Hi ladies,

Following on from our 6 months ttc thread, for anyone wanting to join in it’s just a group of us who have gone past the 6/7 month mark ttc looking to chat and support each other. All welcome 😊

@twinkletoes85 lol my friend described it as that also, and she did poop too🙈🤣
It's never easy having to be someone's cheerleader when you're sad for yourself, glad you're coping well with it💕

@twinkletoes85 congratulations to your friend - and great news you're feeling so optimistic about it. I have a zoom yoga class starting in 20 mins so I'm off to get ready. Hopefully it will clear my head.

@Aokbaby haha! I'm terrified about pooping. I know it's a really normal thing but what if it's bad and you would need to wipe after, would they just wipe your bum? 😂

@Twinkletoes85 haha my thoughts exactly, I'm sure they would as they'd have to wipe up everything else😲
I've said to my DH he's to stay firmly beside my head🤣🤣

@Aokbaby I've told my OH the same thing. He's all set on being down the business end with a camera 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Twinkletoes85 ahaa have you ever seen the episode of friends where they watch the birthing video, it's hilarious!! Enough to put anyone off filming anything🙈

@Aokbaby Just finished a course of antibiotics for a UTI Need to up my water and still make sure to urinate shortly after DTD

Welcome @Mrskrd! Sorry to hear about your cysts, what made you go to the drs? Did you have pain or anything? Asking as I keep wondering if I have cysts as I get pain after sex and this seems to be one of the reasons. I'm waiting for a ultrasound but with COVID it's been postponed.

@Aokbaby yes! Love friends! I don't think I could watch a birthing video. I had to stop watching one born every minute as it made my womb cringe.

@Twinkletoes85 congratulations to your friend and really pleased to hear you are feeling positive about it all.

I remember when I gave birth to my LG (she came early at 30 weeks) that I said to the nurse that I felt I was about to do the biggest poo, it was actually baby’s head coming! Thankfully nothing else did come out 🤣

Welcome @Mrskrd have they checked if your cysts are cyclical ie they come and go? I had an 8cm dermoid cyst years ago that I had to have removed. My friend had a cyst during her pregnancy recently and they just had to monitor it but didn’t affect fertility.

@notyetamumbuttrying @Aokbaby I turn 35 next month and was advised to go as soon as we were trying just to not waste time really.
To be honest I was hoping there wouldn’t be anything. Then covid happened and everything has kind of stood still. Waiting for my husband to have his test just to keep things moving.

@Twinkletoes85 I have 12 cysts in a circle so technically poly cysts - however I don’t think as of yet that I have pcos as I have no other symptoms of that.

Also to whoever just asked about preseed we tried that this month (try anything once right) I bleed after using it - not sure why but I’ve heard lots of other people say how good it is - so worth a shot? 🤷🏼‍♀️

@KK251289 Hope you enjoyed your steak last night. I'm feeling much better today too thankfully. It's definitely 2 days of feeling awful after ovulation for me.

@Aokbaby. Oh you poor thing. I used to suffer badly in the past when we used condoms. It could be the lubricant affecting you alright.

@mrskrd welcome to the group. Everyone here is lovely so you will get alot of support. Just wondering if they told you what kind of cysts they were - endometriomas or haemorrhagic or Dermoid or anything else. Not all cysts need treatment or interfere with conception. I have some knowledge of this area from work so might be able to give you some info to help.

@twinkletoes85 Aw..congrats to your friend and really happy you are feeling positive about it all. Sounds like the birth happened really quickly for her....was it her first?

@mrskrd sorry just seen your other message about the cysts. If they said you have a poly cystic ovary, but you don't have any symptoms such as irregular periods, facial hair or abnormal blood tests results then it's nothing to worry about.
The criteria for poly cystic ovaries has changed recently too and they now say there needs to be more than 20 immature follicles or an ovarian volume greater than 10mls for the ovary to be considered poly-cystic, but some trusts are still using the old criteria. So that's even more reassuring for you as you only had 12.
I can imagine it would be worrying to hear you have cysts if they don't explain it you though. No wonder we all rely on Google so much.

@Aokbaby I think preseed is alright. I use about 1-1.5g with the applicator and I’ve not had any problems with it dribbling out lol. I also use conceive plus as a normal lube on top of that (you get so little in the preseed tube I don’t like wasting it!)

@Mrskrd thanks for answering about the cysts, at least you discovered them quickly in TTC journey. It was me talking about the preseed, I've also heard great reports, how much do you use? I'm using 1gm is it enough? Maybe not enough? How long have you been using?

@Posy1 yea I think it may be the preseed causing it, I'll try and flush it out and stick to using preseed for this cycle at least.

@Nat4392 yea it isn't a big tube at all considering the price, I've used it twice now and the second time was wasted as dh didn't 'finish' if you get me. I've decided not to tell him when I use it so as not to add any extra pressure but was so annoyed last night that it was wasted. Do you you each time around ovulation or vary it?

@gypsywater they are horrible aren't they, really don't want to have more antibiotics, just finished a strong course for something else and had a UTI earlier in year too.

Just catching up with everything on here ladies, hope you're all doing ok. I'm only 2dpo I think and struggling already with the waiting but nothing I can do.

Anyone testing soon, cant wait to see some BFPs on here x

@Aokbaby Have you heard of D Mannose tablets? They're excellent for prevention.

@Aokbaby I’ve been using it about the last 2 cycles every time in the fertile week. (Granted it’s not always easy to sneakily chuck some up there before DTD 🙈). We don’t bother with out outside of the fertile week though, it’s too expensive for that!

I think I may be out for the month, just had a tiny bit of spotting which is what I always get a couple of days before AF. I know it’s not over until she shows properly but definitely not holding out much hope for this month.
