Our first month ttc our first

As soon as AF disappears, which will be soon 🤞 me & my partner will be ttc :)
I've been keeping an eye on my cycles for a little while using the flo app & have been taking pregnacare.
Is there anything else we should know or do to help prepare ourselves? :)
Exited to go on this roller coaster of a journey & as no one knows of our plans would be lovely to hear off people ttc too :) xx

Still no sign of AF here either! Had some very slight cramping this morning but nothing like AF cramps yet. Did a test a few days ago and got BFN so I'm sure it'll be here soon! Just want to be able to start the next cycle now 🤷‍♀️

The one time AF plays tricks on my body she chooses the first month of ttc 🙈

I'm sure it'll be on its way tho cause I feel a little crampy xxx

@rosiej95 ah I'm sorry 😞 Fingers crossed for next month 🤞 STILL no AF yet here... but another BFN this morning and had some awful cramps yesterday too, so I'm sure it won't be long 🙄 just want it to arrive so we can start on the next cycle!

AF is on her way, exactly 3 weeks after my implant came out. Massive cramps and bloating, I'd forgotten how horrible periods are 😂 at least I'll have a period date now 👍🏼

@DNpink82 ha I was the same coming off the pill! AF symptoms are horrible tbh.
At least you can cycle track now tho 😊

@rosiej95 still no AF and still no BFP 🙄 I've been quite stressed this month so I'm sure that's what's delaying it, but its not helpful!! How are you getting on?

Any news?
CD 14 no sign of ovulation, starting to get a bit anxious about it all now. I've been off the pill 6 months and things still don't feel 'normal' cycles between 32 and 45 days light bleeding for AF when I have endometriosis and used to have 10 day long heavy periods. Don't get me wrong that wasn't enjoyable but this doesn't feel normal!

@maudesid It took me ages for my cycles to get in a routine after coming off the pill.
There could still be chance for ovulation to happen? 🤞

AF is slowly going now & hopefully takes the spots she so kindly brought with her away too 🙈😂

Been super MIA (been away and just tried to chill the eff out!)

Today is cycle day 11 of cycle 3 of TTC. Did a LH test this morning which was low as expected as still quite early.

DTD last night and going to try and do SMEP this month.

Well I finally got a positive OPK Sunday (first time I've succeeded with those!) and confirmed ovulation today CD21 and yet couldn't DTD as DH having a bad time with work.
I did have a cry and feeling like it will never happen but at least I now know I ovulate!

This is my first month TTC #1... we had an impromptu trip with friends this weekend, forgot my ovulation sticks and there was no time or way for us to DTD.. we didn’t get back until Sunday night.. I was so annoyed thinking we must’ve missed it for this month.. but tested about 8pm Sunday evening and got the smiley face on clear blue digital ovulation stick... we DTD... but think that was the very end of my fertile period... so we will have to see! Now in the 2ww but don’t feel we’ve given it a proper shot this month as life does just get in the way! It happens!! So try not to stress yourself out about it.. there’s always next month... :) how long have you been trying for? Xx

Hi, hope it's okay to post. Great hearing everyone's stories and everyone being supportive! This is our first month ttc. I just came off the implant then had my period a week later which was due. I haven't done any testing for ovulation this month as was very unlikely anything would happen with my body getting back to normal so I have only downloaded an app and input my cycles and period dates which has estimated ovulation. Pretty regular sex throughout and just past my tww according to the dates on the app. I will be 3 days late tomorrow. I have done a cheap pregnancy test 2 days in a row. First was very faint and today's was darker. I will by first response tomorrow morning and test again. This is the picture of today's one.

@RLou3 I came off the pill in February and this is our second cycle trying although the first month I've managed to get a positive OPK and know when I was ovulating so really gutted we didn't dtd and are out for this month.
@Ducky96 that certainly looks like a faint line, looks like you may have been lucky first cycle! Fingers crossed for you!

Hey @RLou3 I go roughly off an app for my predicted ovulation I know there not accurate, it's saying it's in 4 days been DTD every couple of days but were trying to take the relaxed approach

@rosiej95 I got a bfp this morning. Going by the date of my last period I'm 4 weeks and 1 day. Called gp this morning and got a call with the midwife next tuesday!! We are over the moon and can't believe it's happened so fast

@rosiej95 sadly not for about a week so definitely out this month. Oh well nothing that can be done now so will have to go for it next month and at least I now actually know that I ovulate!

@maudesid I totally get your annoyance! I at least got to do it once in my fertile window and I’m still really annoyed about that! It’s just such a draining process - I’m not enjoying any second of it! Just constantly worried how long it’s going to take us etc etc etc... Although I am a MASSIVE worrier so I obviously don’t speak for everyone! I’m just really not enjoying this.. all those years of desperately not wanting to miss a period and now I’m desperate to not have one 😂😂

for some reason I had a really good feeling about you!! Maybe this is going to be your month!! Wish I could be relaxed - I can’t.. I just want everything immediately.. I can’t relax! I’m such a nightmare - I know it but I can’t help it! I hate not being able to control what’s happening!

Thank you so much. I'm still in shock. We spent the whole night after oh got home from work talking about it. While he drank let's just say a few beers!! Haha.
