@lucieloos sounds like you have had a lovely time! 😁 we are away this weekend to the seaside and I am so looking forward to it ☀️ 🌊 seems like you have reached some acceptance as well with what will be will be- I’m feeling the same and I’m finding it has made me so much more relaxed focussing on all the things we have to look forward to if this doesn’t happen for us... to the point I’d be so shocked if it did happen as I’ve been plotting and planning life as if it isn’t going to! 😅 glad you are doing good, so important to enjoy life and all that you have... and if another little one happens then that’s a lovely bonus 🙏

@Wavesandsmilesagain is there an enhanced maternity package where you are or one at the new place? It sounds exciting, if you're potentially going to end up doing more work for the same pay where you are I'd go for the new role.

We're at the seaside this week too. It's lovely to have a break but the boys are SO naughty it's putting me off having another one a little bit. Typically I've also been on my period all week and will be in FW next week when we've both got a shedload off work to do 😖

Well... good job I didn't take that test... that witch AF got me and technically a day early (although only by 3 hours) grr. I'm truly gutted. I really hoped for this month.

It' s been a horrible week and this was the only potential good thing on the horizon.. oh well... CD1 Cycle 3...

Thanks to so many for the advice. I guess I’ll give the final interview my best shot (i am the only person they want to see at this stage after 3 months searching). Maternity wise I’m not in Uk and I’d be entitled to 12 weeks full pay thanks to the state regardless of how long I’ve been in the job, and since DP works nights and only 3/4 times a week on a rota, then it would be manageable anyway to return to work after that. Where I’m now I could take a lot more time off on 80% salary but I’m the main earner so we’ve not really considered that I’d take a long time off. So keeping fingers crossed for everything I guess! Although with the antibiotics this month I think I’ll just relax and not get my hopes up this time.

Oh frida we can all relate to that awful feeling doesn’t help that AF comes with pms as well - making it all so much harder.

Having awful awful PMS these last few days. So furiously angry at the smallest of things.

Today, my 3-year-old wasn’t listening and did something he shouldn’t have and I yelled at him badly, and now I hate myself. I feel like an awful, evil witch. I was angrier than I would normally be, if I didn’t have PMS (which I’m finding harder than usual as I know it means AF is around the corner). Ahh! Sorry, just needed to vent.

@Wavesandsmilesagain another one who says take the job! Sounds like an amazing opportunity and with a 40% salary increase you could consider putting that aside to help if there might be issues with maternity pay

So the OPK started flashing for me yesterday, wasn’t expecting that until tomorrow or Sunday going by the CLUE app which is what I’ve been following, so now wondering if I’ve been missing the ‘good’ dates all along. DTD last night and this morning after another flashing smiley, despite the MIL being here 😂

I've had mild cramping, a permanent headache and really sore boobs since Monday. Last night and this morning I have had brown discharge when I wiped. Praying it's from implantation. Going to try and wait to test on Tues, which would be 15 days since I think I ovulated. Does this sound an OK day to test? No idea when period should be as I have recently had Mirena removed and haven't had AF x

CD14 here and the Clearblue fertility monitor is still showing low. I'm so worried I've messed up my cycle by trying supplements, even though I'm off everything again except folic, Vit D and ubiquinone. Next month will be 12 months since I stopped the pill so I'll be making an appointment with the GP if nothing comes of this cycle. I know I could make an appointment now but I want to try to relax about it more this time and know I have a plan if I get AF, which I probably will!

@Tiletiletile1 I can totally relate, you have my sympathies! I'm in Cd4, have had a migraine since Wednesday and for 3 days have literally just wanted to scream at people. For absolutely nothing. 🤷‍♀️ I only came off the pill on 9th June and this is my first period. I'd forgotten how bad it can feel...

Periods are so crappy aren't they, it's all pretty grim. Imagine if men had to go through this!

I’m in the tww now and I’m obsessing too much as I’m really pinning my hopes on it being this month. I think because I had an early mc in May and they say you are more fertile after I’m clinging to that, that this is going to be the month! I’m trying to chill myself out as I have have at least 10 days to wait, but most of us know it’s not that easy!
