Our first month ttc our first

As soon as AF disappears, which will be soon 🤞 me & my partner will be ttc :)
I've been keeping an eye on my cycles for a little while using the flo app & have been taking pregnacare.
Is there anything else we should know or do to help prepare ourselves? :)
Exited to go on this roller coaster of a journey & as no one knows of our plans would be lovely to hear off people ttc too :) xx

@rosiej95 exactly!! It would be great. The TWW is the worst. Before I was trying I felt like my periods came around so quickly.

This month is my first month of taking vitamins so it would be great to see how they/if they do anything x

I've been taking mine for around 3 months wish they would taste a little better but suppose if they do the job the taste doesn't matter 😂

Im on 5dpo & because it's our first month I haven't even a clue what to expect. Ive fainted twice now as well so wondering if that's a sign I originally thought it would be to early for things like that?
Hopefully AF stays away from us both! xx

Definitely agree there should be some sort of conception detection test!! It would cut out so much of the stress.

I'm 4DPO today, it really does feel like it's dragging! Got really sore nipples, but I've had that post ov the last two cycles so not getting my hopes up based on that just yet.

I have family staying this weekend so I'm hoping that takes my mind off things for a bit!

I'm ttc no.1, 3rd cycle (hopefully 3rd time lucky ?!)
This month I have so many strategies in play I feel like I should be a coach for a sports team.. i literally have a list with timings and everything

After two months just DTD every day of FW with no BFP, this month I am using:

• SMEP
• Pregnacare for me and DH
• OPK (CB advanced)
• Evening Primrose oil for me
• inserting softcups after DTD
• Preseed
• Fertility massages regularly (every day of Follicular stage when I remember)
• Castor oil packs
• Pomegranate juice and grapefruit juice
• Omega 3
• D3
• Fertility tea

Also planning:

• mucinex during FW
• Progesterone cream after ov
• Bromelain and Brazil nuts after ov
• massive hydration push (lemon water)
• meditation to relax

In a way having all those strategies makes me feel a bit more relaxed about it all tbh, maybe i am just a control freak lol.
Only time will tell whether they actually do anything tho!

My app is pretty confident I O'd on CD33 which would explain all the negative OPKs around days 17-20 when I should of O'd based on last two cycles (How bloody annoying!) so AF due next Friday

Folic acid.
Clear blue digital ovulation - I started out using my flo app and it wasn’t working. Once I started using the clear blue test (used to wee on it first thing) I realised my app was predicting ovulation several days too early. Got pregnant second month of using them.

@maudesid AF is due in 8 days for me so a while left before I can test. I think I'm going to try (which means I probably won't) and wait to see if AF comes or not.

@peachypetite flo has me wrong for ovulation too!! I only started OPKs this month so didn't know i was so off!

I think if it hasn't worked this month I think I might try them. I've got the flo app too
I dtd 2 days before it told me i was ovulating & then on the day of so hopefully Ive covered if it was a couple of days before or after 🤞

@maudesid my app is saying I have another 10 days until AF I'm hoping to hold out until then 😂
I'm quite an impatient person tho so we shall see ha!
Ahh like you say that's annoying but at least you have an idea for next cycle? :D

Yeh mine was 5/6 days off so I’m glad I didn’t wait too long. The clear blue were fab and worth the extra money. Easy to decipher.

@maudesid I've actually told quite a few people 🙈 unintentionally but because our plans changed when our wedding postponed I felt like I had to talk it through.

5 of my closest friends know, my mum, sister in law.. oh.. and hairdresser 😂 and my fiancé of course 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi, something I haven’t seen mentioned is the use of a menstrual cup or disc which is what I like to do after dtd.

So after dtd I like to insert a menstrual cup of disc straight away this keeps a lot of the sperm inside and gives them only one way to travel, to the cervix .
