@Workingmama1 That's a good line on the frer! Interesting to see the line on your opk, it's a pretty clear line, and must be hcg, as you wouldn't have lh at this stage.
How does rhr work, I’ve only really started tracking the past 3 months, just checking first thing when I do my bbt, and the first month I think I was doing it wrong!

Workingmama1 · 29/07/2020 12:45

@Threnody in theory it rises when you are pregnant, some women use it to predict if they are pregnant at all! It tends to rise in your luteal period and drop if AF is coming or continue to increase if your are pregnant. There is a whole thread on here about it, it's actually really interesting how it changes through your cycle.

Ive attached a pic of what mine did for the MMC, it went super high really quickly, I ovulated around 1st March.

Trying not to stress too much, and just looked at what it did for my daughter, while it did rise it didn't at first as quickly as for my MMC so might not be a bad sign.

Hiya, sorry I've been away so long, needed time to get my head around everything that had happened!
Good news though, after my MMC in April and CP in June, I've got another positive and we didn't even try this month! Decided to take a month off of trying and relax. But seems it was destined to keep happening...
Line came up immediately and I wasn't even expecting it to, I thought I was just late because the CP had screwed with my cycle! Keeping positive, but also not going to get carried away, but hoping it's a case of third time lucky for me! 🤞

Wow congratulations @rosiejess91! You have had such a rollarcoaster with news every month. How are you feeling?

Sounds like it might be a lucky week, @poppy10121 have you decided when you will test?

@PurplePansy05 hope your UTI has started to clear up

RosieJess91 · 29/07/2020 16:33

@Workingmama1 tell me about it, it's been absolutely insane! We've just worked out that if this is our lucky sticky bean, it's be due on the day of the 1st anniversary of the date my mother in law passed away. So maybe it's an odd coincidence? Maybe it's fate... (Not that I completely believe in it!)

Starfish762 · 29/07/2020 20:17

@Workingmama1 @RosieJess91 OMG! Congratulations to you both! Such a buzz to hear happy news on this thread. Everyone deserves to be pregnant but once you’ve been through MC you really do route for everyone who’s been through it too 🌈🧡

After my scan Monday & static smiley, AF came Tuesday! So this cycle I ovulated on CD24, then again on CD46, then AF the day after that. Like WTF?! I’m pleased AF has finally come, and that I ovulated again, but how will I ever get pregnant if I’m ovulating the same day my period is coming?! 😢

Poppy10121 · 29/07/2020 21:38

@Workingmama1 congratulations!!! So so pleased for you 🥰 Have you told your OH yet?

@RosieJess91 congratulations to you too, what a rollercoaster ride I’m not surprised it’s taking a while to sink in!

AF is still not here, officially 3 days late tomorrow so will do a test first thing in the morning. I’m scared to know! I feel chilled out for now and worried tomorrow will send me in a spin either way. Cross your fingers for me!

Starfish762 · 29/07/2020 21:52

@Poppy10121 Well done for holding out until now. Toes & fingers crossed for you! 🤞🏼💫

Workingmama1 · 30/07/2020 06:55

Took a digital and told my husband this morning! He took it quite well, then offered to give his sperm to a sperm bank as it seems to be pretty effective 😂. Think he might be more excited about having a designated driver than a baby.... It feels real now after seeing the words on a digital, just hoping this one is sticky 🤞🤞🤞 I'm feeling quite positive now so hopefully I can try and stay that way and just take each day as it comes. My right boob is on fire!

Poppy10121 · 30/07/2020 07:21

Glad I waited and got a clear answer - and obviously I was up at the crack of dawn today for my designated testing day! 😊

It’s not really sunk in yet! And husband is still asleep so you lot are finding out before him 😄

@Poppy10121 Yeeeyy! Congratulations! You’re the first thing I thought of this morning 😂

Workingmama1 · 30/07/2020 07:58

YAY @Poppy10121 I had a feeling this was going to be the result for you! I'm so pleased for you, congratulations 🥰

JoJo58995 · 30/07/2020 08:50

@Workingmama1 @Poppy10121 & @RosieJess91 congratulations!! 🥳💕 so happy for you all and 🤞🤞 for sticky beans xx

JoJo58995 · 30/07/2020 08:56

@Starfish762 I'm sure I've read things about getting an LH surge just before AF so could the 2nd static smiley the day before AF be that rather than a 2nd ovulation?

JoJo58995 · 30/07/2020 09:09

I'm having a bit of a tough week this week. I tried not to test early but hubby gets so excited and so I did and have ended up testing every day. I knew I was out this month but still did a FRER and IC this morning just in case as today is 12dpo so I felt it was the final chance to see one. I know all the statistics about odds each cycle, it's just hard because we got pregnant first time before, and now I'm 5 months post MMC after all the complications and I'm convinced I must have scarring and issues from the complications 😔 I get weird little pains very low down between ovulation and AF which started a couple of weeks before my MVA and is why I pushed even harder for them to check something wasn't going on and how they then found out I still had retained products. I've never had the pains before so I don't know what they are, and they're definitely different to normal period cramps in my opinion, but have carried on both cycles since the op.

We're only 2 cycles post MVA and I know I shouldn't feel disheartened this early but I'm surrounded by pregnant people (2 due within a week of when we were) and we were DTD almost every day at the right times both cycles (and more...), and its just so hard not to feel down when it doesn't work. Got to pick myself up and carry on with next cycle, this is such a challenging journey and I have the utmost respect to everyone going through it, no matter what stage they're at. Sending hugs to anyone else who is having a low moment 💕

RosieJess91 · 30/07/2020 09:10

Thank you everyone! And I hope everyone else has sticky beans too! 💗 🤞

We all deserve our rainbows! 🌈

I need to do a proper readthrough of the whole thread at some point. Who are we rooting for to also get their positives?

Starfish762 · 30/07/2020 09:12

@JoJo58995 Oh really, I didn’t know that, thank you. Anyone else know if CB ovulation tests pick up LH surges too? As relieved as I am to finally have AF after 6.5 weeks, I’ve been thinking HOW WILL I EVER GET PREGNANT if I ovulate then come on period the next day 🤯

Starfish762 · 30/07/2020 09:16

@JoJo58995 Sorry you’re feeling so low. I’m exactly the same, it’s still ‘early days’ but it’s not because time goes SO SLOWLY when we’re going through this, it’s obsessive. The mind does wander & worry about the what ifs, but we have to try & stay positive & believe it will happen for us 🤞🏼🌈 Lots of love to you xx

Workingmama1 · 30/07/2020 09:46

@jojo58995, sorry your feeling down at the moment. It is such a difficult journey and I think it's also hard for people who haven't been through it to understand. In someways if the pregnancy that miscarries was conceived quickly i think it can make a long wait until a new pregnancy harder as you are expecting it to happy straight away and its disappointing (although perfectly normal!) if it doesn't.

Are you still getting the odd pains and twinges? Do you think you could ask for further investigations if so?

@Starfish762 I think the static is probably picking up a LH surge pre AF which can happen rather than ovulation, especially if you already got a static earlier in the cycle. The other explanation (depending on how heavy your flow is) is you could have ovulated again and its ovulation bleeding which some women do get, but i don't think that sounds right given what you have described.

Poppy10121 · 30/07/2020 11:03

Thanks so much ladies, for your good vibes :-) I'm not telling anyone apart from husband in real life so it means a lot to get the support on here!

@JoJo58995 Sorry you are feeling low, I think we all have had those days and it takes a long time for hormones to balance back out again. I know it feels like forever but 2 months post MVA is not that long to be trying (I was in the same boat last month and I really do get it, it feels like years). I tried to look on the positive side by thinking that every month it doesn't happen is your body still repairing and getting ready, to better carry the next one. Hopefully it's not too long now! I have had a lot more weird pains and twinges since the MMC, last month I had something similar to what you describe and hoped it was implantation cramps but it wasn't, this month I had it again and I think it might have been implantation! So perhaps it's just our bodies preparing and hormones settling? Definitely go to the doctors if you are worried though.

@Starfish762 thank you for your lovely message this morning :-) I'm sorry you are feeling low too, I hope now you have AF that's a positive sign that things are returning to normal for you. I think what others have said is true, about the LH surge before period. Also I don't know how long you have been monitoring for but I had some bonkers ovulation patterns the last few months (anything from day 8 to day 19, luteal phase anything from 2 to 12 days), I never monitored ovulation before so I don't know if its ever been regular for me, but certainly took 3 months for me post MMC to get a normal set of timings! Good luck xxx

Threnody · 30/07/2020 20:28

@RosieJess91 and @Poppy10121 congratulations!

@Workingmama1, lol at your husband, glad he's pleased! Thanks, I'll check out the thread on rhr. I don't have a wearable, so just take it in the morning when I do my temps, so possibly not so accurate. It shot up today, along with my temp, but I think it's because I have a cold.

@JoJo58995 sorry you are feeling low, big hugs. It's all such a difficult and stressful journey, I guess bad days are to be expected. Doesn't make them any easier though.

@Starfish762 you can definitely get lh surges before af, I specifically took opks last month to check this fact and got a very high (though not peak) result about 3 days before. I didn't check with my CB though (so expensive!).

I'm 4dpo today (or 3 depending which app I go by), 6 days until af, and feeling nausea already - way too early to be a symptom, so just one of those annoying tww things.

Workingmama1 · 30/07/2020 21:06

So my pregnancy bubble has been burst by my daughter coming home from nirsery with a temp and runny nose. So no trip to the beach tomorrow as planned on our day off but a covid test!

Feeling strongly calm today after my mini freak out yesterday.

@Threnody the tww nausea is a bitch, it gets you hopeful, when for me it was simply a PMS thing too!

Threnody · 31/07/2020 11:40

Oh no @Workingmama1, hope your daughter is ok.
The nausea is still here today. It's unusual for me, I only ever get it when pregnant, around 8dpo. I'm wondering if I have actually succeeded in increasing my progesterone levels, which would be good.

How's everyone doing today?

Poppy10121 · 31/07/2020 14:05

@Threnody that sounds positive - like you say, raised progesterone can only be good! It's so hard to know what is a symptom or not, but I have fingers and toes crossed for you!
