Thank you ladies, I really appreciate that. This TTC business case really one of the loneliest experiences you can go through. I still feel pretty raw today but ill get over it and we'll go again next month.

So I haven't posted on here for a while so not sure if any of the same people are on here but anyway I have 2 children conceived through many, many rounds of ivf and blood, sweat and tears. My husband had an op a few months back for a blocked urethra which he has been waiting ages for. I ov'd on day 14 this month and we dtd once on day 13 and I nearly didn't bother as he doesn't have a particularly high sex drive so I always kind of feel like I'm pestering. Anyway I'm 11dpo today and got this! Really can't believe it. I'm 41 though so I know it's likely this may not have a happy ending but for me the fact I've conceived naturally really is a miracle!

@CurlyNo2 sometimes you just need to get it all off your chest and here is the perfect place. My oh has been so stressed out last few months with exams that it really hasn’t been our best time for trying. I had to have a chat and explain how my cycle works so he knows that there is only a narrow window though I won’t tell him when it is as I don’t want to add extra pressure so will See how this month goes

Thanks everyone. Yes it is truly amazing and I never thought we would see a natural bfp! I felt some sharp twinges now and again and also a little nausea but I've felt all those on cycles where there was nothing too so I didn't read anything into it at all. On 9dpo I was just about to go to bed and noticed a couple of the cheapy tests left and I thought may as well do one but not because I thought i was pregnant just more for the fun of it really. I thought I could see a tiny bit of something but those tests are quite notorious for evaps so did another in the morning and there was definitely a shadow there but still didn't know what to think so ordered some frers which came yesterday and the strong line came up straight away. Will do a digi when they come today.

@selina37 no I didn't really suspect at all. I've been terrible for symptom spotting before and it's always led to disappointment and everything I felt this time (which wasn't a lot) I have felt before so I try not think about it anymore. I really wouldn't have said I was pregnant. I think for us it was finding the cause of all our issues that allowed us to be successful which in our case appears to have been the problem with the narrowing of my husbands tube which meant the sperm weren't able to come out properly. If only we had known this 6 years ago we would have saved ourselves a fortune!

I didn't try last month as I had hycosy test and my cycle was exactly as it usually is, save for the fact I had NONE of my usual cramping. Work that one out 😂

@lucieloos me too I’m horrible at symptom spotting because on Thursday I had these cramps that go all the way to bum I said to him it feels like someone is stabbing the inner part of my bu**and I was cramping my period is due next Wednesday 21st according to my period tracker but I have zero symptoms and I have low iron so always crave odd things which don’t help so missing my period is always the only way I know
