On the subject of opks, I was expecting a positive today... did one this morning, negative, this afternoon at 2pm negative and at 4 pm later positive!

Just goes to show how quick these can change!!

@babesinthewud I’ve just started tracking this morning th and using the femometer sticks which were super cheap (think it was around £10 for 40 ovulation sticks and 10 pregnancy ones on amazon) but you take photos of them with the app and it tells you. Not as easy as the Clearblue smiley face I’ve heard but working so far

Afternoon all, hope the new thread brings lots of BFPs!
I’ve been man down all day with a migraine but feeling a bit better now I’ve actually thrown up. Just need the headache to do one now. AF is due tomorrow so I’m sure that doesn’t help.
In baby-making news, I’ve had a voicemail from the clinic to say there’s a letter in the post for me, so I either wait til that arrives or (more likely!) call them back tomorrow

I'm CD7 here so nothing to report & still won't be ovulating for over a week😴
Finding it stressful now as been tracking ovulation last 3 months so know we've been DTD at the right times, & been having unprotected sex for a year now.
Really feel like I need to take the relaxed approach & stop tracking everything if this month isn't successful & what will be will be, even though that kills me to say that, I'm just finding that these last couple months it's all I've thought about & it's consuming me & making me miserable 🤦‍♀️

@lucieloos Thanks for the tips, I got the cheapie ones to try. But I'm tracking bbt and cm too. Overkill lol :)

Mind you, won't make any difference it he can't come round...

I just use cheap opks and find them grand as long as dtd is regular over fertile week probably doesn’t really matter about opks. But it does help retain some control over all of this as drove me mad last month not knowing how many dpo I was

Who would POAS at 6.30pm (not after a long hold) at about 7DPO and expect a result?! A crazy person that's who!
FYI don't ever use Sainsburys own PT, still getting dodgy indents and evaps (FRER yesterday was negative). Have ordered some more for tomorrow 😂

@lastditchattempt20 🙋‍♀️ yup that would be me too and even convinced myself that the indents / evaps are bfps and I'm pregnant. Having said that I did get a bfp with my son at 8dpo so I blame that.

I only know because I got one at 4-5dpo which is practically biologically impossible and then negative FRER so I'm not trusting them. Plus the evap are v narrow line, don't look like a positive test at all.

I had been getting them on frers. Find them so bad now. You can see another line on most of them before you even pee on them!

That went quick🙉 I'm due to ovulate around 3rd July so still got over a week left😫😴 I've definitely decided that this month will be the last time I track ovulation. Going to give it a break after that & just try & go with the flow. I'll have a rough idea when ovulation will happen as since I've been tracking I've noticed I get the EWCM & I get ovulation pains. I know it'll drive me crazy every month not knowing what DPO I am🙉
When would your AF be due next month? I'm roughly due 15th July if I get a 28day cycle like I normally do. But this month it bloody came at CD25 & thats never happened so I'm hoping my it was just a one off & my cycles aren't changing! X

I'm back after taking a hiatus - thought it had lost you guys

It's been a weird 3 months with covid and life work balance being thrown out the window

I'm 37 , ttc no.3 after 4 mmc in 2 years

Currently have a 15 and 4 year old ... truly blessed already

I've decided to try until December ( 6 cycles ) if it doesn't happen - then so be it

I'm not going to track or continue and find peace with it

Hello all! I am joining the new thread too :-) i am still trying to work out the whole mumsnet thing. To remind, i am 41, ttc cycle 1, have one child age 8 already. Currently 7dpo, time to test soon! I am working from home and i have been working late nights, drinking coffee, so its not going to be a great start...i felt so pregnant first few days after O 😂, now i feel nothig 🤷‍♀️

@YellaHella testing buddies!. 7DPO here also.
BFN on a FRER this morning and really no promising symptoms... Plan is to wait till weekend before testing again. Although app has AF arriving on Monday (short cycle last month), so might not have to wonder much longer 😕

@lastditchattempt20 the same here 🙋‍♀️ bfn this morning too, i couldnt resist. will try again on saturday... i feel a bit nauseous here and there, but i think its from something in prenatal vitamins rather than being pregnant. Feels like this process is going to be like a lottery, hoping for one lucky egg 😂

I've had a strange cycle myself. Positive OPK on CD 11 (I'm always day 14). I think it's probably the soy isoflavones I took this month. I'm also quite short tempered the last few days which is not at all normal for me. Anyone noticed this with soy Isoflavones?
Anyway despite working opposite shifts to my OH all ovulation week we inadvertently ended up doing SMEP, using pre-ceed and my Ferti-lily so I've given it a good shot.

I'm currently 11DPO but I'm 90% sure I'm out this month and I'm an avid cervix checker 🙄 but I'll probably POS tomorrow

Anyone else due to test in the next few days?

I thought I wasn't due to ovulate till 3rd July but I started getting flashing smileys yesterday on opk and fertile looking ewcm so looks like I'm ovulation earlier than planned this month

@lastditchattempt20 and @YellaHella living my poas dream through you both... it’s an expensive hobbie though gals... would you not just order a load of cheapy hpt from amazon? Then not pissing £ away each time? I’ve got some here and plan to test Monday when I am 8doo (or before 😳 if the impulse gets me)
