@VP91x oh no bless you 😔 I’m sorry. Be kind to yourself today please. Must be your cycle still trying to get back to normal? X

Diorissimo1985 · 23/07/2020 11:55

@VP91x I’m sorry lovely, I didn’t think AF would show for you this month Sad here for you if you need to vent... take it easy today and rest when you can xxx

HopeForRainbowbaby · 23/07/2020 12:18

@VP91x I'm sorry dear❤️ maybe treat yourself to something nice. I have been just eating some chocolate;) Unfortunately the cycle is likely to be irregular after Mc. I had 20 day cycle between MC and this month was 25 days. But actually I'm glad that it came earlier than later. Now I'm ready to ttc next week and maybe we will be fellow preggo ladies in August 😘 wishing you sticky bean dear

Lollol86 · 23/07/2020 12:32

@MichT4 I think your mum would definitely want to know, I've told my family both times I've mc and I'm glad I did as I had their support

VP91x · 23/07/2020 12:33

@Pugprincess @HopeForRainbowbaby @Diorissimo1985 thank you ladies, I've managed to book a private scan for this afternoon at 3.40pm and after a cry on the phone to the doctor she has printed off my blood forms for me. Just going to pick them up now xx

Lollol86 · 23/07/2020 12:35

@VP91x I'm gutted for you, everything seemed to point in the right direction. It's so cruel. Look after yourself today and we are all here for you xx

Lollol86 · 23/07/2020 12:37

@@VP91x at least they are taking you seriously. What's the private scan for hun?

VP91x · 23/07/2020 12:38

@Lollol86 its just pelvic scan so they'll just check my uterus, ovaries and general area in case there's anything going on there. I think the bloods are to look at estrogen levels etc xx

Lollol86 · 23/07/2020 12:40

@VP91x ohhh that's good, have your periods been really messed up since your mc?

Rb486 · 23/07/2020 12:40

@Mommybear05 yeah the glow app tells you the percentage - I think the highest is like 37% chance, which seems crazy. Yeah a year seems like such a long time to wait! Yeah at least you have your little one now to keep you busy, which I’m sure he does. lol! I don’t know about me this month, I’ve felt really stressed as my friend is pregnant so I’ve had to listen to a lot of baby chat which is lovely but very hard at times. I just feel like I’ve got no motivation atm and am finding it hard to pick myself out of this hole. Lol! Maybe I have holiday blues and it’s back to reality. But we will see, I guess we just have to see the tww out xxx

Pugprincess · 23/07/2020 12:44

Oh guys I just remembered something I used to do! I used to buy myself a ‘period present’ each month when AF came. I don’t know about you guys but I get a bit of a buzz going around b and m or ordering something online lol, give yourself a buzz @VP91x you deserve it 🎁

VP91x · 23/07/2020 12:47

@Lollol86 yeah an absolute nightmare, 24/20/31/32 and now 24. My MC was in December and so didn't get my cycle back until Feb 14th. I've only confirmed ovulation once in all those cycles and possibly this cycle too.

Going to get my bloods done now they had an appt! Xx

Northernsoul90 · 23/07/2020 12:58

@VP91x I'm so sorry 😞 take some time for yourself today. It's so gutting every time. Maybe your cycle is still regulating? I'm glad you've got a scan this afternoon I hope all is okay and/or you get some answers xxx

Jazper · 23/07/2020 13:13

Oh @VP91x , I've just popped in to ask a question I'm so sad for you that af has arrived. I was so hopeful looking at your chart. Really pleased to hear you have managed to get a private scan at such short notice. That's a really positive step and should hopefully help to make you feel proactive alongside your inevitable devastation. I have my fingers crossed that everything shows clear on your scan xx

VP91x · 23/07/2020 13:17

@Northernsoul90 yeah, it's just been so many months now, it's really frustrating as you know. My bloods were for LH and FSH so I'm interested to see what they come out as.

@Jazper thank you so much❤️, how are you? Xx

Also, just wanted to say thank you to everyone on here again, honestly you are all such wonderful people and a massive support. Xx

Well, as a result of my relaxed approach this month, ov has taken me by surprise and I've just got my static smily today, 3 days earlier than expected! (cd14 rather than cd17) It would be really great news if we'd had regular dtd on the run up but... 🤷🏽‍♀️
We dtd Monday morning and then this morning. Test failed with fmu so I had to retake it later and got my static after dtd about midday today. I tested yesterday and it was blank so the static has occurred anywhere between 😫
So I suppose I'm looking for reassurance that the two day gap of no dtd won't have seriously disadvantaged us 🙄 sigh.
I suppose at the very least, it may mean my cycles are getting back to a more 'pre mc' length.

VP91x · 23/07/2020 13:30

@Jazper that's good news that you are getting back to your regular cycle. Static will mean ovulation between 12-36hrs and two days before ovu will definitely still have you covered. So if you DTD today and even tomorrow you'll still be in with a good chance I would think! Xx

Thank you for all your support ladies. Just back from a lovely couple of hours with my Mum. Took til about 40 mins in to tell her but I did and I feel so much better, if not a little bad for not telling her sooner.

@VP91x I'm so sorry and a little furious for you that AF arrived. What a great thing to have so many steps in the right direction though. Did they say when the bloods would be back? Is the scan through your docs or was that the private clinic you looked at before?

xx

Jazper · 23/07/2020 13:43

Well I hope I am @VP91x but I'm still not temping so I guess I'm lacking the confirmation that it's occurred. I didn't even intend to test this month, I just had ovulation pains yesterday and thought I would just do a sneaky few days of POAS.
I've just seen you managed to get your bloods done at ultra short notice too. That's great news. At least the doctors are acting on it now, and you can rest assured there's nothing wrong, or act on it if there is x

Jazper · 23/07/2020 14:02

Sorry @MichT4 , I missed that you were telling your mum today. I am glad it went ok. I am sure your mum is happier knowing so that she can support you now. I am sure it was difficult having to speak about it though ❤️

VP91x · 23/07/2020 14:10

@MichT4 aw I'm so glad you told her, how did she take the news? I'm sure it took a weight off your shoulders xx

I know, I think it's helped me grt through the day. I didn't want to feel helpless so, I'm glad these all fell into place for today. They will be back in 3-4 days they said. So I'll ring on Wednesday to see if they are back 🤞. The scan is at a private clinic it was £139 for it.

@Jazper yeah it's difficult to get out of the habit of confirming with temping, but I'm hoping all is well and you have/will ovulate. ❤️

I'm wondering whether or not to take the soy iso again this cycle. Xx

OP posts:
MichT4 · 23/07/2020 14:24

Thank you @Jazper. I think that was the worst thing - saying it out loud. We have almost been in a MC bubble at home with this one, so having to tell people is strange. I do feel better though.

@VP91x thank you - and yes, a huge weight. Like I said, I felt sick before and it must have just been that weighing on me. I blurted it out really fast, and didn't really look at her 😂😂. She was just really sad for us, and most likely sad herself, but she said that we will have the blood tests, and hopefully get some answers from that. She said all the right things about it being OK, and to keep busy. She also acknowledged how hard it must be to not be anxious now, especially once getting the BFP, and said she knows how she would have been had it happened to her. It was just lovely to talk to her, and as you all said, she's now a fountain of extra support. I told her about you lovely lot too and she was pleased I had people to talk to.

That's not a bad price at all. Will that be answers straight away as they look do you think?

I'd be tempted not to, so that if they ask for any more tests, it's definitely just your normal levels. Saying that, I don't know if the SI actually affects your natural levels? xx

Lollol86 · 23/07/2020 14:39

@VP91x were your periods all normal and regular before? Did you use to check ovulation before aswell? Xx

Jazper · 23/07/2020 14:41

@VP91x I'm tempted to agree with @MichT4 on the SI. If it's going to affect bloods or any further tests, it may be worth holding off. Perhaps ask your GP?

Northernsoul90 · 23/07/2020 14:43

@Jazper Good news that your cycle seems to be regulating. I think you will still be covered!! Just dtd tonight and maybe tomorrow to make sure 🤞🏼xx

@MichT4 Im glad all went well talking your mum and that you feel a sense of relief for telling her xx

@VP91x I don't know about the soy iso.. I was going to say go for it but thinking about what @MichT4 said she has a point there? Just so it's a really clear indicator of where your body is naturally? Xx
