@Annna41 I have noted down your strategy, thanks for sharing, looks like you've given it a really good shot indeed. We have just started casually this cycle, and I am learning it all now, feeling a bit like 40+ teenager. Previous pregnancy was easy, then followed by mirena, so I never really paid any attention to my fertility. Good luck with your POS tomorrow.

@Loladoodle sitting on your hands! Hahaha! I thought i can wait till at least 9dpo. But noo! I had to run to the shop in the morning at 7dpo. 🏃‍♀️ 😂 i need to order those cheap ones!

Hi @Rumi1 ! We're going to try until November, also ttc #3, then if it's not meant to be it's not meant to be.

@loladoodle would love to but the only really sensitive ICs (less than 25) are on a weeks delivery from Amazon and by then I would (hopefully) be able to use supermarket ones. Maybe I'll think about it again and order some.

@claireb707 that's good you've started to get flashing! How many days if them do you normally get, I can get anywhere from 1-3 before peak. But some ladies can get upto 9! What CD are you?

I can get anything from 3-7 flashing days before solid not sure.
I'm cd9 today, normally have 28-30 day cycle and ovulate around day 15 though cycle before last I had a ropey 44 day one

Soooo cd13 and got my peak opk this morning! 😄. At least I know things are working ok, I Know it doesn’t guarantee ovulation but I worried after My last really odd cycle that things weren’t working properly which is why I started testing haha.
Dtd cd 8, 9, 10, 11 and this morning. Think I’d be pushing it to go for tomorrow too but fairly sure we’re covered. Just a waiting game now!!!

@LT103 wow that chart shows just how quickly you can get your peak! Good luck!
@Annna41 I've started checking my cervix position recently and I'm having to erm 'reach' a lot further atm 😳 and can barely touch it. Could it be hiding anywhere else? 😁 is this a good sign at 7DPO? It was def. lower before as was checking for CM around ovulation. V impressed at your self restraint. @Loladoodle and I are thinking of forming a support group for all us POAS addicts. 🙈

@lastditchattempt20 we would need to do something radical! Sometimes I tell myself I could have mysteriously ovulated much earlier without realising so that I can poas sooner than 8dpo 🤪 seriously someone slap me 👋

Im ttc. Im 38. I have 3 children aged 17 13 and 11. New partner so would like one together.
I came of my pill 6th June. Had slight spotting for 2 days then nothing.
I've been using ovulation strips and looks like I peaked around 19th. So just a waiting game now.

Dying to test.

My peak was 19th as well 😅 af due 5th July. Going to poas on Monday at 8dpo ... way early but I can’t help myself!

I'm feeling very sweaty

Spent a good half hour googling again there which I shouldn’t do. But is it just me or should they teach this stuff at school! Maybe I’m just completely naive but I’m 38 and I didn’t know half of this stuff about my body. I didn’t even know which time I was fertile and not prior to starting ttc 🤦🏻‍♀️ Really I feel like this is a steep learning curve!

@claireb707 I go from horny 😈 In fertile week... to ... don’t annoy me or breathe ... the week after 🤪 poor dp he doesn’t know if he’s coming (mind the pun) or going! 😅

@lastditchattempt20 I hear some mixed reviews regarding the cervix but if its different to usual I'd take it as a good sign. I'll keep everything crossed for you too 🤞

Well AF is supposedly due in a few days, but cervix is high (I think!) and I don't feel like I have my standard PMS which is normally awful emotionally. Having some yellow CM and keep checking for pink (had implantation bleed with DC1). Boobs bit different but nothing drastic. Trying to keep realistic, even if something implants its a long road ahead! Hope everyone is keeping cool!

I'm on cd 6 and hoping and hoping that my donor can come round next week. I don't understand how he doesn't know if he will be free or not.

When I'm back at my evening job, I may need to take time off to do this and I can't do that if he has no clue whether he's free. It would be a bit much to take time off from my work and he doesn't show.

I get really exasperated about the men folk.

I'm joining in on the poas thing. My lh was high yesterday and low today. I heard that it can be high after af and go down again.

I've changed the dates of the soy, I'm doing 5-9 and put the dosage down to 60 mg. I read an article that said older eggs don't cope with a huge amount of fsh so I'm trying to give things a small nudge and not a mightly huge one.

Good luck for everyone at the different bits of the cycle and sorry I'm not around too much. Got a lot of studying to do just now. :)

@Hayleywoody82 no not frer I couldn’t afford my poas habit if I used those 🤣 I have lots of cheap amazon tests so doesn’t matter if they are wasted. If I got a pos on them I’d buy a CB & frer to confirm results

@Chlo2701 @claireb707 acc to my trackers, I average at around 26 days/cycle?! 🤔 I haven't started doing OPKs, just going to DTD everyday on the predicted fertile window period! Three apps are all saying it will start from tomorrow, and I'm regular, so hopefully we'll catch ovulation! 😃 Although it's gonna be sweaty in this heat! 🤣🙈
