@Twinkletoes85 oh thanks for letting me know, I was starting to panic big time as this is so new for me. Hopefully just everything evening out 🤞

Hoping41 · 10/06/2020 22:17

@twinkletoes85 yes, that's a good idea. You're right, there's loads of baby shows - I could even say it was on teen mom!! They are totally crazy and so many drug addicts. I know it's all over the news about America having an opioid epidemic but, jeez, it's bad!!

Twinkletoes85 · 10/06/2020 22:17

@Aokbaby I know what you mean it's hard not to read into everything both in a good and bad way!

I felt different around ov this month and my boobs were noticeably more sore and bigger so that makes me think even more that last month was maybe getting something out of my system.

@Hoping41 I know! I feel awful saying it but I watch it sometimes and it makes me so grateful for the quiet stable life I've got.

@Aokbaby oh yeah love dr doireann too!!

KK251289 · 10/06/2020 23:01

@Hoping41 I love teen mom (UK and American one) but when AF came last month I couldn't bear to watch because seeing all the kids made me so sad.

@aokbaby I always get hip and pain in the bottom of my leg a week before AF.

Aokbaby · 10/06/2020 23:23

@KK251289 thanks for letting me know,.just even knowing that it happens others had relieved me so much. Why is it we always think the worst.

@Fifol yea she's so informative

introv3rt · 10/06/2020 23:38

I'm wondering how the pill has affected me too, I was on it for 6 years, since coming off it last October I've noticed certain things, the first few months my boobs killed for the whole week before AF especially at night even turning over in bed hurt haha, my more recent cycles they only start hurting about 3 days before AF and a lot less painful. Seems like my periods are starting to get shorter too, used to be 7 days but they seem to now be getting much lighter after 4/5 days.. hoping this means my hormones are balancing and the pill is out of my system 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Aokbaby · 11/06/2020 07:12

@introv3rt when I first came off the pill my boobs were so painful for about 10days, couldn't even touch them they were so sore, now they maybe hurt about 2days of the month. This cycle they seem to be hurting after af a little. I ovulated late last cycle so maybe I'll ovulate early in this one. It definitely takes a while for our body's to get back to normal

skittles2003 · 11/06/2020 08:11

I agree about the effects of coming off the pill. Thankfully they do seem to improve (which has helped me feel optimistic). I felt terrible for the first 5 months after ov - bad nausea, tiredness etc, last month was better and this month I haven't felt ill at all (yet!). I was starting to wonder if TTC was worth it if I spent 2 weeks a month feeling awful (and then AF afterwards!)...

Annny27 · 11/06/2020 08:18

Morning everyone:) 8dpo today and now the time when I get crazy trying to symptom spot 🙈🙈🙈

How's everyone?

Twinkletoes85 · 11/06/2020 08:29

@Annny27 morning, I won't even say try not to symptom spot as it's actually impossible!

I'm on my last day of af so I'll stay opks on sat, getting excited for fw now!

OP posts:
Annny27 · 11/06/2020 08:30

@Twinkletoes85 I even went as far as to check my symptoms from when I had my bfp to remind myself of what they were 🤣 they didn't start till 10dpo and all they were was feeling tired and a bit run down!

End of AF is always hopeful - start of a new chance :D

DSC1 · 11/06/2020 08:33

Morning!
@Annny27 I am also 8dpo... trying my hardest not to symptom spot and keep reminding myself that when I had my LG I had no symptoms that month.

TWW is just so hard though!!

PinkFlamingoGirl · 11/06/2020 08:42

Morning everyone,

I'm 10dpo and feel crampy. I think AF is a matter of days away 😔😔! Trying to remain positive and wait and see but I think it's highly unlikely. Symptom spotting is unreal. I've been very good at noting everything down this month so that I can look back next cycle and say nope stop obsessing you've had this before. I've not been great at recoding this before x

Nat4392 · 11/06/2020 09:09

Quick evening primrose question for those who have taken it. Mine are arriving today, do you take them everyday or just until ov? How many mg etc? I’ve got the 1000mg ones

MummyOfZog · 11/06/2020 09:16

@Annny27 @DSC1 Ohhh I do find TWW exciting! Let us know when you're going to start testing - I so want some BFPs in the group to give us hope!

@Nat4392 - I took EPO when I fell pg with DS to help with increasing EWCM (I noticed a real difference!). I took from AF up to ovulation then stopped. I just took 1 pill a day (think it was 1000mg).

I'm CD22 - got another +OPK this morning. Is it bad that I'm kind of read for FW to be over so I can have a nice rest lol!? I feel all bloated and bleugh today, which I tend to get when I'm ovulating (days before I feel wonderful, then when it comes to actual ovulating/just after I feel knackered and crappy!)

AnxiousAnnie86 · 11/06/2020 09:25

Ooo good luck to you all coming to end of 2ww! And to those going into it!!

I got my fifth flashing smiley this morn :( Cd17 cheapie opks completely blank,

For ladies using cheapie opks. Do you find it gradually gets darker or suddenly,

@MummyOfZog I'm the same, my fertile window I feel horrid. Painful bloating and pressure pain until I actually ovulate, before that I feel wonderful!! X

Twinkletoes85 · 11/06/2020 09:34

@nat4392 I've just started on epo and got the 1000mg ones, they've got starflower oil in too. I took two a day the first two days but after reading up a bit I think that was overkill so I'm just going to take one.

OP posts:
Fifol · 11/06/2020 09:36

Good luck tww ladies!

@PinkFlamingoGirl I find that really helps me, looking back and realising it's not new, it's the same as always!

Swifty2 · 11/06/2020 09:36

Morning ladies
I was super hopeful this month, I'm 10dpo and maybe I've been symptom spotting just a bit but I really felt like this was our month as I've had what I thought were really positive (and out of the ordinary!) signs and then I've just been to the loo and there's definitely some blood there, looks like AF to me 😢
I have some evening primrose oil coming today too and I got some castor oil last week to do some castor oil packs so I guess I'll try that this cycle! I'm definitely a bit gutted this morning, had a little cry on my OH and got make up all over his shirt 😂

AnxiousAnnie86 · 11/06/2020 09:39

EPO has most certainly made a difference for EWCM for me! X

Nat4392 · 11/06/2020 09:41

So sorry @Swifty2. Our bodies can be so cruel. I’ve messed up many of DHs shirts since TTC started. I’ve not worn make up since lockdown though so at least the last few months have been kind to his shirts 🙈
Take care of yourself today ❤️

Twinkletoes85 · 11/06/2020 10:13

My work have a 'work and family' thing which provides content depending on what stage of life you're at if you want it. I get the planning for parenthood emails and this month there's a story if someone's ivf experience.

It's only short and not that emotional but I've just cried my eyes out reading it. It sounds like a hard process but she's pregnant and due soon from it. It was interesting to read about how it works.
