AF is here. So weird. I thought I knew my body but clearly not.

Onto the next cycle which is cycle 5 since miscarriage.

No more testing til Natural Cycles tells me too. Lesson learned.

@ValidUser congratulations I am absolutely over the moon for you!!! It's been such a long journey for you!! Twins would be absolutely amazing, be sure to keep us updated 🙂 I finally got my BFP in April after 17 long cycles and I'm now 16+3! Welcome to the club 🤰😊x

@Kiza sorry I missed your message last night, i'm really unsure as I feel someone would have mentioned it.... also technically we haven't been "trying" for a good while now as using contraception. Does anyone know if they screen the embryos to check their "quality" as in genetic issues before transfer? @ValidUser maybe you can shed some light on this?

@ValidUser so thrilled that the digital has gone up thats fantastic news!! I will try and look into it, so confusing as 2 have been natural and 2 MMC

@Narwhal88 thanks, we are in Scotland but I have found the equivalent. The information is sketchy- I am still inclined to say we wouldn't be eligible as we know we can get pregnant?!

AF appears to have arrived early here however i'm not complaining as I didn't really want her to arrive on the weekend as I am off wedding dress shopping 😃Hope everyone has a fab day!!

@Lozzlepop you can get pre implantation genetic screening done with IVF. It's not standard, but can be done on the NHS in some cases, I think (might be wrong, as I'm in ROI).

Costs a few thousand otherwise.

@Lozzlepop I know it's mad isn't it! And I still can't believe it some days! At the nice stage now where I feel myself again! No we are having a surprise as much as it pains me 😅 I would really love to know but DP doesn't agree 🙄 enjoy wedding dress shopping at the weekend, how exciting x

@whatsthecraic91 thank you! How are you feeling?

@Lozzlepop normally the criteria is no living children, so getting pregnant wouldn't count as you miscarried. I've seen a few women on Instagram have IVF after recurrent miscarriage. I'm sure there are more tests they can do, I feel angry for you as it seems to me they are fobbing you off. Like @Kiza says they can control things better with IVF and all they could start you on treatment as soon as the embryo was transferred.

@timswifey sorry to hear AF arrived, it's worse when you get symptoms and get your hopes up. Our bodies just like to tease us!

@ValidUser I'm feeling great now after feeling like complete crap from weeks 6-11ish. Hope you are feeling ok and don't get too many symptoms! Feels so surreal at the start doesn't it? x

The podcast called Big Fat Negative, actually pretty good! But then they both got pregnant so I gave up listening, I felt the name was inappropriate 🙄could be just me though😅

Im nearly at the test day..but no symptoms at all this month, so after being very hopeful for 3 weeks, I don’t think it happened,feels like it’s just the kind of thing happening to other people🙈 I’m bloody cranky though, must be all the extra progesterone!

Got a letter through from the hospital so I have my telephone consultation on Monday so fingers crossed I get a decent update and I will ask if IVF is an option for us.

@Lozzlepop enjoy wedding dress shopping! It was my favourite part of planning and I was almost disappointed when I bought my dress as it meant I had to stop trying them on 😂 I wanted to buy them all!! That friends episode is definitely true - it really makes you feel better!

Body really is playing tricks on me...33 day cycle is my usual length. We decided in June that we'll start TTC on my next cycle, so the wait for AF begun.

I'm currently on CD43 with still no sign of AF!! So odd. Just want AF to arrive so we can start TTC. Done some pregnancy tests and that's sadly not what's holding AF up so I'm just a bit confused. Hoping it's not too much longer

@Narwhal88 ahh wedding dress shopping was my favourite part too! I tried 60 on 🙊 however.. didn't get to wear it in June.. postponed!!

@narwhal88 I bought my wedding dress the first day I went shopping for them in the 2nd bridal shop so I also felt a little cheated thay I didn't get to do several weekends haha. But when you know you know!

@timswifey so sorry that AF arrived :( I HATE when our bodies trick us and we get the glimmer of hope:(

@Annny27 Yes I do OPKs and ovulated on CD19 as normal so really odd that I'm now on CD44 with no sign of AF

Sorry for being MIA it's been one hell of a week with work!
@Annny27 we've down every day so far (except Tuesday), currently CD14 and got a +opk this afternoon. Only 2 more days of DTD then rest!!!!

@Lozzlepop if you're under 40 and have been TTC for 2 years without a live baby then you are eligible for IVF. They will want to run through all the necessary tests for you both (some of which you've already had). If you are over 35 some CCG's will accept you for IVF if it's only been 1 year or TTC. Miscarriages should not be counted as new or fresh start dates, they are inclusive of the length of time TTC. Personally I fibbed as to how long we had been trying following friends advice and pretended it was a year longer than it actually had been.

@Lotusflower11 when's test day for you? How are you feeling?

@Annny27 yea glimmer of hope is the worst. We're almost cycle buddies this time around, I'm just on CD 4 now x

Ladies I can safely say that drinking grapefruit juice daily for the last 2 weeks made zero difference, if anything I had less ewcm than usual?! 🧐 one thing I know for sure is drinking tons of water helps. If you're body is dehydrated it's not going to waste any liquid on your CM 😆

We've finally finished our week long of marathon sex 🤦🏼‍♀️ and DP really struggled at the end with the pressure of needing to finish but we made it 💪🏼

Hope everyone has got some lovely plans for the weekend, we are off into town ring shopping 💍 and then our first time eating out in 6 months.

Thanks for the advice, I will try and get as much out of the consultant when I speak to him and see if IVF is an option for us! Enjoy your Saturday, sounds like a fab day! Im out for my first meal out tomorrow since I don't even know when lol!!

So glad that AF started early this month as she's been longer than normal and glad I wasn't going to be bloated for tomorrow! Meeting a friend for coffee on Monday, she is under the recurrent MC clinic but a different board so good to catch up and see the differences, then I have my call with the consultant in the afternoon. And I eventually have a date for getting back to work which is August 10th so at least there is light at the end of the tunnel!! Hope everyone is having a fab weekend!

For you temp ladies (as I'm only just trying it) what do you make of when I O as the temp and opk doesn't seem to add up?
