Just to let you know we've started a second pregnancy thread. Hope to see you ladies there very soon. I'm still rooting for you!

WildflowerPetals · 11/08/2020 16:11

@Carefree1 We did thank you! Same with me, I barely get any clots anymore, don’t know if that means anything 🤷🏻‍♀️

I also feel the same about being told you’re more fertile after MC. I thought I’d be able to get pregnant again almost straight away and when I didn’t it made me feel like somethings wrong, I’m now 4 months after MMC and still no BFP 😔 But I’m sure my time will come.

@Starfish762 Thank you 😊

RosieJess91 · 11/08/2020 16:32

I'm with @Carefree1 No clots either, apart from when I had the CP. Very odd!
It is hard, but I had my MMC in April, fell pregnant again by the end of May and then lost that one too. So I took what was planned to be 3 months off, and fell pregnant anyway in July, now I'm 6 weeks along and feeling very sick today.
Maybe it just means your body needs some time off to heal first? I fell pregnant almost immediately and still lost another one, take a break, tell yourself you're not TTC and then, like me, it'll probably happen by accident, @WildflowerPetals 💗

WildflowerPetals · 11/08/2020 22:13

@RosieJess91 Thank you ❤️ With each period I keep telling myself maybe I just need more time to heal, my time will come when my body is ready - Sometimes it’s easy to accept, other times it’s not, but I’m trying to stay hopeful that we’ll conceive soon. Congratulations on your pregnancy, hope your sickness eases soon 🤞🏼 X

Starfish762 · 12/08/2020 08:39

Thinking about our bodies needing longer to heal is a great way to think of it, thank you. Managed to get up at 6am & do a 20 min bodycoach hiit session 🥵 Feel great for it now!

Poppy10121 · 12/08/2020 09:27

@Starfish762 I know that it feels forever when you are waiting and TTC, someone said to me that your body will know when it's ready to go again, and I really hope and believe that this is true. From my ovulation tracking after the MMC, things were really haywire and I don't think my body would have been in a good place to hold on to a new baby. I just hope it is ready now! And fingers crossed you will get your positive soon, I think making other plans and having other things to look forward to is really healthy and will help you to be in a good place mentally as well as physically x

Threnody · 13/08/2020 12:15

@Starfish762 thanks, I didn't quite make run 2 of week 6 today, I had to have a minute walk in the last 10 minute run, so might repeat that one next time. I was seriously overheating though! Well done getting up early yesterday to exercise!

@Workingmama1 How are you feeling? That must have been scary, so glad it is not ectopic.

@WildflowerPetals trip to the Lake District sounds lovely, sorry af arrived. My periods were longer the first couple of months after the miscarriage, but seem to be settling back to 6/7 days now, which is what they used to be. Though looking back, the few months before my last pregnancy they were 8/9 days long, no idea if that means anything. One thing I have noticed since the MMC is I get spotting now, the day before af and for a day or two afterwards, which I never really had before.

@Carefree1 I find all the bfps reassuring too, and so nice for some happy news.

fx our bodies are all healed and ready for that bfp soon!

I'm a little worried, as my next af is due the day I have to go into work, so if it shows up I will be sad. Though at least I'll have something to do to take my mind off it. Then it's my birthday the next day - I'm trying not to hope too much for a birthday bfp.

Starfish762 · 13/08/2020 16:31

@Threnody I’m always looking ahead at dates & what ifs too, it’s probably not healthy but it’s impossible not to when it’s all you want. Like you say if AF does show you’ll have a distraction & you can let loose on your birthday & drink, which will probably do you the world of good. FX neither of us have this issue though 🤞🏼

Has anyone had EWCM after ovulation, rather than before? CB ovulation test gave me static smiley on CD12 (no flashing smiley), then today/yesterday (CD15/16) I’ve noticed slight pains which could be ovulation pains & EWCM particularly today. We’ve been DTD every day so could just be stuff off that (TMI sorry) & me symptom spotting & imagining things 🤷🏻‍♀️

Starfish762 · 13/08/2020 16:32

That was meant to say DTD every other day (which is a struggle enough in this heat!)

Threnody · 13/08/2020 16:47

@Starfish762 I usually have ewcm before and after ovulation, which confuses fertilityfriend! And ovulation pains can come before, during or after ovulation. Last cycle I got my static at CD17, positive cheapie opk on CD18, peak cheapie on CD19 (and another static on CB), ewcm carried on until CD22, temp rise on CD20, so I assume I ovulated on CD19 at some point. Started using CB today again, but not sure I trust it, so will use cheapies too.
Well done for dtd every other day! I'm not sure whether to try for every day or better to do every other.

Starfish762 · 13/08/2020 17:32

Wow you really know what you’re doing! I’ve only ever done CB but I’m glad now as I was getting a bit down with the obsessiveness of tracking, so now trying to be a bit more laid back with it all. DTD every other day is very manual & the least sexy thing ever, but hopefully we’ll get the romance back when the ovulation window is gone & we’re more chilled 🙈 DTD every day is surely upping your chances more? So go for it! We done that last cycle for 3 days then were so ‘done’ didn’t do it for 4 days after that so could’ve missed the window 🤷🏻‍♀️ I figured every other day should cover things 🤞🏼 Although we’ve been wondering how fast DH’s swimmers are & how long they live inside when he’s 39 & I’m 34, another one of the silly things I’ve thought/worried about 😂🙈

RosieJess91 · 13/08/2020 18:36

That's what my OH said to me when we lost the 2nd one, that my body clearly needed a little bit more time to heal and when I thought about it, I realised he was probably right really, MC is hard. Even your mind needs time to heal.
Positive thinking and everything feels better. That's what I find anyway. You'll get your BFP. 💗

Threnody · 13/08/2020 22:10

@Starfish762 I do obsess over tracking, but I like data, so it makes me happy. To be honest, if we weren't ttc, we probably would hardly ever dtd, after 20 years and 3 children together, we're a bit old and knackered! I'm sure your oh's sperms will be fine, and you're not old - I was your age when I conceived my first (once you hit 35 you're termed 'geriatric', so that's fun).

Poppy10121 · 14/08/2020 08:05

@Starfish762 I’m the same age as you and I made my husband start taking conception vitamins to make sure his swimmers were in good shape, he moaned at first but after a few days said he actually felt he had loads of energy and felt really good 😂 we bought the Wellman Conception vits.
We tried DTD every day 2 cycles but like you, ran out of steam after a few days and probably made us miss the actual best day 😏
On our “lucky” cycle he had been taking the vitamins for a few weeks and we only DTD every other day, I was about to give up for a few months because it was all getting too much! Good luck xxx

Threnody · 14/08/2020 10:31

Got a flashing smiley on my cb digital today. Seems to be getting earlier and earlier each month, only had one low day this time. I'm assuming I'll have lots of highs, as I'm only CD10. Better give oh the nudge this evening!

Poppy10121 · 14/08/2020 15:56

Good luck @Threnody :-) I think thats a great sign your body is getting back to normal!

Threnody · 14/08/2020 17:16

Thanks @Poppy10121, it's not very normal for me though.

Starfish762 · 15/08/2020 09:58

@Threnody geriatric at 35, what a joke! 😂🙈 FX for this month for you, with static smiley soon.

@Poppy10121 thanks, DH has been taking the wellman conception vits since January, and I’ve been taking pregnacare conception ones. Thanks for the positivity re DTD every other day, FX!

WildflowerPetals · 15/08/2020 10:46

I’ve decided to go all out this month - I’ve ordered a thermometer, cheapie OPK’s and pre-conception vitamins for me and DH 🙈🤞🏼

Threnody · 16/08/2020 12:03

How is everyone doing this weekend?

@WildflowerPetals sounds like a plan🤞!

@Starfish762 I know, I thought it was so rude!

Still flashing today. I did an experiment with the old test I had from the last 2 months and tested with that as well yesterday and today, and it gave me a flashing smiley today too, so oestrogen is still going up. Stick opks are getting a little darker, and came up as high on femometer app. Feeling a bit of nausea, and had some ewcm this morning, so maybe I'll ovulate a bit early this cycle - though I thought that last time. OH was feeling ill yesterday so we didn't dtd, so will have to tonight.

Sakura54 · 17/08/2020 09:23

So the moment of truth has arrived. I have my 12 week scan tomorrow, here we go again. Feels like I’ve been waiting forever. It’s at such a late time so I’m going to have to somehow distract myself all day...petrified.

Starfish762 · 17/08/2020 09:56

@Sakura54 oh wow that feels like it come around quickly, obviously not for you I bet it’s felt like a year! Bless you I can only imagine the anxiety. Try to keep yourself busy & let us know how you get on.

@Threnody glad you got the extra peace of mind from the additional stick, I nearly done that too but didn’t. Hope you managed to DTD.

We’ve been pretty good at DTD every other day, so I have so much hope for this month I think it’ll hit me hard if I’m not. BUT I do have lots of lovely plans & I enjoy a drink, so least I’ll he able to do that. 8DPO today, hoping to wait till Friday 12DPO to test with a FR. How many people have had BFP that soon? DH doesn’t want me to test that early but we’re seeing family & friends all weekend & I don’t want to drink unless I know for sure.

WildflowerPetals · 17/08/2020 13:16

@Threnody That sounds promising! Hope you managed to DTD 🤞🏼

@Sakura54 Good luck for tomorrow! I can imagine the anxiety you’re feeling - sending positive vibes 💕

@Starfish762 Fingers crossed this month is your month, I’m hoping it’ll be mine too. Sorry can’t help with the testing early but I hope you get your BFP x

Threnody · 17/08/2020 18:13

@Sakura54 Good luck with scan tomorrow!

@Starfish762 all of my bfps have been before 12dpo, earliest was 9dpo, then one at 10dpo, and two at 11dpo. Hope this is your month.

We managed to dtd last night, not sure if we'll do tonight or tomorrow, I had to go to work today and I'm really tired out!

WildflowerPetals · 17/08/2020 20:11

I started using the cheapie OPK’s yesterday and this is my first time using them (I’ve only used CB in the past). I work shifts so I’m not going to be able to test at the same time every day - do you think that’ll be a problem?
