Hello everyone,

I am 37 going on 38 in December. TTC baby number 3. Came off the pill on the 1st may (2020). Previously I was on syanna press( depo).
I ovulated yesterday 😊
I only just finished my period on the 9th so didn't expect ovulation just yet. Also I am very new to using ovulation test. This is my second time using it. I am using the easy@home brand.
I have two boys ages 15 and 3years.❤️

Please join on this journey with me, so we can cheer each other up, share advice and information etc..

@lucieloos thanks, I was being particularly optimistic anyway so just have to get on with it now! Good luck with no symptom spotting- I started out that way then it all went mad!!!

Are than any over 40's on here that are ttc or have succeeded ?

I fell very easily in my 20's, but youngest is now 14. Now I'm 43 I know it's going to take time but would love to here tips/advice. My dp dtd often (thankfully), he is 5 years younger so lots of energy This would be our first together.

I only decided to try a few weeks ago, and told myself if it happens it happens, but now I feel slightly more obsessed.. did have Mirena but have read that all returns to normal quite soon. I'm out of practise with all of this and still getting to grips with the lingo etc.

@Lynnysong 🤞🏻 For you!! Have you tried calc fluor x6 tablets too? They are mesnt to be helpful for implantation during the tww too. I have mine ready to go cor a few days time :)

@Billers76 I'm 43 and fell pregnant with my 8 month old DD at 41 and had her at 42 I was in the pill too and forgot to take it for a few days.
Then I fell pregnant December last year which ended in MMC at 9.5 weeks in feb .I was drinking, not talking any vitamins before I knew I was pregnant with my DD with the MMC I was taking vitamins, avoiding alcohol I conceived quickly but unfortunately it didn't stick. Just hoping it happens again quickly x

I've no idea what cycle I'm on. My ex told me he wanted to have a baby with me but I'm sure it was to get money from me. He was and still is a turd. Which is a shame because he was handsome and charismatic. I fell for it but it's wearing off now. Thanks goodness for that...

Billers76 - me! I’m 40 been TTC for a long time now with no success. Got pregnant very easily when I was in my 30s.

Would those 40 plus be Interested in a separate thread?

@Lynnysong check out inge Fleur on you tube (she has her own website too) she has a whole load of info on fertility and approaching it from a homeopathic way..this was the one I first watched, but have watched a few more since lol!

@Bellabubble I watch her on you tube too. She's so lovely. Im. You tube obsessed but most ttc videos are American ladies and it's all a bit different over there. Might start my own you tube channel up! 😬😜

I'm on a couple of over 40s ttc groups but they are really quiet and nobody posts much which is why I came on this one. A lot more happening! Maybe it might be better if we all stay together.

Good effort @musiceverywhere ! I would have thought that tennis would be fine if pregnant, people do some pretty hardcore exercise, I was more into a bit of light yoga 😂

@Loladoodle a big ol box of cheapie opk and pregnancy tests arrived today so the money saving starts here!

I'm a bit confused as to what my hormones are doing (absolutely nothing so far as I can see) so will do an opk every day to see if anything is happening.

Can I ask what would be the difference on an over 40 thread? Just interested. I’m 38 and feel in the same boat as everyone else on here 🚣‍♀️

@musiceverywhere good work on the tennis! I’m impressed. I’m starting back running on Monday along with healthy diet- feeling too sorry for myself to start now with the arrival of af- have had to take lots of painkillers today as really sore tum 😫

Yes I'm definitely not going anywhere I like it here and don't think we need to split up and label people differently because of a few years.

I'm 38 too @Loladoodle - I'd love us to all stay together if everyone is happy. I'm still feeling very new but am appreciating this thread a lot!

So i survived day 2 at work. And had lots of newly pregnant ladies calling for my advise (diabetes specialist nurse) was all very emosh and happy to help but also very slightly hoping i can soon be as excited as them..
Very excited extension has windows and a door in to current house lots to think about and plan so hoping this month wont become so obsessed xx
