TWW - anyone want to join?

Hey guys

Is anyone else in the TWW and want to join me in desperately trying not to test 😂

Currently 4DPO in cycle 9 of TTC, and frantically googling when is the absolute earliest I can test, driving myself insane!

How's everyone else finding the TWW at the min? Lockdown is making it harder cause I'm home all day with all my tests 🤦‍♀️

@helia Oh the same with me, I've just got that feeling!! I haven't tested yet either, I always get so disappointed when I test then think maybe it's because I tested too early so I keep testing until af arrives so this cycle I told myself I wouldn't test unless I'm late. Its not unusual for me to be 2 days late but I think I might test if I get to 1 day late just because I have my sisters 18th birthday on the Saturday and would like a drink or 2 to celebrate if I'm not pregnant.
How do you all manage to stay positive each time? We already have a 17month old and I know it can take a year plus to get pregnant but I just want it to hurry up and happen now! I always thought ttc would be fun but I'm definitely not enjoying it anymore after negatives every month

No AF for me today yet. I keep wakening up before 6am and just can’t sleep past then. My boobs don’t feel as sore so maybe AF will arrive later this evening or tomorrow.

Nothing to report here. At cycle day 27, AF usually arrives day 24-28 but has been 31 days a handful of times too so still a waiting game for me! No spotting today so far 🤞

No update yet, ordered more FRER's (lol) and some may arrive today, if no will grab some from shop on my lunch, the girls at Superdrug must think I'm mad!!

@mrsgtobe97 hope you're not spending too much on the FRERs 😆 I always buy the 2 pack for £7 on Amazon. I saw them at £15 in Boots when I looked in store months ago 😬 I have a pack of 2 here but really trying not to go near them as I already wasted 2 this cycle when testing early. I will have to use one by Friday before any weekend drinks though, if AF hasn't arrived.

@2020mission haha yeah I have spent a small fortune! Now I've had a faint line I'm soooo scared to retest 🙈 tempted to just go buy a pack now lol

Get yourself on Amazon and order some! I've got a double pack waiting for me if AF doesn't arrive... I can't believe how invested I am in this after just one month. I was on the fence about having another child for such a long time! Already dreaming up baby names...

Will do!! I had a dream last night I gave birth to a girl which I'm hoping is my bodies way of telling me I am pregnant but I'm terrified to test again incase the line is gone!!

When do you think your period is due @mrsgtobe97? Maybe test then!

I don't know if it was nothing but I felt a bit yucky when I woke up this morning... a bit nauseous but not anywhere close to being sick. I was fine after I ate some breakfast. I also woke up at 4am for a pee again. Don't usually get up during the night for the loo. Any spotting today @helia? Surely one of us have done it this month 🤞 when are you all classing yourself as officially late? For me, I'd say Friday.

@helia not a clue! I didn't track this cycle and I already have long and irregular periods so it's anyone's guess 😂 Just gonna keep testing and see what happens!

No spotting @2020mission and nothing when I wipe either but (TMI) I did have a slight brown tinge to a little bit of CM earlier. I'm really not sure what to make of all of this. It says online to wait three days after experiencing (possible) implantation bleeding before you take a test – before that, it’s unlikely you’ll have enough of the pregnancy hormone hCG to give a positive result. I don't know if I'll be alright with a FRER tomorrow though? Or if it is best to wait? Anyway maybe my period will have arrived before I get the chance...!

Sorry to hear of those who think they're out this month! Onto the next month and fingers crossed that'll be it! 🤞

I've tested today at 14DPO and got a BFN so I think I'm out this month. Just also got blood tests back which indicate PCOS which I have suspected for a long time, been referred for my ultrasound so just waiting for my appointment date and then hopefully we'll know more. GP wants to try and start me on some kind of medication to regulate my cycles if it is confirmed as PCOS so hopefully we'll get further soon 🤞

I'm starting to think the DPO thing is quite pointless as I've realised the tests really depend on when you implanted, anyone else agree? So really it seems you need to be 2-3 DPI (days past implantation 😆) before a viable test. I had tiny twinges of cramps on Friday night which is also when spotting started so I'm going to estimate that in the slim possibility that was implantation, I'm now 4 DPI. I had tested on a FRER the day before that cramping/spotting at 10 DPO and it was as white as you can get.

This is definitely my worst month of symptom spotting 😂 5 months in.

@Jurassiclover oh man, sorry to hear about the PCOS and BFN. At least the ball is rolling and you'll get sorted out and your cycles regulated, hugs 😊

Will update you all either once the postie comes or when I get more tests but just seems to good to be true xx

@2020mission yeah despite the BFN I'm feeling positive today as the ball is rolling in that area so hopefully we'll get some answers soon!

I've often wondered about that too! Because even if you tested at 12dpo when a lot of people would get a BFP, if you haven't implanted yet you can't get a BFP! It's so annoying that there's no sure fire way to know whether you've implanted or not hahaha

Yeah I fully agree with the implantation, as we are always lead to believe from reading online if you don't get a smidge or a line by 14dpo you're out, but what if you implant 12dpo and if HCG doubles every 48 hours and it starts really low it would take time! Xx

@mrsgtobe97 exactly my thinking too! And oh I'm sorry to hear of the BFN 😔 are you gonna try retesting in a few days just incase?

@mrsgtobe97 aww how long was the urine hold? Remember FMU is often recommended, or at least 4 hours of holding without drinking much water. You're not out until AF arrives!

Guys.. I just took the second one as I didn't believe the first one and I've gotten my pinkest / darkest line so far 😭😭😭

I’m too scared to go get a test!! AF is due today but no sign of it coming. I’ve been getting some white CM, usually when AF is coming I’d have some light brownish spotting but none of that yet.

I held the first one in the urine for too long as I didn't realise the box said 5 seconds only so I think it may be the hook affect that people talk about!!

@Sdoo4 it's so scary testing isn't it! Although could be a good sign that you've had white cm instead of brown etc! Good luck!🤞
