Thanks @Threnody. How are you doing?

@Starfish762 Definitely a line, congratulations. Hope everything goes well!

@Workingmama1 This sounds v stressful. Glad you had a positive scan, was that an emergency scan or your actual 12 week scan?

Threnody · 21/09/2020 14:03

@PurplePansy05 Not too bad thanks. I think I'm 2dpo - the apps all say different things again! I've got my scan booked on Thursday (internal - not had one before, so I'm a bit nervous), then a blood test on Friday, when I'll be about 6dpo. So it may be a bit early, but if I wait until Monday, it could be too late. We missed dtd one night as oh was working overtime, but I think we did ok otherwise.

@Carefree1 No judgement at all, I completely understand how you must be feeling. It’s lovely they’ve asked you to be a godmother and not selfish at all to shed tears.

@Starfish762 That’s a definite line! But weird how it seems quite far over. Fingers crossed for you!

@Threnody Since my appointment I’ve actually been feeling more relaxed about it all. I think it’s because it’s a bit of a weight off knowing I’ll get some definite answers.

@Workingmama1 So sorry you had a scare but glad it all turned out okay!

Threnody · 23/09/2020 09:05

@Starfish762 have you tested again today?

Starfish762 · 23/09/2020 09:05

Line’s definitely darker 10DPO vs 12DPO today! So worried it’ll be a chemical as AF not actually due till Monday. Keeping everything crossed!

Starfish762 · 23/09/2020 09:09

@Threnody bless you, thank you for checking in. We just posted at the exact same time how spooky! Still a bit worried about it being so far over to the left but majority of things I’ve found googling say that’s ok (some say otherwise!) I’m going to wait till AF is properly late & do a CB digital.

What time is your scan? Internal is okay I promise, I find them much easier than a smear test.

Carefree1 · 23/09/2020 09:48

@Starfish762 omg, that’s definitely a line and it’s getting darker. Congratulations and best of luck - have you told hubby yet? 💗
@Threnody thank you. Well my cycles are incredibly irregular, so it’s a bit of a stab, but I would have been on day 22. It was progesterone only I believe, but not sure. Although, according to OPKs I did ovulate or at least get lh surge last Monday.
Also, an internal isn’t as bad as you think - the thought of it is worse than the scan - hope goes well!
@Workingmama1 oh my, that must have been scary, glad all is well with baby though x

Workingmama1 · 23/09/2020 19:51

It was absolutely terrifying, but such a relief to then see a heartbeat!

I still check in in this thread quite often to see how everyone is getting on, but dont want to fill it with pregnancy chat so just say hi every now and again 😊

@starfish762 that is good progression 🤞 this is your rainbow 🌈

Threnody · 24/09/2020 09:57

@Starfish762 that was spooky! that's a great progression. Do you have the fertility friend app? They have a gallery of positive tests and you can see some have lines further one way or the other. I expect it's just the way that batch came out. When was your period due? Have you told your husband yet?
Thank you, and @Carefree1 for the reassurances over the scan, I just had it and it was fine. The sonographer said everything looked normal, so that's a relief. I've got my progesterone test booked for tomorrow, and an appointment with my Dr to discuss the results on the 8th.

JoJo58995 · 24/09/2020 15:20

@Workingmama1 so pleased to hear everything is ok. That must have been so scary. Glad you got to see little one wriggling around 💕
@Starfish762 congratulations, they are good looking lines there 💕
I've been following how everyone is doing but somehow found myself unable to post last month when I got a bfp, I just felt too scared to actually type it. My local hospital offer early scans for anyone who has had a miscarriage so I have been for an 8w scan this morning and saw a mini person with a heartbeat 💕 it's still so scary because we got to this stage last time, all was ok and then still lost the baby but I'm just trying to take each day as it comes and stay as positive as possible. Keeping everything crossed for all of you lovely ladies and sending positive vibes to you all 💕💕

Starfish762 · 25/09/2020 08:09

Thanks all! Yes told DH on Wed when I done the 2nd test. We’re still not accepting it’s real yet, AF due Tuesday on CD32 (cycles much longer since MMC), but I usually start spotting 2-3 days before so I’m obsessively looking at tissue after every wee. Time is dragging! 🙈

@JoJo58995 that’s great news! And good your hospital done the early scan for you. Everything crossed for you.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. It’s peeing down with rain here!

SkyBlue20 · 25/09/2020 08:56

Hi all! 👋🏼

Been checking the thread to see how you’re all getting on but, like @Workingmama1, don’t want to fill with pregnancy chat. Glad everyone seems to be ok.

@Starfish762 Looks like a strong line to me! Completely understand the not wanting to believe it just yet though so tentative congratulations 💕

SkyBlue20 · 25/09/2020 08:59

@JoJo58995 Congrats to you, too! It’s such an anxious time but one step at a time is totally the best way to cope with it. I’m 16 weeks tomorrow and still tissue checking every time I go to the toilet! I don’t think the anxiety really goes away but it did get slightly better after my 12 week scan - you just get different things to worry about 🙈 Seeing a heartbeat at 8 weeks is great though, reduces your chances of anything bad happening significantly, I believe! Good luck with it all xxx

Threnody · 25/09/2020 14:41

@JoJo58995 congratulations - that's great news. So glad you got an early scan, fingers crossed everything goes smoothly.

@Starfish762 that's completely understandable.

Hi @SkyBlue20!

I had my blood test this morning, and then my smear test - which was a little painful, and has caused spotting and some cramping. Apparently my cervix looked fine though. So that's all my tests done now - just have to wait for the results, and my appointment. 6dpo today (I think), going to test on Monday, af due Tuesday.

Carefree1 · 28/09/2020 08:33

Congratulations @JoJo58995!

@Threnody, hope you get your tests back soon. Let us know if you do test :)

I tested on Friday which would have been 10dpo, I think and bfn so I’m out this month. I thought I would have been anyway, but it doesn’t make the disappointment any easier.
Getting so impatient to get my bloods back, but another week to go...

Hope everyone had a great weekend x

Sakura54 · 28/09/2020 08:48

I'm still here in the background too. Tentative congrats @Starfish762 and @JoJo58995 it's so lovely to see BFPs. Come join us in the other thread when you're ready.

Poppy10121 · 28/09/2020 09:25

Congratulations @Starfish762 and @JoJo58995! I’ve not checked back here for a while and so lovely to see your positives 💕🌈

Threnody · 28/09/2020 10:01

I've taken 6 tests this morning, can't quite believe it. I was sure I was out as I had a big temp drop this morning.

Carefree1 · 28/09/2020 10:42

Wow @Threnody, congratulations 😊. How are you feeling?

Starfish762 · 28/09/2020 11:39

@SkyBlue20 wow 16 weeks that’s great! Doesn’t feel that long since you got your BFP!

@Threnody OMG! Congratulations! Craziest feeling eh? I booked my smear 2 weeks ago & I told them I was trying for a baby & she said to cancel if I found out I was pregnant, so maybe let them know?

@Sakura54 thank you - can you send me the link to the other thread pls?

@Carefree1 sorry to hear that, it really doesn’t get any easier 😢 Especially with us all harping on 🙈 I know when that was me & everyone else was getting their BFP’s it’s not easy, but it gave me hope that it’d be my turn soon & hopefully it is. You next! 🤞🏼

AF due tomorrow & still no spotting when wiping which is unheard of, so it is looking promising, it’s more it sticking in the right place & developing I’m anxious about.

SkyBlue20 · 28/09/2020 12:18

Eeeek, congrats @Threnody!!

@Starfish762 I know, right?! It does feel like my BFP was about 2mins ago but equally like it was yesterday, it's all a bit strange. I still don't believe I'm actually pregnant 😂🙈

OMG congratulations @Threnody!! Fantastic!

Come and join us when you're ready :) www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/4029530-pregnant-after-mmc-thread-3

Threnody · 28/09/2020 13:52

Thanks @Carefree1 Feeling excited and terrified all at the same time. 10dpo is still early to test - will you test again, or just wait and see if af arrives? Hope you get your blood test results soon.

@Starfish762 - thanks - very crazy! I think pregnancy can affect the results of a smear test, but I don't expect I'd have implanted yet or only just. I did look it up and it said it was fine during the tww. Fx for a sticky bean for you.

@SkyBlue20 thanks!

@Poppy10121 thanks! I'm still not sure I believe it.

Sakura54 · 28/09/2020 15:21

@Threnody wow congrats! Yes, come join us. It's interesting how we've been getting BFPs in batches.

I'm due my smear test too, but between the MMC, lockdown and now this, never got the chance to lol.

CakeAndPreggers · 28/09/2020 17:05

Hi everyone - hope you don't mind if I jump on.

We had a Mmc with medical management a few weeks ago and were lucky to jump back on the ttc boat quickly as all symptoms had gone.

Body is obviously getting used to things again but anyone else experience ovulation pain reaaaaally soon after Mmc?

I had to have 2 rounds of drugs. 1st on the Tuesday of wk1 , 2nd on the Friday of wk1 and all bleeding had stopped by the following Thursday (wk2) . And I had ovulation pain that weds-Thursday of wk2.

I know everyone's experiences are so different and it is possible to conceive right after Mmc (if you are ready). We are dtd all the time and are hoping to get pregnant soon as it took us 7 months in the first place and if it was ovulation pain then fingers crossed!

Wondering if anyone else experienced something similar? thanks.
