoken to the consultants secretary though and she has to relay things back to the consultant so it's been a bit of a nightmare so far!

Ladies looking for info on seamen samples? Our Gp has said my OH sample kit is ready to collect and I’m sure he will be given instructions tomorrow on the process. But we are off a couple of days and can hand his sample into the hospital on Tuesday. Can anyone tell us the rules to follow ie I read online before the sample no ejaculation for 3-4 days is this right? Just don’t want to do anything to muck up getting a sample done in the next couple of days

We went to the hospital got it done we where told no ejaculation for 48 hours as they don't like sperm hanging around for to long in a man as it can cause them to be bad to. And I think it has to be handed in within an hour of the sample being done I think as we where in the hospital and handed straight in to the lab when finished xx

So if you had sex last nite refrain from having it again do sample on Tuesday morning. But if you have not had sex in a day or 2 have it tonite for sample to be done on Wed if u get me x

@27DONFIN I don't know if it's the same process where you are but when dh collected his kit he was given details of the dept he needed to contact at the hospital to make an appointment to drop it off. They didn't have any appointments for a while and we couldn't just turn up as they needed to make sure someone is available to test it within an hour. But in re to what you should do that's right - ours said to not go longer than a week but not to have ejaculated for at least 2 days prior to sample.

Hope that makes sense. Good luck, it was quite comical for us! Luckily it went fine and my husbands worries about the pot leaking or him tripping and dropping it thankfully didn't happen 😂

@Babyghirl @Fizzl thanks ladies. Hoping we don’t need an appointment to hand the sample in found out the lab at our hospital is only open 9-2 so restrictive especially as my partner works 25 miles from our home which is where our hospital is.

@Fizzl @Annny27 I decided to try and listen to my body in the end and when I thought ov may be happening I poas just once to confirm there was second line. Not sure if that was the best thing to do but since my cycles are irregular lately and it was too late for me to start tracking properly it's the best I could do without wasting another cycle.
I think ov was Saturday and my blood test is booked for Thursday , ideally I would have got Friday or Saturday but you have to book over a week in advance (which makes my situation more impossible!) and by the time Saturday came and I thought "it's today" the earliest time I could change the appointment to was Monday which may be too late as LP has been around 12days lately.

Hope you hear from the consultant soon @Fizzl. Sounds like they're causing you some extra stress. Easier said than done but try not to worry too much. I'm hoping so hard that this is your rainbow 😘

@27DONFIN I think I'm only a couple days into TWW so not started symptom spotting (YET! Haha). How are you getting on? Any symptoms? Good luck on your smear test. I'm sure you will be okay. Just mention to the nurse your situation and they will know what's best to do for you 🙂

I have EWCM today at cd9 so I think its a slightly early ovulation expected for me maybe on cd12 I think. Could be wrong haha!

I have my ultrasound on Wednesday so they will be able to tell me if a little follicle is brewing!

@fizzl that is quite stressful that you arent getting the expected care! I would definitley keep calling and maybe speak to the GP and express your concerns about the blood thinning stuff!

@nuggetlover27 I ovulated on the Saturday and then had my bloods done on 9dpo the following Monday e.g. 9 days later! I was told as close to 7dpo as possible whether that is 6dpo on the Friday or 9dpo on the Monday! So might be worth calling the GP to try and rearrange if possible :)

@27DONFIN ahh I am not sure about the smear. I am fairly sure your cervix is closed in your tww but I have no idea! I would tell them you may be pregnant and they can advise :)

@Annny27 it's so frustrating that I can't speak to a doctor at the moment. I have changed my appointment for Monday now so that should be 9DPO Although only 3 days until AF. I hope that this is okay! I hate not knowing what to do

@Annny27 No, nothing yet. I've to EPAU tomorrow morning and they'll make a plan from there. Fingers crossed the end is in sight. x

@Nuggetlover27 I’m half way Af due a week today. Trying not to symptom spot but Saturday night Sunday morning I had the rage and don’t know why. Honestly so angry and in the worst mood too early for pmt but it was worse than pmt. Iv had bloods done to check I was ovulating they said roughly 7 days before my period was due they needed to be done worked out it ended up being 5 days before but the results still came back I was.

@Babyghirl @Fizzl my OH got his kit today had to call to make an appointment to drop it off Thursday before he can get one

@Nuggetlover27 I think so long as they know what day post ov you were they can make sure your levels are within normal for that time so it should be fine.

@Annny27 that's good time for your scan! It will be good to know if your about to ovulate!

The hospital appointments are now all sorted. I spoke with my GP this morning and he was on it straight away. I actually felt bad for the consultants secretary who seemed to get a bit of a stern word from him about it causing me extreme anxiety and he needed to know the protocol (which I never said it had, think he was just laying it on as he was also of the opinion I should be seen at 6 weeks). Anyway the consultant rang me back (think she probably thought we've got one here!) and she was really lovely and has changed my appointment to Monday when I'll hopefully be just over 6 weeks 😬 and then I have an appointment straight after with the nurse for the injections all being well with the scan. Added bonus my husband can come with me too, I thought I'd have to go alone which made me a bit nervous! I've also been given my booking in appointment with the midwife for 19th Nov.

All starting to feel a bit more real now even though it's still such early days. I've also just told my mum. That was weird as I didn't know how to say it as I didn't feel able to do a big 'great news!' Kind of announcement so as I was leaving I just said oh I've got some news and tried to play it down - she still cried tho bless her. It's a shame that I kind of feel robbed of that 'big' happy moment of sharing the exciting news but I daren't get too excited yet.

Hi ladies can i join. @champoopapi told me about this thread. I tested postive on 11dpo (1st preg) and ended up with chemical at 15dpo . Was ttc for about 3 4 months. I have hypothyroidism and possible pcos with hardly any signs other than long cycles between 33 40 days

I had my ultrasound this morning. She said my follicle is ready to release an egg any time soon :D just did an OPK and its nearly positive so thats cool how they can see that :)

After looking at my blood tests, ultrasound, and sperm analysis she said there's no reason why we wouldn't have conceived.......which is good but also frustrating haha!
They want us to try for 4 months more and then have another appointment to discuss next options.

She said to have sex tonight to try and catch the egg! Haha

@iloveoreos welcome to the club :( hopefully you conceive soon! I conceived my first pregnancy after 4 months (miscarried) but am now on month 10 with no luck yet!

@fizzl thats great news that your appointments are sorted now! It shows that you have to be in charge of your own health doesnt it as sometimes things slip through! Awwh I am sure your mum was delighted 🥰🥰🥰

@27DONFIN I sometimes get very rage and angry before my period....blame the progesterone haha!

@Nuggetlover27 9dpo should be good! And it the results aren't great then they will redo them and rhen hopefully 7dpo won't fall on a Saturday that month!
