Hello everyone,

I am 37 going on 38 in December. TTC baby number 3. Came off the pill on the 1st may (2020). Previously I was on syanna press( depo).
I ovulated yesterday 😊
I only just finished my period on the 9th so didn't expect ovulation just yet. Also I am very new to using ovulation test. This is my second time using it. I am using the easy@home brand.
I have two boys ages 15 and 3years.❤️

Please join on this journey with me, so we can cheer each other up, share advice and information etc..

Good luck to all. FlowersSmile

Thank you Lynny that was really helpful

And hopefully coming off the pill will put an end to night sweats... Let's see tonight!!

Happyhappy37 · 16/05/2020 22:57

Morning all. Another day... how's everyone? @MrsTtobe I know exactly how you feel, I often feel the same way (I'm 42). I worry about being old early (ie 62ish when next baby is 20!) and whether I can cope with all the sleepless nights 🤪.

7dpo here and still not much to report apart from (sorry....) greenish yellow cm (like snot). Yuk. I've had it both when pregnant and not! Annoyingly.

MarieQueenofScots · 17/05/2020 08:50

Thank you so much for such a sweet welcome.

I’ll be keeping my toe in the water

Hope to see some BFPs soon.

Happyhappy37 · 17/05/2020 10:09

Good morning everyone. Hope you all had a good night's sleep. I am just getting out of bed.

What are your plans for today??

I will be doing some washing, cooking, possible a bit of ironing.
Not much house work to do today. I did my deep on Friday.
I hoping I can go out for a walk later with the boys.
Oh yeah and I need to plait my hair up ( that may not happen today though, my hair needs my undivided attention as it's so thick)
On my menu today is:- 😊
Red rice, fried chicken, steamed fish, fried plantains, vegetables and Yorkshire pudding ( love Yorkshire pudding 🤤)

Please feel free to send me your dinner picks later ( love loop at food pictures 🙈)

Ok my lovelies, am off to start my day.
Sending you all positive energy for the day 🤗🤗

Morning :) I'm going to study today and potter about. And get a good shop. I'll problem make a pasta and veg dish.

My temp went up a bit and my resting heart rate is still up too. But I realised that I sometimes have cycles that are 29 days. And I chickened out of testing lol, maybe in a day or two.

I hope everyone has a lovely day and I'll say hi again later.

Lynnysong · 17/05/2020 10:45

@Kangaroo77 it a bit tmi but I had that snot weird stretchy cm at 4+5 dpo. I did hear it might be a good sign maybe. I've never had it before. Yuck but yay if it's good.

Lynnysong · 17/05/2020 11:02

@Kangaroo77 found a thing that says that is reported slightly more with bfp. At certain dpo - 4-8 I think and then later like 14-16. Don't know if I've remembered right. Fx fx :)

Hiya quick question... Does anyone know if you have a ELCS with your first... Are you automatically put through for another ELCS? First time around I was high risk... Gestational diabetes and baby was breech. I hope I will be offered ELCS again this time around (if I do get pregnant!!).

Kangaroo77 · 17/05/2020 17:47

@Lynnysong oooo. Exciting. I had another lot of it this afternoon. Really noticeable bright colour 🙉. I'm 7dpo so 🤞🏻. What dpo are you? Did you the same cm this cycle? Sorry @Lemonlimeorange I don't know actually xxx

Chlo2701 · 17/05/2020 18:30

Hi ladies I've been watching this thread so thought I'd post now.
I'm 35, already have 2 children, 14 & 10.
I'm due AF around Sun 24th May.
Currently about 6dpo & this morning had a big clump of thick creamy cm when I went to the toilet, was very obvious. Had a little bit more earlier but not like this morning. Also been experiencing a few aches & twinges today in my stomach. Maybe it's the start of implantation or just signs AF is coming, who knows. Good luck everyone & I'll be checking this thread regularly hoping to see a lot of BFP's Grinxx

Kangaroo77 · 17/05/2020 18:47

@Chlo2701 sounds promising! Exciting.

BattenburgBerry · 17/05/2020 18:48

I tested this morning but BFN. Feel a bit crampy and had some slight spotting but no period yet, so will wait a week and see what happens. Not much else to do I suppose.

Kangaroo77 · 17/05/2020 18:53

@BattenburgBerry sorry to hear about your bfn, they're always a blow 😔. How many dpo are you? Fingers 🤞🏻 for you xx

Flutterby8 · 17/05/2020 19:28

I woke up this morning with an absolute banging migraine and cramping on my left side.
Wasnt sure whether to take pain killers or not but the migraine was that bad I had zero choice. I've felt pretty damn cranky all day but went out for a walk this afternoon to clear my head a bit which helped.
Still have cramping on and off which is weird. I'm about 4-5 DPO now.

@BattenburgBerry sorry to hear of your BFN, I've got my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻
@Lynnysong @Chlo2701 sounds quite promising for both of you! Good luck!

Happyhappy37 · 17/05/2020 19:37

@Lynnysong hope you had a good day. Soz you chickened out of testing, as long as you are happy, it's all good. Test when you feel ready.
Did you get to do your studies?

@Kangaroo77 baby dust to you. Hope it works in your favor 🙏. 🤰

@Lemonlimeorange I really don't know much about ELCS.
You said if you get pregnant again, now I'll correct that and say when you get pregnant again. Smile

@Chlo2701 welcome to our journey. We shall all be pregnant soon. Then we'll have a pregnant woman/ladies party 📷🎤
Keep talking to us we are here to encourage and support each other.

@BattenburgBerry soz about your BFN today, it may well be a BFP tomorrow. 😊

Hope you all had a good, I didn't manage to go out for a walk today. I feel asleep on the floor 🙈

Happyhappy37 · 17/05/2020 19:44

@Flutterby8 glad your feeling better now. Migraines are awful. I've suffered with them for years and years.
Fingers crossed for you 😊. So I ovulated Friday, does that mean I am 2dpo or 3 dpo?
Not too sure how to check it correctly, someone else up thread said, when the ovulation test is positive, ovulation actually occurs 12-36 hours after.

MrsTtobe · 17/05/2020 20:00

Hey everyone, sorry ive been quiet. Been busy doing a big clean and cooking dinner. Im exhausted and back aching now. 😔
AF is heavier than normal, which is to be expected when it's my first one after miscarriage. Excited to get it over and done with and get on with dtd.

Hope you're all ok x

Chlo2701 · 17/05/2020 20:08

Thanks @Happyhappy37 . Looking forward to watching all our journeys progress. You count the DPO day after ovulation so if you ovulated Friday, sat 1dpo so you're 2DPO today. I had to ask this question last month xx

Flutterby8 · 17/05/2020 20:12

@Happyhappy37 As far as I understand it, if you ovulated on Friday you will be 2 DPO today.
What method are you using to track your ovulation?
If you are using OPK's you need to get a positive result which is when the test line is as dark as or darker than the control line. You would then ovulate 12-36 hours after the peak reading. Although, you wouldnt know how long you have been at peak fertility for so 🤷🏼‍♀️
I was told as soon as the test lines on OPK's start getting darker to just DTD every day/other day.

I had a high reading, then a negative followed by a high and a peak over a 4 day period. Not sure on the negative, that was a curve ball!

Are you using any apps to track? If so how are you finding them?

Happyhappy37 · 17/05/2020 21:25

@MrsTtobe I understand. Some days we are busier than others. I still have a pile of clothes to fold up.
Your dinner looks delicious 😋.
@Chlo2701 thank you
@Flutterby8 I am only using the easy@home ovulation test, they have a app but I haven't downloaded. My test on Friday was positive and it was positive on Saturday 😁. I posted up thread.
