AF due on/around 11/07 2ww buddies

Hi all, I'm trying for my second baby. My first is 2 and that physical need for a newborn baby has crept back again!! This is my first cycle trying. I have a 28 day cycle but generally have late ovulation (usually between cd16-18) and therefore I have quite a short luteal phase. I don't usually test ovulation I just base this on the consistency (tmi) of my cm!

Anyway I'm about 3dpo now... Anyone else?

@Nazz10 - that sounds promising - got my fingers crossed for you! I'm planning on testing no earlier than next Friday, which will be 10dpo. I've got mild dull cramping on and off at the moment, feels v similar to when my period is a few days away ... strange! 🤔

@LT103 - I know - it's exciting! I'mjust trying not to get my hopes up I think, so telling myself I'm out so as not to be disappointed. It's only been 3 and half weeks since I came off the pill so early days.

It's just dawned on me. What if it's AF arriving? I mean it would be 1 week early but it's not impossible! I've not spotted that colour before though. It's usually always dark/bright red at the start. Never pink.. that I can remember anyway. Ugh probably gonna have a restless night thinking about it

Can I join you girls? I am 7 DPO, didn’t use sticks but had EWCM (sorry TMI)... DTD two days after... my first cycle off the pill so I know it’s early days but I am obviously symptom spotting! Doing tests everyday!

I am also due AF on the 11th XX

@nazz10 hopefully not. I had that last month and then spotted for 5 days but even that would make this really early for me so I’m still hoping. No more spotting so far since yesterday afternoon but think I’ll wait a day before I say it’s over. Left my free in bathroom with every intention of testing this morning then decided against it. I’ll be sensible and test tomorrow at 10dpo rather than waste too many tests. Might do a cheapie later

Hi all, I posted on another trend last month, but it's now closed. I thought I was pregnant as my period was 5 days late and I had some symptoms. It turned out I wasn't, I never tested positive. However, this month I am, after 9 months of trying. I got my bfp and barely had any symptoms, just very very very light cramping in my belly, less that PMS.

The only thing I did differently this cycle was intermittent fasting. It helped a lot to reduce my belly fat. I think this helped me get pregnant. I took the advice of a friend who did get pregnant last month after intermittent fasting.

I also think I was less stressed. I hope all of you receive great news soon. Xx

Hi all, I'm cycle number 5, due on the 11th. I've had ovulation pains each month, last months were really bad especially on the main day it hurt to sit down! Then this month I had nothing really, couple of twinges. Anyone else had this? I don't know if this is normal with ovulation as I was on the pill so long before. Not holding out much hope at all, although I'm sure by the end of the week I won't be able to help it

I am an IFer too. I've reduced my fasting since I started ttc though as i read it could prevent ovulation!
I was on 20:4 and have switched to somewhere between 18:6 and 16:8.
I also worried a bit because fasting isn't reccommend during pregnancy and I was worried about causing problems in the tww. How have you handled that?

I caved and did a test this morning: BFN
Not a surprise as I'm anywhere between 9 and 6dpo but I can't help being disappointed.

@Lovebug06 I do get ovulation pains but not every month, or maybe I just don't notice it every month.

@Lovebug06 I get really bad ovulation pains too. This month especially bad, I had to take paracetamol during the night. Some months not so bad - maybe it depends on what side we're ovulating from? I'm not sure but it's the same for me!

Ps caved again today and tested early this morning - 9dpo and bfn on Internet cheapie strip 😔

@ARIO it’s still early. Also 9dpo and I sat my frer in the bathroom last night with every intention of testing this morning then didn’t. I figured if yesterday was start of af then it will be negative but if it’s implantation, I’m best waiting til tomorrow. So I’ll test then! 🤞🤞

No more spotting since yesterday afternoon so will see what happens today

Hello everyone, TTC #2, 1st cycle. Caved this morning and poas but BFN. Not surprised as I think I got timings wrong of ovulation so not surprised. Fingers crossed for all!

I think I'm 10 dpo but hard to know for sure, didn't get bfp until few days later with #1 so not entirely given up hope for this month!

@biteysaurus Same here, my little girl has just turned 2 and she's Bing mad! You're not out until AF arrives!

How important is the 4 hour thing for pregnancy tests. I’m up several times a night and I don’t think I can hold it 4 hours during the day 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Last night I think I was up at 1, 4 and 6....this isn’t a symptom I’m always like this hahaha

8dpo and Af cramps in hips and back. 😔

If you can't wait 4 hours it might just mean you won't get an accurate result until a couple of days later than if you test after a night of sleep.

@LT103 I'm not sure it matters too much. Obviously the longer you leave it to go the more potent you're urine will be. If you get pregnant the HCG levels rise dramatically so it'll be picked up in your urine anytime. It might just be that you can't get any super early results and have to wait a few more days.

@20Thewhalewhisperer I did the 16:8 I didn't eat anything after 8pm and until midday. It's easier for me to skip breakfast. I didn't do it every day, but most days, where I felt weak, I ate.

Hoping it means something

Hoping I can join you ladies? TTC #2, although not strictly trying! Cycles are now 25 days since having first DC, so not sure when I'm ovulating. Bought ovulation tests. Tried 3 altogether, only 1 worked. No idea how or what happened to other 2, so gave up on those. Going by fertility apps, but still unsure how accurate they are! Only started trying in the last two months. We conceived DC1 in the first month, but my cycles were like clockwork then (and I wasn't even tracking them, we were just very lucky!). Finding it hard to DTD as much as we'd like as we're both so exhausted, especially after little one, so can't be too disheartened if don't conceive yet. We need to do it more, and I need to be certain of my ovulation days! Anyway, AF due 9/10 July....so let's see. Fingers crossed, and good luck to you all xx
