I've just stopped taking my pill in the past few days, dreading my first AF in years, is it as bad as I've heard it can be?

CD6 here and AF fading away now woohoo! Here we go again for another cycle of trying.

@elh06 I came off the pill at the end of March, 2 weeks later had a withdrawal bleed then 2 weeks after that had AF. I was on a pill where you didn't tend to have a period - first one I did find I had quite a few cramps and did use a hot water bottle. My cycle came back very quickly though and I had my next AF 28 days later and now pregnant. We were lucky and didn't think it would happen that quick. Hope this helps. Xxx

@mrsbecs EPO is Evening Primose Oil (a supplement you take for the first part of your cycle till ovulation). I can't stand grapefruit but apparently pomegranate juice works too, although I haven't tried it. But yes, Conceive Plus is the same sort of thing as Preseed.

@Croselle I'm missing the gym too, but finding online workouts pretty good, and especially yoga! At least with yoga I don't worry about overdoing it... I've seen posts recommending to tone down exercise but I'm not really sure.

@Annny27 very glad your bloods all came back fine, but @Lozzlepop sorry to hear you haven't got to the bottom of it yet. I hope the HyCoSy helps with that... and @Kiza my fingers are crossed for you!

Yesterday (CD11) I was surprised to see quite a bit of blood along with EWCM (sorry if that's TMI). I'm assuming it's ovulation bleeding, although I have no idea why I would get it now for the first time ever?!
Have any of you ever experienced that??

Hi everyone. My AF is due today. Just done a test and it was negative. My bbt is still high and I’ve not had my usual 2 days of spotting before AF. I keep getting twinges which I’m concerned about. I felt nauseous for the last couple of mornings but I feel fine this morning and now I’m worried that’s a bad sign.

I actually feel a bit sorry for them having a birthday so close to Christmas and no one ever has money in January 😂 I'm totally relaxed now for the time being! 17th Aug is 20 week scan day I'm sure I'll be freaking out again closer to the time 😂 How are you getting on? FW yet? x

@XjustagirlX do u know what dpo you are? What are you testing with?

9DPO here spotting as usual since 7 dpo so not holding out much hope. Don't have the urge to test like I usually do either. Don't want the disappointment I guess. Progesterone tablets are making me feel rough topped with this heat 😰. And I'm seriously irritable and mood swingy. Poor DP haha. Having HYFOSY with saline scan next month so at least it's a bit of box checking progress. Can be referred to nhs fertility in August but I'm sure wait lists are long.

@Kiza I can't believe how much it has affected your cycle! Hopefully the acupuncture will settle it down, annoying about the appointments though 😕 I've not had ewcm this cycle, and last couple not had much, so strange I drink lots of water, think I might give the grapefruit juice a go!

@Anny27 it is strange, I just hope I am right 🙈😂 I might do a full month next cycle to check, I feel much warmer so assuming I have ovulated, I'll take my temp tomorrow morning 😊 we haven't been planning when to do it, just when we fancy we kinda average 4 times a week, we ended up doing SMEP by chance this time 😂 have you got a plan for this month?
Left over sperm or ewcm, what a dilemma 😂 made me laugh 😆

@orangeloo I’m 14dpo today. I usually have a literal phase of 12 or 13 days. I only used a cheap one step test. I’m too scared to use a FRER. I’m going to wait till Sunday and then I will use a FRER. I’ve attached my bbt chart. I’m worried it is starting to drop.

Also this month I had 4 separate peaks on my ovulation tests. I thought there was something wrong with them so I used 4 separate monitors to check. I then stopped tracking ovulation using clearblue and just kept DTD and using my bbt to monitor ovulation.

@XjustagirlX ah that's annoying, big mind games for you. Fingers crossed U will get a BFP and maybe it was a late implantation.

@XjustagirlX how strange! Looking at your chart you may have implanted 11dpo so may not shown until tomorrow òr so? Or of course may just be a weird cycle. I have had the occasional longer LP at times!🤞

@orangeloo sorry you have had your usual spotting:( but never out until AF arrives! That sounds good that you have a plan for the next month. Softens the blow of her arrival

@Lottiepink I can basically tell when I have ovulated with CM changes but I still do opks as well just to triple check haha

@kiza how's it going for you? Do you think you have actually ovulated now?

@Lozzlepop my blood tests weren't for fertility but they checked a lot of things that would have been checked with a fertility test too so just a small amount of reassurance for me haha

@whatsthecraic91 yep I always hated my Christmas birthday haha. But a healthy baby is all that matters :p

@beachbum85 I’m on cd14 today, got my peak opk yesterday morning and had cramps last night and this morning. Had some pink tinged mucus this morning so I’m also thinking ovulation bleeding

A bit of an update. I had a few drops of brown blood earlier and watery brown on wiping. I keep obsessively checking now. I’m hoping it’s implantation and not AF arriving.

@XjustagirlX blimey you get in a heck of a lot DTD, lots of 3 days in a row! Wish I had your stamina 😆 I'm rubbish with reading temps but looks positive that your temp is still high 🤞🏼

@whatsthecraic91 beautiful scan and so lovely to hear you're now enjoying it and feeling relaxed.

@orangeloo our referral to fertility consultant was about 6 weeks so hopefully your area is quicker too. Remember you heard about spotting ladies still having a BFP even with their usual spotting so cling on to that with me!!

@Lottiepink will have to buy some good quality grapefruit juice and see how it goes

@mrsbecs sorry to hear about AF, some months it's easier to see it and some months harder, all part of the journey ☺️

So got another peak reading today on my opk which was a higher score than last week so assume my body is doing its new found trick of trying to O but not being successful- I'm now convinced it's cos my 40th birthday is looming my body is trying to tell me its old! Coupled with the low ovarian reserve results.

Also had a shitty couple of days as a little boy I assessed has been killed which is tragic but also the worry of possibly going to court to give evidence. Trying not to think about it as I think I'm now O so need to feel calm and happy to DTD

@Kiza we tried 3 DTD in a row this cycle but the third day was always difficult. That’s terrible news about the little boy.

@Annny27 I hope I implanted on 11dpo coz hopefully that means this is implantation. I keep panicking coz I felt painful twinges on my left side. That is the side I have ovulated from this cycle and it’s the same side I had the ectopic from in March. But I feel in a really happy mood which for me is not usual if AF is looming.
