Hi ladies,

Following on from our 6 months ttc thread, for anyone wanting to join in it’s just a group of us who have gone past the 6/7 month mark ttc looking to chat and support each other. All welcome 😊

Hey ladies! Can I join? This is my twelfth cycle, just about to head into fertile window I think.... got my flashing smiley on CB Advance, have tried soy isoflavones this month to try and bring ovulation forward as it can be anytime from cd17 to cd32! Xxx

@Aokbaby Sounds like it could just be a funny old cycle, but if it happens again I’d speak to your GP xx

@Aokbaby hopefully just a funny cycle! I'm hoping mine is just a funny one too - I said in this group on Saturday (I think) that AF had arrived and that it was unusual because the blood was REALLY dark and I was only 4DPO (and ov was super late this month). The bleeding stopped like a day later. I'm now 7dpo and there's nothing there at all! I recorded it as spotting because it was light and only lasted a day. I thought it could be implantation bleeding but I was only 4DPO so surely you can't implant that fast? I haven't had any cramps so doesn't feel like AF, I usually have bad cramps. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@jessmcg glad you're feeling productive after the ultrasound and bloods! Was it an internal utrasound? Do you get the results along with the sperm analysis ones on Thursday?

The convo about the menstrual cup - I've always been tempted but also a bit unsure! Hearing everyone's rave reviews has got me thinking about it again...

Libido wise I'm exactly the same, it's up post AF up to ovulation, and then gone again for the 2ww...not sure if it's to do with my cycle or if it's just because I'm spent after all the baby making attempts 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Swifty2 our bodies really are strange aren't they? Could it possibly be early implantation for you? I remember reading an article during one of my endless internet trawls and it said that heavy bleeding can happen during implantation, it's a pool of blood that forms and is shed when egg burrowing ruptures lining? How many days until af is due for you?

@Twinkletoes85 it is exciting but some months I've had 15+ of them! But I get a bloating normally before OV so think it's on its way!

It's nice to see a board with 6 months plus! As happy as I am for people conceiving on first cycle, in the 2ww groups, it can be really disheartening sometimes :(

@Aokbaby Well I have PCOS and my cycle can be irregular although on average is 33 days. I'm on cd 35 right now! You're right our bodies are so confusing?

@Swifty2 it's so difficult to try and spot patterns and understand what's going on, fingers crossed it's good news x

@AnxiousAnnie86 totally the same I am getting quite cynical with people who are worried when they haven't conceived first month haha! So it is nice to have like minded people :)

@AnxiousAnnie86 welcome to the group, this has by far been my favourite thread, lots of us in similar situations.
I agree with hearing people in TWW groups conceiving first try is disheartening x

@KK251289 how many flashings do you get normally? Mine seems to vary so so much!

@Annny27 I did a 2ww group the other month and It was just positive after positive it made me feel like a horrible person!

Where is everyone else at:) just trying to catch up? Anyone else already in 2ww? X

@AnxiousAnnie86 I started last month and got 4 flashing before the peak, I got my first flashing on cycle day 9 last cycle and this time around

@Aokbaby if you have any worries/concerns then call the GP, I always feel with things like that I can either worry about it and Google or go get checked and know that it was (hopefully) nothing to worry about.

@jessmcg glad you are feeling good after the tests, fingers crossed your results are all fine.

@AnxiousAnnie86 I am on cycle 6 after my miscarriage in November but 12 months overall! And currently 5dpo :)

@DSC1 yea you're completely right, I'll see if symptoms persist and call towards end of week if i need too x

@Tilly1403 Yes, an internal ultrasound and a blood test and then my OH is dropping a sample off on Weds AM and then we have all the results with a consultant on Thurs. The nurse said to me that things looked good, but suggested I get a HyCoSy to check whether my tubes are blocked, so that might be the next step - we shall see!

@Nat4392 I agree, this is my favourite group! It’s so great that so many of us are in the same boat.

@AnxiousAnnie86 I’m just coming off AF, CD4. But there are lots of people in the 2WW I think!

I'm CD13 in a 26-27 day cycle so I think I am in the TTW. AF due 22nd June.

@Annny27 that's exactly the same as me, this month is my twelfth cycle but I had a miscarriage at 7/8 weeks on my birthday Nov 1st! X

Good luck with your results! What does the internal ultrasound look for? I know they look for PCOS but is it for anything else too?

@AnxiousAnnie86 Welcome! This group is lovely, I've learned so much from these ladies! I could be in the TWW, at this point I have no idea! I'm on cd35 but got my positive opk and bbt at cd 29 with some unusual bleeding at cd 33.

I totally agree, those people who join a thread 2 days before testing in cycle 1 and then get their bfp 🤪
I've really got my fingers crossed for us here though. I wish there was a calendar function where we could all add in our testing details and then results. It would make it much easier to keep track.
