AF due on/around 11/07 2ww buddies

Hi all, I'm trying for my second baby. My first is 2 and that physical need for a newborn baby has crept back again!! This is my first cycle trying. I have a 28 day cycle but generally have late ovulation (usually between cd16-18) and therefore I have quite a short luteal phase. I don't usually test ovulation I just base this on the consistency (tmi) of my cm!

Anyway I'm about 3dpo now... Anyone else?

A few typos in last post, typing too fast and didn't re-read before posting!! My cycles are 35 days, not that it makes much difference! Haven't got a clue how many DPO I am as my tests wouldn't flash after I peed on them!

Hey @Butterbean11 of course, welcome! Ah yes I share that trouble... Its not easy "getting down to business" with a toddler. They're bloody hard work.. Not sure how I'll come with a newborn baby as well if one comes along haha.

We conceived first month of trying last time too, again, just incredibly lucky. So this whole experience of "actively trying" and waiting etc is all quite new!

Anyone planning on testing in the morning? I'm sure I will again!!

@ARIO yup - tested this morning and BFN with a internet cheapie. Don’t know why we do it, I’m 10DPO so it was almost certainly going to be negative 😂

I got a tiny little faint line this morning on my ic 😬😬😬. Will test tomorrow with an frer and let you know!!!! Not getting hopes up cos I was sure this was af coming!

@ARIO totally agree, this whole concept of tracking, trying and waiting is all very new to me.

Dying to test, but really not in the mood to see BFN today, so will wait til Friday.

Took a frer this morning and got a line straightway. Also did a cheapie but nothing at all on that.

I’m hoping for progression tomorrow. I had a very nasty evap on a frer last cycle but this line showed up after 1 minute. I’d like to think I’m not that unlucky to have Evaps on two separate batches bought at different times

That’s mine this morning at 10 dpo. I’m going to do a first response tomorrow so will see what it shows. Like you, I’m not getting my hopes up til I get past next weekend which is when af is due

Another BFN for me, AF due later this week.
Didn't get BFP with DC1 until CD32/missed period, so fingers crossed for us all x

@ARIO yes just came out of nowhere. I had very light spotting the past 2 days. Started off dark pink then got lighter yesterday and now it's like a completely different story. That was 25 days... luteal phase of 8/9 days. Is that even normal?!

Ah sorry to hear that @Nazz10 I have been known to have really short cycles some months too. Max is 28 days but sometimes 25. At least you don't have to wait as along as others and better AF came early rather than late. I'm sorry though 😔 I think mine is coming any time.. I've even put a pad in today because it really feels like it. Just want it to hurry up and arrive if its going to because the wait is killing me!

@ARIO I'm glad I'm not the only one. Yeah that's one thing that's good about it, that we can get onto the next cycle now but just a bit worried about the short luteal phase. That's surely not enough time for implantation to even take place. I'll do some research tonight and tomorrow and prepare for a new cycle. Aww I hope it doesn't arrive for you. How many dpo are you? Or what cycle day are you?

Thanks @Nazz10 I remember worrying about a short luteal phase when I was TTC my first. I remember taking a vitamin B supplement and my cycles lengthened.. Maybe have a look into it. I'm 10DPO today and cycle day 24 x

@ARIO ooh that might be a good idea actually. I hear you can have vitamin b deficiencies after stopping the pill. Maybe that's what is contributing to it. Thanks. Aww fingers crossed AF stays away 🤞🏼

Hmmmm so I checked an frer today and it was negative. No idea what’s happening now so will give it a couple more days and check again
