Hi @Angelchops30 I can relate! I spent most of my 20s terrified that I would get pregnant and then my early 30s terrified that I wouldn’t! Hope we won’t have to wait too long Smile

Hocuspocusandfairies · 31/07/2020 19:01

Angelchops, I haven't heard of that. What is it and where do you get it from? I'm willing to try anything. The fertility doctor queried polycystic ovaries but never fully confirmed it. My cycles are never the same amount of days. My most regular cycles tend to be in the late 30s early 40s.

kwastell · 31/07/2020 19:19

@Highlandmama I think about that all the time. I used to buy this pregnancy tests panicking that I was pregnant. Now I buy pregnancy tests panicking I'm not pregnant.

Sleeeeeepy · 31/07/2020 19:29

Welcome new ladies to the thread 😊

I'd like to say I held out and didn't test but I did a cheapie last night at 7dpo, totally pointless but I just could not resist. Not going to test today but will try one tomorrow on 9dpo. No symptoms and only dtd once so not fancying my chances, still AF due on Tuesday so not long til the next try.

@Angelchops30 were you having periods on depo? I didn't have any when I was on them and they took ages to come back. I guess if you had them then they should come back soon, only time you'll be happy to see AF!

Had a lovely day off today and went to a posh lunch with DH. Work has been super stressful and might be about to get worse so much needed. What are you all up to at the weekend?

EJay84 · 31/07/2020 20:17

How's everyone doing? Anyone in 2 WW? I'm CD16, Ov CD14 and have DTD the past 7 days in a row lol. Fingers crossed we caught a wee egg x

claireb707 · 31/07/2020 21:28

I'm 5dpo now, partner had his SA done this morning.

LT103 · 31/07/2020 21:36

@EJay84 I’m 9 dpo. Started spotting this morning. Was jut the once and nothing since but this usually means af will be here in a few days. Will poas tomorrow morning anyway just in case 😂

EJay84 · 31/07/2020 21:53

@claireb707 and @LT103 best of luck ladies. I'm going to test from 9DPO onwards I think. Obsessing over watching 9DPO BFP videos on YouTube tonight lol. I have a BBQ next Fri at 9DPO and don't wanna have any alcohol if I have the slightest inclination I might be PG x

Semele5069 · 31/07/2020 22:59

Oh FFS, just went to the loo and noticed a faint bit of spotting. 9DPO here and was expecting my period this weekend-looks like its coming. Cycle 11 of TTC overall and cycle 3 since MC. Getting so sick of this. I do everything right every bloody month!

Sleeeeeepy · 01/08/2020 08:06

Bfn here on a cheapie at 9dpo. Feel a little bit crampy which figures since AF due Tuesday. Oh well!

@Hocuspocusandfairies myo inositol is a supplement that helps regulate ovulation and it's also supposed to boost fertility by quite abit. I read a lot of articles and research papers about it and I really didn't see any down sides to giving it a go.
I'm only a few weeks in but can already feel it having an effect, even my resting heart rate is more stable. Pics are of the one I take it's easily available on Amazon, and some info from google

@Sleeeeeepy nope I had no periods while on the depo which at the time I thought was amazing! I wish I'd been more informed about the horrible side affects when coming off it before I'd had it done, I felt rough for months and was convinced i was for about 3 months running.
My last one was due end of March but that's when we finally decided to ttc so didn't have it. Can I ask how long it took for your periods to come back?

Angelchops30 · 01/08/2020 08:21

That was supposed to read *was convinced I was pregnant for about 3 months running

Semele5069 · 01/08/2020 08:47

Hmm, still no period this morning after a tiny bit of spotting last night but a BFN! It's due today or tomorrow but I don't feel the usual warning signs so fingers crossed it stays away and I'll test again in a couple of days is so.

Hocuspocusandfairies · 01/08/2020 09:04

Angelchops, thank you so much. I'll get some. I was turned down for clomid due to my age. I conceived with clomid with my first child I know I ovulate late in the 20s. Hopefully this will help.

LT103 · 01/08/2020 09:06

@Semele5069 hope af stays away!!!
I had some spotting yesterday morning at 9dpo. Nothing since yet. Af not due til 4th for me but I do usually spot for a few days before it. Still trying to convince myself it’s implantation when I’m starting to get the usual cramps 🙈

Angelchops30 · 01/08/2020 09:15

@Hocuspocusandfairies I'm glad I can be of some help, I have an incredibly supportive partner but ttc can still be a lonely process at time's!
My last pregnancy was a complete surprise and I'd never really given a thought to how difficult ttc can be until I met my partner and began our ttc journey, we've not been trying long in the whole scheme of things but I went from years of 'I'm not having another child' to completely 180 and it's literally all I want in the world now
Fingers crossed the inositol is doing its thing and it won't be too long a wait

Sleeeeeepy · 01/08/2020 09:23

@Angelchops30 It took just over a year for mine to come back, it stayed in my system a hell of a lot longer than I realised it would. I think they should warm us more about the side effects, they're so busy convincing people to have that or the implant but they can both be quite grim. Everyone is different so hopefully yours will be back soon x

OP posts:
Angelchops30 · 01/08/2020 09:32

Thanks @Sleeeeeepy I really hope it doesn't take that long but what will be will be I guess. I completely agree that women should be fully aware of the full effects before it's prescribed

Keepeas · 01/08/2020 14:38

Hi 👋 I've been following this thread and the last, but thought I'd finally join. I'm 36, ttc #2, cycle 8 at the moment. My 2yr old took 9 cycles to conceive, but was hoping I'd worked out all the errors we were making last time and it wouldn't take as long this time. Seems our issue now is probably age. Currently 2dpo, really trying to not obsess this time!

Angelchops30 · 01/08/2020 15:15

Welcome @Keepeas hopefully it won't be to much longer for you

selina37 · 01/08/2020 15:55

Hello ladies, hope you're all ok, welcome newbies 🙂

Probably about 11dpo here, a bit of spotting but I figure it's due to my cervical erosion. My usual monthly spotting has dwindled quite a bit though recently, which I'm pleased about! Bit crampy too though today, very slightly, AF is due weds.

Sleeeeeepy · 01/08/2020 17:37

Hi @Keepeas , you're still young! , hopefully the baby dust on the thread will bring you luck!

Glad to hear the spotting is improving @selina37

@EJay84 step away from YouTube!!

I hope all you ladies are having a lovely weekend so far x

LT103 · 01/08/2020 17:57

Spotting again today and a bit heavier. Losing all hope for this cycle now I think! 😢😢

Sleeeeeepy · 01/08/2020 18:51

I'm sorry @LT103 that sucks. It's not over til AF is here though 🤞🏻
