@kiza mmmm thats tricky I would say you ovulated a few days before your peak readinf by your chart! Thats strange! But perhaps you just had higher readings a few days before ovulation for some reason

Hello @MrsEG. Thank you! My clinic doesn't do betas, but my gp sent a single one today at 16dp5dt and it was 2967, so very healthy! Impatient for our scan next week. How are you?

I'm convinced we're having a boy. The husband thinks a girl. I don't care either way, though. Healthy would be great.

I'm feeling sick and tired and it's great! Beta was 2967 yesterday at 16dp5dt and I got a proper dye stealer this morning.

@ValidUser I do, non-identical boys! I was convinced it was boys too. Everyone kept telling me it would be one of each but I just had a hunch!

Morning ladies,

Well.......I said yes to the dress!!!! Absolutely thrilled, it was such an amazing day!

So the consultant called yesterday, after me asking if i should have initial tests done and them saying no they now want to send me for 21 day bloods 🙄 I will be so frustrated if this has been the reason all along!
He's also talked about the possibility of putting me on Clomid- any one have any experience of it?

@Lozzlepop hello!! Hope you're well and fab news about the dress!! I often check in to see how you're getting on. I wish they'd hurry things up for you a bit.

We're great, Esme is 19 weeks old now. We're on holiday up in Skye (which is where we got married), so nice to get away.

It's a year since I got my BFP seems a lifetime ago.

@Lozzlepop congrats on finding a dress- so exciting! We were never offered Clomid as they said I ovulate so no need but I heard other clinics still do offer it? When are girls D21 bloods?

@ValidUser love that you're loving the pregnancy symptoms, I think I'll be the same after waiting so long!

@Annny27 are you trying SMEP again this cycle? Or every other day?

So our IVF clinic said we would receive our appointment letter by now but still no show. Not sure if it's normal to hound them, may wait till end of the week. My chart changed and put O on CD 14 which makes more sense, I think 'surely it has to work this cycle' we had so much sex!! 🥴

@Kiza I know I ovulate too but I think he wants me to have a more "normal" cycle so 28 days instead on the 33 that I am just now- we shall wait and see. I have to go on August 12 and 14 which is a pain as I go back to work on the 10th hopefully they can squeeze me in first thing! I would maybe wait a while as I know the post here has been terrible and things have been taking ages to arrive.

Sunflowers never did well, but the week I went on ovarian stimulation two little boys who live on our road came around selling plants and I bought one, which is thriving! I'm also the queen of late testing. Lovely dye stealer again this morning. 😂

@ValidUser OMG a hugeeee congratulations!! @MrsEG mentioned you were pregnant and I had to pop on and send you allllll my well wishes. I'm absolutely over the moon for you! Twins would be amazing - there's a couple of twin mums on the postnatal thread so you'd be in good company.

I dont know what possesses my sister to tell me of every celebrity who is having a baby? Honestly every other day ita "oh this persons having a baby" - i just reply with a "cool" haha - Brings me absolutely nothing apart from a tinge of jealousy 🙄🤪

@kiza just dtd every other day - haven't used an opks yet this month and not sure if I will (cd10 atm and started to get watery/ewcm)

@timswifey have you started dtd yet this cycle?

@Lozzlepop oooh how exciting about your dress :D now dont look at a single other dress online or otherwise as you will quesrion the choice haha! Day 21 tests should have been done at the start!!!

Everyone's a bit quiet on here haha!

Had my fertility appointment yesterday and he said that everything on my recent blood tests looks fine, he says my tubes will be fine becausr obviously we got pregnsnt (will later do hsg if it goes on for much longer)

But he did prescribe progesterone suppositories to help with luteal phase although he said as we have conceived its probably not a progesterone issue but he said it csnt hurt!

@orangeloo you have used the supposrtries havent you?

@Annny27 glad he gave you something to try at least. Has your partner been tested I can't remember if you said? I think I would like progesterone to try as well but doesn't seem much point until we get to ivf.

@Lozzlepop glad you found your dress how exciting for you!

I've been really annoyed the last couple of days. So I phoned radiology again on Tuesday and I really thought they would now be doing HSGs again as I had my ultrasound appointment through for next week. But NOPE! HSGs are now the only procedure they are still not doing! Like why?! They can't give me any timescale on when they might restart. I'm so frustrated and feel like I can't do anything about it. I looked up private HSGs and it doesn't seem like many people do them. So I'd probably have to go somewhere in London, then pay for a consultation and I could need a referral as well. Procedure is about £500 on top. I will have everything else done so I'm hoping we can move forward a bit at our next appointment on 18th August. Not got my husbands 2nd SA results either as they just go to the consultant who is on holiday for a month.

I feel like I'm trying to beat the covid clock as I feel a second wave is coming and it is likely all nhs will close down again!

@Annny27 thank you!!! I just love it, cant stop looking at the pictures of it 😍did you have your progesterone levels checked ofter OV as thats what they are looking at for mine? I was a bit frustrated with the tests I had too as I was like I know theres nothing wrong with my tubes as we can get pregnant 😒

@Narwhal88 thank you so much!! Thats annoying that radiology hasn't opened again, can you ask your consultant to chase it up his end? Mine schedules all of my appointments then sends them to me, Im not sure how it works in your board?

All booked in for my progesterone tests however I think when she calls to speak to me about the results we will need to properly put everything on hold (results dependant) as we will be 9 months out to the wedding then and I have ordered a size 10 dress lol!

Is anyone up to anything nice this weekend?

@Narwhal88 that's so frustrating for you that they are still not doing them. I think private costs for them are quite pricey from when I looked into it. I'm hoping things don't close down again! Although I work in the NHS and we haven't been told anything about additional planning... but then who knows as information is ever changing.

I managed a bit of sunbathing this afternoon (perks of working from home!) my family are coming to visit on Saturday so going to bake some cupcakes and practice my piping techniques as it's been ages!
6dpo and trying to stay busy! I feel like we must conceive this cycle as I had 5 days worth of sperm in there!!! 🤪
