Hello everyone,

I am 37 going on 38 in December. TTC baby number 3. Came off the pill on the 1st may (2020). Previously I was on syanna press( depo).
I ovulated yesterday 😊
I only just finished my period on the 9th so didn't expect ovulation just yet. Also I am very new to using ovulation test. This is my second time using it. I am using the easy@home brand.
I have two boys ages 15 and 3years.❤️

Please join on this journey with me, so we can cheer each other up, share advice and information etc..

Good luck to all. FlowersSmile

Is anyone experiencing any kind of symptoms yet? I'm 7dpo & quite windy today, bit of back ache tonight, & had a few cramps on & off today & just generally feel tender in my womb area, very similar to my AF symptoms, but don't normally get them this early & im not due on until Sunday. I don't want to get my hopes up. I just hate this TWW wait😣

Kangaroo77 · 18/05/2020 20:01

@Chlo2701 yes I feel windy (painful) today and getting af type symptoms but not due on for at least another week. Sounds good for you if it's not the norm xxx

Happyhappy37 · 18/05/2020 20:23

@msanne welcome and sorry for your loss. Fingers crossed for you.
@Chlo2701 not symptom checking as I am only 3dpo. However, I've just been having dull cramp/achey feeling in my womb area, also really starving today, bit of ewcm, pretty sure they are all unrelated though.

Fingers crossed for all you ladies testing tomorrow 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾

Thanks @Happyhappy37 & @Kangaroo77 I'm just trying not to overthink anything but can't help it🙉 I know everyone's symptoms are different, it's the not knowing that drives me crazy xx

Happyhappy37 · 18/05/2020 20:44

@Chlo2701😂 I know the feeling. It's not easy at all

Hi @msanne recognise you from the ttc after miscarriage thread. Hope you're ok lovely xxx

Loladoodle · 18/05/2020 21:04

Hi everyone, apprehensively would like to join although I promised I would not obsess as I have done previously! But some mutual support is always good.

I am 38 and TTC my 3rd, but first with my new partner (He’s younger and has no children). Second cycle off the pill but didn’t really try as such last month so first cycle actually trying.

Feeling mixed emotions due to Covid situation and wondering am I mad TTC during a pandemic but on the other hand I feel time isn’t on my side and if I can I would love to be able to have a baby with my new partner as he is an awesome step father to my two children and I know he will be such a great dad! I have a grown up child and a 4 year old to my ex husband. Had difficulties conceiving due to ex H fertility issues but took a long time to conceive our now 4 year old with a miscarriage prior also which destroyed me for quite a while emotionally. So I have fear there about that happening again and fear about the pressure and time it can take or if it will even happen! But we have agreed to try and if it’s not to be we will accept that and move on happily with our lives. I just hope I can do that! Anyway that was long winded - it’s good to be here again with those in similar situations. Good luck and sorry for those who have miscarried it is just awful 😔

MrsTtobe · 18/05/2020 21:48

@Loladoodle welcome and good luck to you my lovely.
Thankyou, yes miscarriage really was awful. I don't think anything could have prepared me for that rug being pulled from under our feet.
And I think am I doing the right thing in trying straight away, a part of me feels so guilty to the baby I lost. 😔

musiceverywhere · 18/05/2020 21:54

Hi @Loladoodle I know what you mean about not wanting to obsess but then if we're going to obsess anyway at least we have people (other than our partners) to talk to about it. This seems like a friendly group and I like that it's similar ages. I felt really out of place on the threads with the twenty yr olds TTC #1. So many different issues and factors to think about further along in the journey.

Happyhappy37 · 18/05/2020 22:10

@Loladoodle welcome to our journey. Sending you positive energy. Hopefully you get a BFP sticky bean soon.
I totally agree with @musiceverywhere we can obsess together 😂

Hi, just joining your group, I'm 39 since january, have 2 kids, 13 and 9. I have endometriosis and we have decided to give 1 last try for number 3 before I turn 40, I'm not really expecting anything to happen, or maybe just trying not to get my hopes up due to my age and gynae history.

Matilda19 · 18/05/2020 23:42

Just joining. Have three kiddies but ttc 1st with fiance! Implant removed april 22nd then had visit from aunt flo the 26th tracked on app and hoping to get positive soon. Unsure on how quick can all happen been on implant a while now.

Muda · 19/05/2020 07:36

Morning ladies, what a crazy morning it’s been so far. I’m in total shock. I definitely didn’t think it would be me posting a BFP on here. I have only taken one test so am thinking I am going to need to take a couple more to believe it (I dropped this first one so am hoping it wouldn’t have affected the reading- my head it being silly, but I just can’t believe it!) All these past times I was symptom spotting like a mad woman and this time I’ve had zero, I can’t recall one symptom I’ve thought I’ve had.

Over 35+, TTC , join here.😊😊
Lynnysong · 19/05/2020 07:47

@Muda congratulations that's amazing xx

My temps were still up but I got a bfn. I'm confused they should have dropped, that means I'm going to be late? So got my hopes up with the higher temp :(

MrsTtobe · 19/05/2020 07:54

Congratulations @Muda the first bfp on this thread. So so happy for you. ❤

@Lynnysong try not to be too disheartened. Could you still be pg but ovulated later therefore it's not showing positive yet? X

Kangaroo77 · 19/05/2020 08:06

Hooray @Muda what lovely news to tube into first thing. 💓

Ahhh sorry @Lynnysong that's disappointing. High temps still really good sign though, hang in there.

How's everyone else today? Nothing much to report. Constipated but that's because of my dominoes pizza last night I think 😄. Otherwise no other symptoms at 9dpo here xxxx

Kangaroo77 · 19/05/2020 08:07

*tune into!

Flipping phone. 😆

Muda · 19/05/2020 08:20

@Lynnysong @MrsTtobe @Kangaroo77
Thank you so much! It’s such a strange feeling right now

@Lynnysong I’m keeping everything crossed for you X

@Kangaroo77 You’ve got me thinking about dominos now 🤤

Lynnysong · 19/05/2020 08:21

I am using progesterone cream, didn't think it could delay af. It said to take a pregnancy test before you stop taking it before your period.

Chlo2701 · 19/05/2020 08:43

@Muda congratulations!!! I'm not surprised you're in shock, even though you know there's always a chance, when you actually see the words pregnant, it all becomes very real! Grinxx

Happyhappy37 · 19/05/2020 08:50

@Jigglykween welcome to our journey and please remain positive. Fingers crossed 🤞🏾

@Matilda19 welcome good luck to you. Hope you get your BFP.

@Muda congratulations. What wonderful news. Beautiful start to the day. Amazing.🤰🤗🤗

@Lynnysong sorry you about BFN. It may be too early for a BFP. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏾

@Muda what fabulous news!!! Keeps up the positivity, wishing you all the best on this journey

Best of luck to all on this thread!!

Thanks @Happyhappy37 am currently 5dpo, have been in a lot of pain this month, cramping, wind and nausea, but often that is the endo, only 1st month ttc, took 9 months on baby 1 and 3 months on baby 2.
Dont really want to talk about it too much with my DH as I can already feel he may be getting his hopes up and I'm trying to tell him (and myself) if it's meant to be it will happen and if not we are already so lucky and grateful for the 2 wonderful kids we have.

Flutterby8 · 19/05/2020 09:52

Congratulations @Muda thats amazing news! You must be so happy.

Welcome to everyone else new and joining now 🙂

I'm now 6 DPO and have had a random temperature spike this am and more cramping which is weird for this time in my cycle 🤔
How is everyone else doing?

Loladoodle · 19/05/2020 10:03

@Muda huge congratulations that’s lovely news! How long were you ttc?

@MrsTtobe as difficult as mc is, try not to feel guilty ttc again. I was ttc for 3 years, miscarried then got pregnant 3 cycles later and he is now sitting beside me a happy, healthy 4 year old :)

Hope everyone else is doing ok, I’ve not had a chance to read all msgs just a quick scan as working from home and trying to parent at the same time- such fun!
