Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 2

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

See attached my current chart - at 10DPO my RHR is at it's all time high this cycle and has not started to decline for AF yet. Fingers crossed!

Another rise 11DPO (I think) no symptoms at all. Had yellowish CM about 3 days ago but nothing else. Think I've missed it this month. Usually I have tender breasts by now when I'm days before AF

I'm 8dpo today....my rhr dropped by 1bpm yesterday but this morning has gone up again by two. Also got a sore head, not wanting my usual coffee (but to be honest I do sometimes go through phases like that), im exhausted and I've got an abundance of creamy CM, which I don't usually get.
Trying hard not to get too excited though as it's still so early and with my history of chemicals 😩

My chart today at 7DPO! Ovulation day was last Saturday (marked). Still seem to be on the rise for now. 🤞🏼

@Alicespring I've also got loads of creamy CM this month! Didn't know if it was more noticeable as I took EPO up to ovulation this month and also upped my water intake but yeah definitely not had it so much or so creamy in previous cycles. Hopefully it's a good sign for us both!

mrswilso · 25/07/2020 09:24

@LV1987 how you doing today hun? I've stuck on 69bpm agaaaaain - grrr! I've saved some SMU in a pee cup and am currently standing staring it down drinking my decaf tea 🤣
Can't decide whether to go for it or not! Have you tested yet?

@CurlyEmz ewcm is common in the run up to ovulation so you're definitely in with a chance if you DTD today and tomorrow!

@chrissagcat that's such a steep increase! Hoping this is it for you - when are you planning on testing?

@Alicespring your symptoms sound really positive 🤞

CD16 here btw and no ovulation in sight - that's longest I've gone since starting to TTC! My chart is still pretty useless :)

Hi @mrswilso... I did test and it was a BFN! My RHR has stayed the same again too, but that doesn't necessarily mean you are out as well 😘

@Fran2020 sorry AF got you... I have to impatiently await mine now, due Tuesday. Boo!

SarahTTC2020 · 25/07/2020 11:31

@Fran2020 sorry to hear that. Hopefully it's something simple to resolve, or you'll be pregnant by the time your results come back xx

@Juno231 same cycle buddy! My rhr has been pretty similar to cycle before last where I didn't ov until day 26 so unless the ewcm comes in today, I'm expecting a longer cycle

mrswilso · 25/07/2020 11:54

Dipped the SMU with a 25iu cheapie strip and got exactly what I deserved for being so stupid 😂 BFN but at least I haven't wasted a FRER yet.
Due AF tomorrow and usually would get some spotting this evening before she shows up so now that I've gotten the urge out of my system for today I can finally say...I've managed a cycle without wasting a single FRER before AF is due! 🥳
I'll hold off now and wait to see what happens tomorrow @LV1987 - hope you enjoy a wee drink this evening!

chrissagcat · 25/07/2020 12:34

@Juno231 probably won't test until Tuesday as I was foolish last month! I just can't tell if this is how mine looks monthly as this is only month two of having coil out.

2alreadywantanother · 25/07/2020 12:49

Cd14 here and my temp and RHR is dropping, just in time for ovulation, I hope. Dh couldn't finish this morning so will have to work my magic later today.

Fran2020 · 25/07/2020 15:09

@mumof23188 Thank you, I am looking after myself. It just gets hard, we really want a baby 😔 I am going to try some more positive mindset things this month and incorporate more fertility boosting foods into my diet! Plus I am so glad the doctor is actually moving things forward! 💜

@SarahTTC2020 Thank you! I really hope so too 😊 xx

CD2... my RHR...

LV1987 · 26/07/2020 11:42

Sorry to hear AF got you @mrswilso ❤️ but onwards ho! Today is the start of a new cycle and one step closer to that baby🤞🤞 I'm not feeling too fuzzy, though I did drink enough to raise my RHR by 2bpm 🙊 this would have got me excited if it weren't for the BFN yesterday!

You're not out til AF @LV1987 ! 🤞🏻 there's more to that rise than just the booze ✨ xxx

Juno231 · 26/07/2020 14:12

@mrswilso I'm sorry AF got you :( that's you being one cycle closer to success though!

I'm on CD17 now and still haven't ovulated - v unusual for me. My RHR has started going back up again at a different angle than before so I'm hoping it's indicative of OD approaching? We'll see 🤷‍♀️

@mrswilso ah no. Sorry af arrived.
I'm cd 15 and got this on opk so fingers and toes crossed oh and plenty of DTD 😂😂
Watching RHR and bbt also

2alreadywantanother · 26/07/2020 22:12

Can ur rhr change midday. Mine was on 65 today and now 66? In fw and possibly ovulating today tomorrow

chrissagcat · 27/07/2020 07:34

Due tomorrow. No symptoms whatsoever. Not even cramp or sore boobs. Should I do a little cheapie now?

LV1987 · 27/07/2020 08:50

@mrswilso I think I'm out now, oh well! Yesterday's RHR settled a beat lower in the end, but it's dropped a further two today. AF due tomorrow or Weds, so too late for an implantation dip unfortunately!

@2alreadywantanother I’ve had that happen before too. Sometimes it has stuck, sometimes it has gone back down again.

@chrissagcat did you do one?

@LV1987 sorry to hear that, it’s so frustrating Sad

Juno231 · 27/07/2020 09:34

@2alreadywantanother yes I've had that a few times where it changes its mind partway through the day.

@chrissagcat what did the IC say?? Your chart looks super promising!

@LV1987 I'm sorry LV :( Just means you're one cycle closer to having your baby!

Shaking

I had a phone call while taking the first one and threw it in the bin knowing it was out with the time. Told my husband it was negative anyway. But I've just gone back to the bin to check and thought there is a line there (even though past the time) so took another there and feel I can see something?!! First photo the one above is the one from the bin. Bottom and second pic is within 5 mins
