Thanks for your reply orange much appreciated.

Sounds like it could be something to rule out.

Annny27 · 18/09/2020 18:31

Its this kind of Friday night because AF has arrived 😂😂

@XjustagirlX omg so strange for the same thing to happen again with the bleeding and then positive! Have your 2nd bloods come back yet? Xx

@Lozzlepop that's crazy that you're still on furlough! Is your fiance working? And how's the wedding plans coming along? Yeah progesterone is fine, had some spotting this month though so not the absolute saving grace that I anticipated! But prolongs my LP which is good :)

@orangeloo yes a big cry is needed especially when we are all so brave usually! I think around 12-13dpo when I know its not happened is the most depressing for me! When period arrives I am actually okay strangely!

@kiza have they given any more indication of dates?

@mrsbttc that's tough! Its really hard having pregnant people in tour close circle!

@Annny27 it's frustrating still spotting with progesterone I'm sorry for you but at the same time glad it's not just me 😅

Yes I definitely agree with that don't feel so bad at AF the negative tests/ realising your not pregnant before is worse.

For me now though, I don't want to sound negative but I've gotten to a place I just don't think it will happen naturally. I will still try every month because I can't bear to loose any chance. But in a way this makes me a bit more relaxed at ovulation and AF. I need and want intervention now. The bad thing to that, is the sad and big cries come randomly because infertility is terrifying.

But, it's Friday and today I'm okay. Hope everyone has a nice weekend x

XjustagirlX · 18/09/2020 18:55

@Annny27 the nurse told me the results would be ready at 4. I’ve just phoned up and I was told a nurse will ring me back. I’m assuming that’s a bad sign if the reception couldn’t tell me the results and I have to wait for a nurse. The suspense is killing me.

Helenh19 · 18/09/2020 22:58

How’s everyone getting on? Today I’m 10dpo, did a test tonight because DP couldn’t wait any longer haha! We think we can both see a very faint line. Used the clear blue 6 days early test. Don’t want to get our hopes up just yet. Going to do another one on Monday morning. AF due Wednesday. Will keep you all posted.

annahannah · 19/09/2020 08:44

@Helenh19 That's very exciting! Doing another one in a few days sounds sensible though.

Currently 4DPO and trying to refrain from so much symptom spotting this cycle!

Happy Saturday all Smile

XjustagirlX · 19/09/2020 10:10

Hcg went down from 179 to 151 so it’s a miscarriage. I’m slightly concerned that it hasn’t decreased by a lot. My other miscarriages reduced very sharply.

Annny27 · 19/09/2020 14:40

Morning :)

@orangeloo no I totally understand its nice for others to also experience the same thing haha! The first month I had 0 spotting so its really random for me!

Thats so hard to finally accept that intervention will be the only way but also quite encouraging I imagine to have mentally moved on to the next steps

@XjustagirlX I am so sorry lovely! Its so heartbreaking:( I hope they can investigate any issues xx

@Helenh19 best of luck :)

@annahannah haha symptom spotting is inevitable for me from about 7dpo haha

Lozzlepop · 23/09/2020 13:22

Hi all,

Sorry for the silence we were away for a few days at the weekend which was nice and glad we did it as we are no longer allowed to visit other households in Scotland from today! How was everyone's weekend?

@orangeloo thanks for tagging me its good to know what value yours was, do you just take tablets daily? Thats good to know about your sister too, it's just one of those things I would rather rule out! I have a call in an hour with the doctor to see about testing.

@Annny27 yup still on furlough and no communication from my work which is really the worst thing as I have no idea whats happening 🙈Yeah he's been working from home the whole time but he has this week off which is nice! That's good, how long has it prolonged your LP by?

@XjustagirlX so sorry to hear this lovely, how are you getting on?

@Helenh19 congratulations ❤️wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months!

orangeloo · 23/09/2020 16:12

@Helenh19 congratulations on your bfp!

@Lozzlepop glad you had a nice week. I'm still furloughed and waiting to here something. I thought it only went to the 1st October but it's the 31st 🙈 I actually want to go back now.
I take tablets and avoid gluten. Not necessary for everyone but if the cause of thyroid problem is autoimmune (most are) gluten (amongst other things) can trigger the immune response which then in turn attacks your thyroid. Sorry it's all a bit involved haha. ask for a full thyroid panel including autoimmunity markers if you can. Thyroid disorders are so common and doesn't really impact people's life but it's more complicated and important when ttc and pregnant. Good luck.

Annny27 · 23/09/2020 21:02

Evening :) my DH had his SA analysis today so should get the results in a week or so they said! He said he had to go into the room, deposit his sample(👀 😂) and then put it into a hatch and press a buzzer and then the lab is on the other side and they take the sample to start the analysis. He said there was a sleezy magazine in the room 😂😂

@Lozzlepop yes definitley the restrictions are annoying now too! My LP has been 15 days with the progesterone!

@orangeloo is your thyroid being controlled now then?

OP posts:
orangeloo · 24/09/2020 08:17

@Annny27 haha I do actually feel it must be quite pressured to perform under those circumstances. Someone posted a picture of 'the' room somewhere a while ago and I showed my other Half. He moaned that he had to do his in a toilet and there was no special allocated room 😂.

Yes thyroid been at a 'good' level for a while now luckily. But it has taken a lot of work and me mostly avoiding gluten and therefore much beloved bread 🥖 haha.

How many months did they advise you try progesterone? I squeezed 5 months out of the private clinic even though originally they just said try it for a few.

Lottiepink · 24/09/2020 08:59

Hello everyone,

Been missing for a while!

@Helenh19 congratulations!

@Annny27 oh no that sounds awful, my DH had to do his at home, so a little easier I think 😂 but be better if it was done at the hospital I think as at least it's in quicker for immediate testing.

@Lozzlepop @orangeloo can't believe you are both still on furlough, must be getting frustrating now, especially with no communication from work.

@XjustagirlX so sorry to hear about the miscarriage, really hope you get some answers x

I'm CD15 and just got a peak OPK 😊
Had such a weird couple of weeks though, if I didn't know better I would have assumed I was pregnant. Had a 3 day period, where normally it would be 4/5, Been feeling queasy, heartburn, achy back, tired, hormonal, lots of twinges etc. Such a strange one!

orangeloo · 24/09/2020 15:51

@Lottiepink @Lozzlepop and it's just been extended until the 31st October 😂 spoke with my boss this morning. I am enjoying it but also starting to go a bit mad haha.

Did you test? @Lottiepink I assume you would have. I had a very light period a few months back our bodies always keep us on our toes.

Annny27 · 25/09/2020 12:53

Afternoon:)

@orangeloo @lottiepink I struggle to feel any sympathy atall towards the male SA when we get prodded with blood tests and transvaginal ultrasounds haha! Just a bit more embarrassing for them i guess:p

@orangeloo I got a 4 months supply i think! I have done 2 cycles then this cycle is progesterone free because of my blood tests and then I'll have them for the two months after that I guess if I don't fall pregnant

@lottiepink that is really strange! Where are you in your fertility tests now? Are they referring to ivf?

Lozzlepop · 25/09/2020 13:35

Happy Friday ladies ❤️

I went and got my blood test to check my thyroid today, the Dr i spoke to was really nice and I was surprised by how quickly they got me in.

@orangeloo I know - I actually cant believe I have been off work for 6 months it is crazy! That's interesting to know about the gluten as my friend who has also experienced recurrent MC was told she is coeliac, will hopefully get the results back next week 🤞🏻

@Annny27 Haha did he have to do it in the hospital? When DF done his he was in a queue to drop the sample off and he said it was so awkward- yeah try being the woman 😂 15 days is really good!!

@Lottiepink Nice to see you back ☺️ I actually had to email my boss as its going on 6 weeks with no update, his response was not very encouraging - but it was payday today and with the furlough scheme running until the end of next month at least I know I have at least one more pay due! Looking for jobs but most things in my area are part time only and hardly any hours!

orangeloo · 27/09/2020 10:29

@Lozzlepop ah that's good glad dr was nice and helpful it makes such a difference.

annahannah · 29/09/2020 16:50

Hi ladies, been quiet over the last few days, sorry. AF normally comes around CD 33 which was yesterday, although my cycles range from 30-47 days so can't be sure. Anyway, AF is not here and got lots of BFNs on FRER's, think I'm about 14dpo today.

Almost certain I'm out this month, which is a shame as I have been incredibly tired the last few days and not had any pre AF cramps like usual. Feeling very deflated but onto next month I guess. Hopefully AF will come quickly if this isn't the month for me.

Hope you're all having a good week

mrsbttc · 29/09/2020 22:42

Hi everyone, hope everyone's week is going well.
We had our telephone appointment with the doctor - she has agreed that it's at a point now we need referred so we have been referred to the centre for life which is our local fertility centre. From what I can gather further investigations will happen from here.

There is a waiting list to be seen (understandable) but least it's a step forward.

AF is due tomorrow and I feel rotten today sore boobs, irritable, crampy- why do us women have to put up with all the crap ! In my next life I am coming back as a man !! Smile x

orangeloo · 30/09/2020 09:23

@mrsbttc sorry about the AF symptoms soo with you on coming back as a man haha. They don't know how lucky they are. Good news about referral, hopefully it's not too long a wait.

@annahannah sorry for bfn's how many FRER's are u peeing on haha £££
