Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 2

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

See attached my current chart - at 10DPO my RHR is at it's all time high this cycle and has not started to decline for AF yet. Fingers crossed!

Would a CB work? Heading to shops now but don't want to if it is too early! I'm in such shock as no symptoms apart from the RHR being good

2alreadywantanother · 27/07/2020 10:15

I'm confused, got this peak yest midday, then nothing in the evening. Temp and RHR on the rise. Would I have ov yest? So soon after the peak.
My predictions were 25th going by my normal cycles but af was late this time so app predicts 29th? I'm going to do more opks for next few days to see what happens.

OH yeah!! @chrissagcat I’d test with FMU in the morning - looking good though!!

Juno231 · 27/07/2020 11:04

There's 100% a line there @chrissagcat !!! Congratulations!! Your RHR didn't lie :D You're 12DPO right? Which cycle is this? Also how many miu is this test?

Juno231 · 27/07/2020 11:07

@chrissagcat FRER over CB as they're not very sensitive and could give you a BFN still.

@2alreadywantanother your chart certainly looks like Sat was OD but you don't seem to temp very consistently so could be inaccurate? How far off were the timings on Sat and Sun?

2alreadywantanother · 27/07/2020 11:17

@juno231 no I've only recently started and do when I wake. Only think is I could be awake during the night and have broke sleeps alot which I dont think will help.

Juno231 · 27/07/2020 11:29

@2alreadywantanother the triangle on OD means you've taken the temp earlier than usual and the other triangles means you've taken your temp later than usual. Later temps means higher temps and vice versa, so it will be distorting your graph.

@juno231 thanks for that. I didn't know. Will continue to monitor see how it goes. Will try and do around the same time daily

Juno231 · 27/07/2020 12:01

@2alreadywantanother if you suspect any of your temps are affecting the crosshairs you can use the below to adjust it.

@chrissagcat I can defo see a line there!! 🤞🏼

Here's my chart for today at 9DPO. Marked ovulation day, 18th July. Hoping this little dip is possibly implantation but don't know if that's wishful thinking! Been feeling extremely tired the last few days but other than that no other 'symptoms' to report. Usually start spotting a few days before AF, which is due Sunday/Monday so still a while off yet.

@Fran2020 glad you are looking after yourself. It’s great that the doctor is going to start looking Into everything for you. Hope you get some news soon.

@chrissagcat that’s a definite line!! Congratulations!

CD7 for me today so going to start testing with OPK’s from today. Hopefully I can catch my OV date.

Getting cautiously excited. This was how my chart looked when I was pregnant in November. Seemed to really plateau.
However it is just my luck my HR will drop tomorrow and that will be that 🙄. However my boobs are a little tender (noticed going down the stairs 😂 but not to touch) could just be pre AF though 🤷 also some stabbing pains in my uterus area and a sore lower back but again could be all AF I suppose 😩

Juno231 · 27/07/2020 13:31

@Alicespring ooh when is AF due? are you planning on testing before then or waiting for it to be late?

chrissagcat · 27/07/2020 14:26

@Juno231 you are right! Couldn't see. FRER in the shops so got CB digital- BFN. It was the 20 MIu clear and simple test 🤷🏼‍♀️ second cycle TTC coil out on 8th June.

Alicespring · 27/07/2020 14:35

@Juno231 due friday/sat. Not really sure part of me wants to incase it's another chemical and then I will get myself off to the doctors but I'm also scared to see a negative so I've not decided yet!

Alicespring · 28/07/2020 07:07

I've gone up again 🤔🤔
Said to myself yesterday if I went up or stayed the same I would take a FR test so I need to do a hold for at least another hour and I'm going to do one. Wish me luck 🤞

chrissagcat · 28/07/2020 07:09

@Alicespring all the best! Just out of interest why do you need to wait an hour?x

Alicespring · 28/07/2020 07:15

@chrissagcat

I've worked out (because I have taken SO many tests 😂) that if I'm pregnant I get a stronger line with second morning urine on an at least 4 hour hold with minimal liquids. Last peed at 4am so just to make sure it's concentrated enough!

chrissagcat · 28/07/2020 07:19

@Alicespring haha good to know! Now thinking about it my second one in the morning was from a second pee too! Your RHR looks promising. Mine still at 66BPO today as well after a 1bpm drop at the weekend it rose again

chrissagcat · 28/07/2020 07:20

@Alicespring for reference

@chrissagcat

When are you testing again?
Did you get a hold of a FRER? If your not already maybe sign up to Amazon prime and get one delivered the next day then you can cancel and it won't charge you the £7.99 .
Yours looks really good

Alicespring · 28/07/2020 07:47

Okay so I caved and did it slightly earlier. Pee wasn't as concentrated as I hoped but I think I can see the faintest of lines. Won't show up on a photo tho so I could just be imagining it 😂 think I'll wait till I'm late now!

chrissagcat · 28/07/2020 07:48

@Alicespring as when is AF due?

will test again this morning. Showed husband this "I'm still not convinced" cmon!!!

Alicespring · 28/07/2020 08:10

@chrissagcat

Due on Friday or sat. I think I'm actually only 10dpo which is probably still quite early for me to test so trying not to be too discouraged 😩
Oh good luck 🤞

LV1987 · 28/07/2020 08:40

@Alicespring and @chrissagcat good luck!! 🤞🤞

No AF for me today - expected her to be here this morning with yesterday's drop, but she's keeping me waiting. Another steep drop this morning though, so it won't be long...
