Hello everyone,

I am 37 going on 38 in December. TTC baby number 3. Came off the pill on the 1st may (2020). Previously I was on syanna press( depo).
I ovulated yesterday 😊
I only just finished my period on the 9th so didn't expect ovulation just yet. Also I am very new to using ovulation test. This is my second time using it. I am using the easy@home brand.
I have two boys ages 15 and 3years.❤️

Please join on this journey with me, so we can cheer each other up, share advice and information etc..

Good luck to all. FlowersSmile

Got my blood test results today, AMH is 16 (2.24), so we’re go for IVF!

lucieloos · 03/06/2020 22:50

Same here no one else knows we are ttc so this is a lovely little group to be part of. My 3 year old said to me today she would like one more baby and a girl this time. I thought I was getting to the point where I might be able to accept what will be will be but that hit me quite hard and would so love to be able to give her that. If I had the money would try again at ivf but we've spent so much and so would mean getting in a lot more debt. Would be so amazing if it happened naturally but trying not to think about it too much. We managed to dtd the day before and the day of ov and that's prob the best we can hope for each month 2-3 times around ov. AF should be due sometime next week but I'm trying not to calculate when in my head as I don't want to be doing all the symptom spotting again this month and then be crushed when af arrives as usual.

@Lynnysong so happy you made some good progress with the donor!

@Loladoodle hope you enjoyed your bath and wine and sorry to hear you think af is on the way.

Muda · 03/06/2020 23:03

MrsTtobe · 04/06/2020 06:02

@Muda im so sorry. Its so hard. It took me a good while to sort my head out after my miscarriage! ❤ x

Matilda19 · 04/06/2020 07:17

@Muda so sorry for your loss this is a great group xx

Muda · 04/06/2020 08:08

Thanks everyone- this month has been a rollercoaster of extreme emotions.
It’s nice to have you all here for support and share in each other’s journeys

Lynnysong · 04/06/2020 08:12

@Muda I'm so sorry for your loss, it's heartbreaking :( this is an amazing group and so supportive Flowers

Lynnysong · 04/06/2020 08:22

My temp went right up today so I'm pretty sure I did ovulate yesterday cause that's when I had the best ewcm (sorry tmi). If it stays up tomorrow I'll start the progesterone cream.

It was a better shift than last cycle so I'm really impressed with the soy. Although it shifted ovulation forward by a day.

I am wondering if I should leave it three days before the cream, to really confirm ovulation or would two be enough?

FridaKFangirl · 04/06/2020 08:28

Welcome @Muda, so sorry for your loss.

@Lynnysong can you tell me about the progesterone cream? I’ve not heard about it. Thanks

Loladoodle · 04/06/2020 09:21

@Muda so sorry 😔 it’s heartbreaking, took me such a long time to get back to myself after my mc. Be kind to yourself and you are most welcome back here for lots of support.

Loladoodle · 04/06/2020 09:25

@Lynnysong sorry I know nothing about progesterone at all. How much did you use last time? You felt it was maybe too much is that right?

Cd26 today. Awaiting af arrival, def on her wicked way. Throwing myself in to diet and exercise from Monday! Have ordered a juice cleanse to kickstart my new healthy eating plan. Something else to focus on other than ttc- I really need to do it 👍 anyone else planning to lose a few lbs? We could support eachother on here with it? As a positive distraction from the sanity of ttc 🤪

Lynnysong · 04/06/2020 09:30

@FridaKFangirl you need a decent level of progesterone for the luteal phase, for a good uterine lining and therefore implantation, as far as I know.
Since I'm older, I'm not taking any chances on getting a decent level and I'm topping it up slightly with the cream. It's just a question of when to start, there are different opinions about it.

When af is due you take a pregnancy test before stopping it. If you get a bfp you keep using the cream until the end of the first trimester. Just a tiny bit morning and evening :)

Lynnysong · 04/06/2020 09:37

@Loladoodle yeah I checked, lol tone it down a little :)

I'd be happy to do the fitness and diet thing with you. I'm walking more again and eating much more healthily :)

Muda · 04/06/2020 10:14

@Loladoodle yes! we are trying to be healthier and exercise And eat better. This week we’ve been getting up early and going for a walk before work- it’s much quieter and as much as I love my bed it’s been a lovely start to the day. I find the eating well the hardest bit! I know what needs to be done it’s just doing it and willpower.

FridaKFangirl · 04/06/2020 10:20

Thank you @lynnysong! So much to learn

Loladoodle · 04/06/2020 10:24

Great Lynnysong and Muda we can hopefully encourage one another and I think it was @Happyhappy37 I was talking yesterday about this with too 🏃🏼‍♀️ 💪 I’m determined as I have been a total slob most of lockdown- eating whatever I like and not exercising nearly enough! Feel like I’m finally in the right mindset. Will start Monday as have healthy food arriving then and I feel I need to be kind to myself a few days when af starts today/tomo

musiceverywhere · 04/06/2020 10:30

Think have finally got AF. 👍 (and more cramps 🙄) Earlier than expected according to OPK but that's fine by me. Will see if it's a heavy as before....
@Lynnysong ive been reading about progesterone supplementation in luteal phase, seems Drs aren't really very informed on it. I'm hoping my body will catch on soon that IUD gone and will get its act together and step up production- although I do think this may have been an issue for me pre-IUD 😕

@musiceverywhere I hope the tests go well good luck!

Brown spotting here, as per usual 1 day before full flow af. Tomorrow will be cd1 and cycle has lengthened by a day to 26 days due to taking b6. So..... here we go againnnnnn!! 😬

Lynnysong · 04/06/2020 12:55

@musiceverywhere I hope everything comes back ok. I'm glad they are checking for you. My doc said they'd do a progesterone test at cd20/21 to check that I'm ovulating but if temps confirm that, I'm not too bothered just now.

My cycles were always 28/29 days and I've never had any health problems so I'm going to try for a bit on lockdown and then talk to her after. I do need to get on a waiting list for a donor egg soon, might send out some emails at the weekend.

Yeah, they never seem very informed on woman stuff and the research is skant as far as I can tell. It's really annoying. And we have to come online and ask each other and do experiments on ourselves with things like progesterone cream and soy because we don't get much help or we don't have the money. But I'm glad I have access to supplements and stuff, gives me a bit of hope.

I just need a magic bean and I'd be so happy. I'm all bloated today lol. Progesterone is in the house. :P The two week wait has begun. Time to distract myself. fx

Lynnysong · 04/06/2020 12:56

@Loladoodle I wish af would go away and you get a bfp, she's a nuisance and a half. hugs for you x

lucieloos · 04/06/2020 12:59

@musiceverywhere hope the tests come back ok for you.

@Loladoodle ahh sorry for spotting. Good news that your cycles have lengthened though.

So I'm 4dpo and determined not to symptom spot this time around. Not that I have any to spot anyway.
