I'm 33 TTC #1 and on cycle 7 6dpo!

Welcome to our new gals ♥️

notyetamumbuttrying · 07/06/2020 21:07

Thank you @jessmcg!! Will take a look now 😊

DSC1 · 07/06/2020 21:43

I’m turning 36 in a few weeks and TTC #2 this is cycle 11.

Welcome @chasingmyrainbow and @Marym1986.

@Chasingmyrainbow I’m so sorry to hear about your MC, I understand how difficult this can be as I also had one when trying for my 1st. I did open up to quite a few friends and they had been through similar and all then went on to have successful pregnancies (including myself). Find some reassurance in that you can get pregnant... fingers crossed this will be your month.

Best of luck to you ladies testing in the next few days, I’m sure some BFPs are on their way

Hoping41 · 07/06/2020 21:51

@seafrontsky I googled the meditation as well. They have a free one on YouTube you can listen to to see if you like it. I know the pack @jessmcg has bought will be much better but it lets you see whether you'd like it.

Seafrontsky · 07/06/2020 22:13

Thanks @jessmcg and @Hoping41 I'll take a look.

Update on stats I'm 38 TTC #3 currently on cycle 21 or 22 (I'm losing count, and possibly hope!)

MrsCOR · 07/06/2020 22:14

So this is a weird one that I've tried to google, but can't see that much on this as an early symptom. For the last week or so I've had a really stuffy nose and sneezing lots. Put it down to allergies but antihistamines won't touch it and the only thing that has slightly worked is a nasal spray. Haven't got a cold either and I feel fine in general. But with that I've noticed I have a bloody nose? Never had a nosebleed even as a child so I feel like this is quite unusual for me. Otherwise I haven't really had any symptoms at all this cycle outside the norm.

Thoughts anyone??? Am I clutching at straws??? 🤣

notyetamumbuttrying · 07/06/2020 22:20

Could be hay fever @MrsCOR or could be an early symptom! Runny noses are a sign of pregnancy! Mines defo hay fever for me tho.

Hoping41 · 07/06/2020 22:23

Funnily enough @MrsCOR , I've seen both snuffy nose and bleeding nose being mentioned as early symptoms somewhere. I'll see if I can find it. I've read any antihistamines too, I know you're not advised to take them when ttc but think it's to do with drying up your cv

MrsCOR · 07/06/2020 22:25

@notyetamumbuttrying - yeah that's what I thought, but I haven't really suffered with hay fever for quite a while. Also have quite a few allergies so usually quite good at picking that up as it affects my asthma as well (particularly cats).

It's more the blood that I am concerned about as I have never had blood come from my nose before!

It is so annoying that every sign could mean either or!

Hoping41 · 07/06/2020 22:25

Here you go - I just googled 'blocked nose a sign of pregnancy'. I've definitely seen other posters mention a bleeding nose too. Signs promising, fingers crossed for you 🤞

If you've got a stuffy nose, it could be another sign that you're possibly pregnant. According to the Mayo Clinic, "increasing hormone levels and blood production can cause the mucous membranes in your nose to swell, dry out and bleed easily. This might cause you to have a stuffy or runny nose."14 Jun 2019

11 Early Symptoms of Pregnancy — How to Know If You're Pregnant

MrsCOR · 07/06/2020 22:32

@Hoping41 - Wow I had no idea about the antihistamines!!! I'll definitely stop taking them and check online. I rarely take them anyway but the last week I have taken maybe like 2 or 3 when the blocked nose wouldn't budge!

Interesting about the blocked nose as a symptom, especially because I think that description matches exactly what I am experiencing. Although, BFN so far! We will see tomorrow morning!

Baileys123 · 07/06/2020 22:40

Some great advice on here Smile
I've just ordered essential oils from doterra. Never heard of some of the stuff on here Smile

Aokbaby · 07/06/2020 22:47

Good luck @MrsCOR 🤞

chasingmyrainbow · 08/06/2020 06:53

I resisted testing this morning.
Good luck to anyone who is testing 🤞🏼

Twinkletoes85 · 08/06/2020 07:26

Well af has shown up bang on time. I called it last night and said to my OH that I'd wake up bleeding this morning.

I'd counted us out from the start as I'm sure we didn't dtd enough and at the right time so I've been planning the next cycle already.

At least I can go to work in my pjs today

Oh no, sorry @twinkletoes85 I'm sure it's disappointing even though you were expecting it.

Swifty2 · 08/06/2020 07:42

@Twinkletoes85 I'm so sorry about AF! I hope the next cycle is yours 💕

jessmcg · 08/06/2020 07:45

@Twinkletoes85 So sorry to hear about AF - whilst it is ALWAYS disappointing, at least you already had in your mind that this probably wasn’t your cycle. Takes the sting out ever so slightly. Good to focus on this new cycle and think about what you can do to feel like you’re taking positive steps.

gypsywater · 08/06/2020 07:45

Sorry to hear about AF @Twinkletoes85, always rubbish even if you're expecting it. Best of luck for next cycle.

Does anyone here have a history of endometriosis? I had a laparoscopy in 2016 (for something else) and some endo was found and removed. Bit worried it could have come back since then though no real symptoms.

PinkFlamingoGirl · 08/06/2020 07:57

@twinkltoes85 sorry that AF came. It's always a disappointment. I'm glad you're focussing your energy into next cycle. Hoping that's going to be the one for you xxx

Twinkletoes85 · 08/06/2020 08:02

Thank you everyone, I've got the seven seas ttc in my amazon basket, is it evening primrose that's supposed to help with cm?

Twinkletoes85 · 08/06/2020 08:03

Oh and if it is what dose please? Sorry I thought I'd noted it down but I obviously made a note in my head and not my phone 🤦🏼‍♀️

MrsCOR · 08/06/2020 08:30

@Twinkletoes85 - sorry af got you this morning. Was hoping to see some positive news from someone.

Unfortunately another BFN for me this morning on 12dpo. Also started cramping slightly so I am pretty sure I'm out now and af will turn up as expected. Not even going to waste another test to see another stark white bfn.

Nat4392 · 08/06/2020 08:36

@Twinkletoes85 sorry AF has arrived. Monday AF is the worst. Pretty sure I’ll be writing the same thing tomorrow for me!

Swifty2 · 08/06/2020 08:38

Does anyone know if you can take too many supplements? I've just been reading about Angus castus because I have a short luteal phase but I already take quite a few supplements because of my PCOS and I'm worried adding more in the mix will make things worse instead of better??
