@Suki2020 @Newbie0818 sorry to hear about AF showing up 😕
I'm on 8dpo, feeling nothing yet!

Newbie0818 · 05/07/2020 13:26

@Suki2020 mine was 53, last one was 57, but they'll never be the same with pcos.
It's good yours was shorter :)

@SarahTTC2020 still early days yet 🤞🏼

Suki2020 · 05/07/2020 16:59

@Newbie0818 I’m just hoping they keep getting shorter. Is there anything you can take to shorten your cycle with pcos?
@SarahTTC2020 keeping fingers crossed for you.

Newbie0818 · 05/07/2020 17:23

@Suki2020 well the inositol stuff works like clomid but you can buy it anywhere, so I'm going to give that a go :) lots of good reviews for cycle regulation in women with pcos.

SarahTTC2020 · 05/07/2020 21:17

@Newbie0818 I've seen lots of good stuff about it for pcos, also lower carb diet? But that seems miserable so maybe just start with the supplement!

Newbie0818 · 06/07/2020 07:40

@SarahTTC2020 definitely, I'm lucky to be quite slim with it as I know a lot of women out on weight, but the sugar and carbs can still be an issue so I'm slowly trying to cut out what I can without losing my mind 🤣

Rosegold3112 · 07/07/2020 05:34

Anxiety alert! Took my temp this morning (supposedly at 5-7dpo) and it had taken a big dip! Fertility friend changed my predicted o date yesterday and with it the cover line and this dip was well below that. Now it's changed it back to its original thought of cd 30 so the temp is only just over the cover line but it's around the average temp I had before o. Does this mean I didn't ovulate? Is af on her way? Do I have low progesterone? Ugh I was just starting to feel more relaxed 😣

8dpo - no symptoms really apart from a few spots, bit moody and tired. I have a feeling AF is here. What symptoms (if any) are you all having? Really want to test but still think it's way too early!

duckii · 07/07/2020 08:59

I mean AF will be on her way soon!**

xoJellyBean · 07/07/2020 09:33

@Rosegold3112 a dip at 7dpo a could also mean implantation too! Don't stress 🥰 although this is why I've taken a break, mentally couldn't cope with all the anxiety and questions lol also think I have low progesterone 🤦🏼‍♀️ x

Hi ladies, I went awol for a bit as I found out my grandmother passed away on Monday morning 💔 it's been a crappy week but I'm getting there.
Starting inositol supplements today which have had rave reviews for women with pcos, so here's hoping 🤞🏼

How is everyone doing?

So sorry to hear about your loss. Hope you're doing okay! I am interested in inositol, let me know how you get on!
SarahTTC2020 · 08/07/2020 08:47

@Newbie0818 was sorry to hear about your grandmother ♥️ hope the inositol works well for you
I'm on 11dpo but not a smidge of a symptom. Rhr has dropped 3 and felt a bit sad all day yesterday so expecting AF soon!

fifi1989 · 08/07/2020 12:00

Hope you don't mind me joining here, I used to post a bit in thread #1. Just wanted to chime in on inositol - I took Inofolic Alpha for 4 months and while it didn't make my cycles shorter, it did make them incredibly regular. Ovulation pretty much on the same day every month and 14 day luteal phase. Would definitely recommend! I have lean PCOS with irregular cycles and cysts.

Tink2019 · 08/07/2020 12:30

Hi ladies, is it OK to join you? I'm on a few other TTC threads, only just come across this one 😊 My cycles average 33 days, but do fluctuate every month - last month 28 days, this month I'm on CD38 (13DPO and AF due today - my temps have been dropping so think it's definitely on its way).

This is month 10 trying for us, so just wondered if anyone had any tips on bringing O forward / shortening cycles / trying to make them regular naturally? I have suspected PCOS and endometriosis - having bloods and a scan once AF arrives. I read B6 is good for hormone control so might try that as my temps rise very slowly after O then fall very slowly and often don't drop very low until just before next O (will attach my current chart) which I think could indicate oestrogen-progesterone deficiency? 🤷🏼‍♀️

(Sorry if any of you are on other threads with me - I've posted this chart twice today already! Just losing the will a bit now and the more I look at my temps the more they just don't look like all those other charts with pre-O temps below the cover line and an instant temp shift.)

@Newbie0818 sorry to hear about your grandmother, sending hugs.
Have you ever tried Agnus castus?

Tink2019 · 08/07/2020 15:06

Just had a chance to read back a few messages - apologies just joined earlier without having 5 mins to read!
@Rosegold3112 fingers crossed that's an implantation dip 🤞🏻

@Newbie0818 hope you're doing ok after the news of your grandmother x

@duckii hope AF stays away for you!

Newbie0818 · 08/07/2020 17:04

Thank you ladies for your lovely words ❤️ I'm getting there.

I haven't tried Agnus Castus and was initially going to try it this cycle, but then I came across inositol and it had such great reviews for pcos that I couldn't resist. I'm very aware that everyone is different though and what works for one lady might not for others, so I'll give it a go for a few months and see what happens.

@Tink2019 we've met on the pcos thread :) I don't have many tips other than what I'm just about to try with inositol really. I tried seed cycling this month but it's quite difficult with such irregular cycles and I'm not sure how well it works if you've got underlying issues. The b vitamins seem to have great reviews. Hopefully someone else can shed some light!

Tink2019 · 08/07/2020 20:47

@Newbie0818 glad to hear you're doing ok 😊

I've not heard of seed cycling, what is it? Be interested to hear how it goes with Myo-insitol, have also read good stuff. I think I'm going to hold off getting any until my bloods etc are back but might try B6 next cycle just to see if it helps temps and PMS. Thank you for replying, seem to be having quite a few upset / worrying days this cycle and these forums always help x

Newbie0818 · 08/07/2020 21:30

@Tink2019 so it's where you eat different seeds to coincide with the follicular phase and then the luteal phase, and they support the production of oestrogen and then progesterone. So you're meant to eat pumpkin seeds and flax seeds from your period until ovulation, and then after ovulation you switch to sunflower seeds and sesame seeds until af/ bfp. You have a tablespoon of each ground up in a smoothie or sprinkled over porridge etc, but ground is best. The idea is that they support the hormones, but a lot of people try to regulate irregular cycles by using the seeds in relation to phases of the moon, so take the "oestrogen" seeds for 14 days from the full moon, then switch and take the progesterone seeds for the last 14 days until the next full moon.
Totally aware of how insane I sound but I was willing to try anything 😂 this might explain it better: www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.mindbodygreen.com/articles/seed-cycling-benefits-and-how-it-works

And totally get how you feel, these threads have been so helpful and make you feel less alone in it all :) I'll let you know how the inositol works!

Tink2019 · 08/07/2020 21:55

@Newbie0818 you don't sound insane at all, my google history is absolutely crazy this months! I do love seeds, but I have a memory like a sieve so just think I'd end up getting confused and eating the wrong thing...and I do think my husband will think I've finally lost the plot! He just said to me "what happened to no pressure", think I might need to try ditching OPKs and temps if I can for a cycle or two 😬

SarahTTC2020 · 09/07/2020 13:57

How are we all doing??

I'm 12dpo and AF due Saturday... Tempted to test in the morning? I think I'm out but then last cycle I got loads of spots on my neck come up and they haven't come up this time.
Also this cycle would be over 10 days shorter than normal

Newbie0818 · 09/07/2020 18:14

@Tink2019 it does funny things to you this ttc business doesn't it haha. My dh already thinks I'm mad 🤣

@SarahTTC2020 I should think at 12dpo you'd get a good bfp if that's the case! Did you have any signs of implantation/ any other symptoms apart from the spot thing?

Tink2019 · 09/07/2020 18:34

@Newbie0818 it really does! AF has arrived for me now so at least I can blame my crazy emotions over the last week on terrible PMS!

duckii · 09/07/2020 19:15

Not managed to catch up as Ive been so busy with work but hope you girls are ok!! I have a Q. If I ovulated on CD23, and my average cycle length is 42 days.. my predicted AF is CD42. But will it not be 14 days from when I ovulated? Sorry if this is dumb, I have irregular cycles but usually around the 42 day mark and this is the first time I used opks! Want to know when I should test.. I'm 10dpo.
