Welcome to the 🐧 huddle. This a safe place to give and receive support for everyone who has experienced the loss(es) of a pregnancy or baby. Pregnancy and child loss is one of the most difficult things we can experience and it can also be the most lonely time too. I hope you find this thread to be of some comfort.

I have found so much comfort from the lovely ladies on this thread and I’m hoping for lots of BFPs in coming months!

Good to hear from you @InDreamland - it was the book you sent me that made me look deeper into the immunes testing and research, so thank you ❤️ feels nice to have hope again :)

Hi, I had a missed miscarriage in August at 16 weeks and I'm about to start trying for a baby again. I felt like I was handling the miscarriage okay, but this morning I read an article on the bbc about ultrasounds and suddenly was a total mess again because it reminded me of the scan when I found out I'd lost my little baby. Anyway, hello, good to meet you all. xxx

Mumlili9 · 19/11/2020 21:57

@InDreamland hello Lovely to hear from you, how are you?

Girls im so scared about tomorrow. Im scared of it hurting, im scared of what they will find and equally what they won't find. And I've got to do it all on my tod too.

Mumlili9 · 19/11/2020 21:58

@VenusStarr oh I'm so pleased the book was useful there. I also tried to pursue that route, booked appt at the Lister to ask to be tested. After some other tests and those results being "reassuring" but still gave me no answers I was advised not to have the NK cells tests because it's so rare but it was ultimately my choice and sent away with loads of info to read up on before deciding whether to go ahead. At the same time DH had tests and long story short seemed issues were with him (although he's still saying it couldn't have been him - men eh!). Anyways, it is positive that you have found the likely cause of your losses and with treatment hopefully I will be congratulating you very soon on a BFP, a healthy sticky bean and 24 weeks of nausea/morning sickness (just for reassurance of course) followed by a very active baby kicking lots until they join us at full term! Goodness you and everyone else on here deserve that rainbow!

InDreamland · 19/11/2020 22:08

@Mumlili9 I'm well thanks. Actually had covid last month which was scary, me, DH and DD all tested positive 6 weeks ago. All well now though thankfully. It's natural to be nervous before any investigations, I remember going for a hysterosalpingogram (think that's how you spell it) twice and it was just horrible wondering what they might find and tell you. Just try to remember that hopefully they will tell you something useful. Info is power and hopefully it will help with possible ways forward. Keeping everything crossed for you!

@mumlili9 thanks

Kiki275 · 20/11/2020 20:19

@nchristie I'm sorry you were triggered by it. I read the same article and sort of felt lucky in a way. At our 1st and only private scan, following a bleed around 11/12weeks, the sonographer got the dates nearly a week out and missed a twin.

I'll start a new thread and post the link @Mumlili9, thank you for the heads up. Hope everything went okay today?x

nchristie · 20/11/2020 20:26

@Kiki275 the weird thing is I never had any private scans. It's just reading about bad things showing up in scans reminded me of the final nhs scan.

Kiki275 · 20/11/2020 20:30

@nchristie I think we can definitely all relate to that. The precise moment our hearts were broken. I had so many scans with my boys but can remember them all so clearly xx

Hi Everyone,
I dont know how to put this in words..but i am sooo overwhemled about what is happening. I got a confirmation today that I have had my second miscarriage. Felt fully devasted and felt that i am never gonna have a little baby as if i will be never blessed.
Had 1st MC in August and 2nd now in December. I dont even know if i will ever have a healthy pregnancy.
Feeling very low. My mind is thundered with thoughts.
Looking for positive replies.
Many thanks
