I feel so tired, sore boobs, and keep randomly feeling v hot and then cold. I'm supposedly 4dpo which I know is early for symptoms. But has anyone felt the same or what symptoms are you feeling (if any) around 4dpo?

hollywhooo · 03/07/2020 18:56

Hiyya girls, sorry i’ve been quiet been trying not to think about anything TTC related which clearly isnt working as here i am haha.
@Newbie0818 how exciting for you. Fingers crossed for the morning 🤞🏼
I did an OPK yesterday and the test line was literally non existent. Did one just now and my app has given me a peak reading - it doesnt even look that dark to me 🤷🏼‍♀️ What do you girls think??

@duckii I had that just post ov, I think it's the sudden progesterone dip, as you say way too early for any symptoms. I think it's fairly normal though :)

@hollywhooo yay you're back! And thanks :)
Looks like it's getting there, keep doing the opk's, you might find you've just missed your peak or are just approaching it.

duckii · 03/07/2020 19:25

@Newbie0818 thanks, I'm trying to ignore any symptom and be patient. (I wish lol). Fingers crossed and baby dust for you for tomorrow!

hollywhooo · 03/07/2020 19:26

Thank you @Newbie0818 i’ll keep trying. I hope not cos we haven’t had sex in a week haha!!! I’m only CD 19 so it would be a miracle for me if i’ve ovulated so early!!!

xoJellyBean · 03/07/2020 20:54

Heyyy everyone. How are you all?

Newbie0818 · 03/07/2020 21:10

@duckii it's so hard though isn't it lol. So easy to get carried away. Thank you :)

@hollywhooo get on it girl! And hopefully it's an early one for you 🤞🏼

@xoJellyBean hi! We missed you :) I'm good, finally testing tomorrow. Past few days have been torture lol.
How are you?

MrsL1994 · 03/07/2020 21:35

Hi Ladies, I hope you don't mind me joining your thread as I think you guys might be able to help put my mind at rest. I was on Cilest for 18 years and came off it in November. I had WB and then my next AF came 12 weeks later. After that I had AF at 4 weeks then 4 weeks. We then moved home and had some work pressure and am now on 12 weeks and waiting. Has anyone else experienced fluctuation like this? I came off the pill to get my cycle back before trying but the longer its taking the more worried I am, especially being 36.

Newbie0818 · 04/07/2020 08:16

@MrsL1994 hey :) I was on cilest too. I've been having fluctuations and recently found out it's because of pcos. We're your cycles normal before the pill? It can mask a lot of issues. But also, they say it can take 6-12 months for your periods to regulate after the pill too so it might just be your body finding its own rhythm again

Newbie0818 · 04/07/2020 08:16

Big surprise, another BFN 😑 god I hate my body

Suki2020 · 04/07/2020 08:23

@Newbie0818 sorry hun sending hugs. How is your temp this morning? Mines taking another drop today so I think af is definitely on her way for me.

duckii · 04/07/2020 08:27

So sorry @Newbie0818 could there still be a chance? Not sure what spot you're on. I guess it's much harder for us with long, unusual cycles! Stay positive for the next cycle.

Newbie0818 · 04/07/2020 09:02

@Suki2020 this is what I don't understand, it's back up! And I woke up feeling nauseous. Either I'm temping wrong or testing wrong 🤣 sorry your temp has dropped :(

@duckii honestly it's anyone's guess. So frustrating isn't it!

How are you ladies? Any plans for this rainy weekend?

hollywhooo · 04/07/2020 09:14

Awww sorry @Newbie0818 hope you’re feeling okay.
I had an awful night’s sleep, then woke up and was sick 🤷🏼‍♀️ so i’m going back to bed for an hour. Then another day of lockdown fun!

MrsL1994 · 04/07/2020 09:37

@Newbie0818 I was regular before but I suppose anything could change in 18 years. Hopefully it's just finding its rhythm. How long should I wait before seeing the GP?

JanQi · 04/07/2020 09:54

@Newbie0818 So sorry about the BFN, I hope you're okay.

@hollywhooo snap! Tossed and turned all night and then threw up this morning. I've got that horrible hungover feeling you get when you've had no sleep. Sounds like we both need a duvet day!

I'm feeling so disheartened this month and so jealous of people who have regular cycles Sad. I was due to ovulate on either the 30th or the 1st, so we've been DTD every other night for the last two weeks to make sure we catch it. I had what I thought was ovulation pain but no EWCM and now I have absolutely no idea if I've ovulated. My anxiety brain is immediately jumping to the conclusion that I never ovulate (I've never monitored my CM before). If there's no joy this month I'll start with the OPKs/temping, I just know I'll immediately start obsessing over those too though.

It sounds absolutely ridiculous when I write it out because for all I know I have ovulated and everything is fine. I think I'm also stressing because I know I'm going to be anxious and worried until I have a healthy baby in my arms (and actually, let's be real, probably not until I have a healthy 40-year-old!)

Sorry for the rant guys, hope you're all having a lovely Saturday morning.

Newbie0818 · 04/07/2020 10:21

@hollywhooo oh no! Hope you feel better soon.

@MrsL1994 I'd wait until af comes, or if you haven't had a period for more than 2 months then book in with your gp. I would say don't mentioned you're ttc though, just say you're worried about your irregular cycles as they are more likely to get tests done that way I've found.

@JanQi you have every right to rant! It's so annoying isn't it. So unfair. And it's then it knowing that makes you worry most I think, that's why I started temping. But even that isn't definitive apparently! Try to do things you enjoy today x

Rosegold3112 · 04/07/2020 10:41

@newbie0818 so sorry about your bfn. But you're not out until af so don't lose heart

@janQi I know exactly how you feel! I'm sure you do ovulate but I think it's totally natural to doubt and think the worst. I'm only on my 2nd month ttc but the first month I was clueless. I'd never even heard of cm or anything and assuming I still had regular cycles, looking out for all the signs I learnt through the apps and forums it was textbook for a 28 day cycle. Ewcm around cd 12 - 14, cramps that could have been ovulation pain. It was only when my period was nearly 2 weeks late that I realised it was either in my head or my body preparing and just never seeing it through. Tracking this month has been hard and very emotionally draining! Every morning I woke up with low temps and every opk I did with barely even a line I felt more and more like a failure and wasn't sure what I was putting myself through. I still got ewcm early on, and had on and off cramps. If you feel up to it maybe monitor next cycle just to get a better idea what is going on and then you have something to show the Dr if nothing happens. Worrying about it can definitely stress your body a lot too though which can delay things as well. No one really tells you just how stressful and emotional ttc really is 😔 enjoy dtd for now though

Today I got my 2nd high temp, lower than yesterday though and my fertility friend has come up with a predicted ovulation date. I disagree with it though. What's everyone's opinions here? It's predicting I ovulated on cd 30 which is the day I got my positive opk but my temps the following 2 days stayed the same and well within normal range. I think I actually ovulated on cd 32 as that was the day before I got a big temp rise 🤷‍♀️

Hey guys, sorry I keep going awol! Life is busy lol🤪 not ttc this month but we were about to dtd so thought i would take an opk as I noticed ewcm a couple of days ago (maybe 3? Not tracking) and this came up, positive? Better avoiding dtd? Hope yous are all well x

I came on today, on CD36. My last cycle was 33 days so there goes any hope of them gradually getting shorter (and back to my usual 28 days) after the chemical pregnancy.

I think what’s really frustrating for me is I’m now not due for ovulation until the 24th. Christ. Going to order in an absurd amount of OPKs though because don’t want to risk missing it!

Rosegold3112 · 05/07/2020 05:16

@xoJellyBean I don't think it's quite positive but it's either on its way up or it's way down so depends what you want to hold off dtd for.

Another high temp for me today so I've def ovulated I think 😊😊

Newbie0818 · 05/07/2020 09:02

Well af has officially arrived! I'm going to be trying Myoinostol this cycle as it's recommended for people with pcos and I'm willing to try anything now!

@FlyRobinFly sorry about af :( but don't forget your cycles will vary a little bit perhaps before regulating.

@Rosegold3112 that's good!

Newbie0818 · 05/07/2020 09:03

@xoJellyBean I agree it's not positive yet, but as you said if it's that dark maybe avoid if you're not trying this month. Must feel so unnatural after spending so long trying!

Suki2020 · 05/07/2020 09:49

@Newbie0818 sorry af has arrived, mine has too. I’m happy that I had a shorter cycle of 42days this time though. How long was you cycle?
