I never seem to quite fit into any of the existing posts so thought I’d create my own.

Feel free to join me.

I ‘think’ I’m due af around 17th May, but knowing me will start testing from around 11th onwards as I’m a total poas addict.

I say I think that’s when my af is due because in the past my cycles have been around 37 dats long. Ovulating around cd22.

But thus cycle I took soy isoflavones after researching about them, hearing they can bring ovulation forward, and amazingly I got my positive ovulation test on cd14! So if my luteal phase remains the same which I think it’s meant to, then I’d be due af 14 days after that (my luteal phase is 14 days long).

I’ve been known to test from 7dpo though so not holding out much hope of me staying strong 😂 that’s the trouble with having a ton of ic tests burning a hole in my drawer!

I haven't had a period since my chemical @ 4+5, but I'm basing my cycle on the full first day of bleeding (sorry if that's TMI). I've never used OPK's before, so I bought some IC's and used them - they were getting darker lines on Fri & Sat, then really strong & definite positive when I tested first thing Sunday morning. I was surprised to ovulate as soon as this, pretty much bang on 14 days from the Chemical. We managed to DTD on Saturday morning, so I'm hoping we are in with a chance.... If not, I'll definitely be using them again next cycle! I find that I get the EWCM in the 5 days before Ovulation then it stops on the day of. I also get lots of cramps on the day and I have been for the past 2 days afterwards - nothing to do with being upduffed - although I wish it was! I know my age is against me but I'm on Folic Acid and Pregnacare Plus, the Dr said they were fine to stay on as they're all very similar, the only side effect so far is strong yellow wee!!!

I'll be 4dpo tomorrow... counting down the days to POAS. I'd love to think I can wait until AF due, in reality, not a cat in hell's chance!!!!

@Blondiemum1980 I usually manage to wait until 9DPO but I'm feeling particularly impatient this month. I've heard that about pineapple it's a shame I don't like it.

Does anyone know if it's ok to take a bath during the TWW my backs been hurting today (I'm pretty sure it's unrelated) but the only thing that usually helps is a bath?

@BabyDust13 I think it’s fine so long as it isn’t too hot and doesn’t raise your body temperature too much

@Moominmiss haha glad it's not just me makes me feel better to have someone else who's as keen to poas! I love the whole thing about it, staring at the little screen and peering for ages to see if there's a line!

@DressingGownofDoom last month I used a magnifying glass to try and spot a line from 6dpo onwards 😂 oh the shame... I definitely won’t be doing that again.... (let’s face it, probably will)

How’s everyone doing today? I feel like time might as well be going backwards for how slow the days seem to be going 😂

I am 4, yes 4 dpo and today I peed on a stick 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ How ridiculous is that. I know all about implantation not even happening until 6dpo at the earliest, so I know that even 9dpo would be a bloody optimistic test date. But nope, here I am peeing on sticks at 4dpo.
I was doing an ovulation test, just to make sure my ovulation on cd15 was right, and I had my pot of wee just sat there, and my huge stash of pregnancy tests also just sat there....so clearly logic goes out the window and I poas, knowing full well I will see nothing. I didn’t even feel in the slightest bit disappointed with the bfn because I know it would literally be impossible so all I’ve done is literally waste a test.

I really will hold off on testing now though until I know there’s even the slightest chance of an actual result 😂🥴

@Moominmiss evening if it makes you feel any better I am 5/6 DPO today and also peed in a stick even though I know it's too early but I was just about to get in the bath and thought it would give me something to watch 😂

I'm trying to hold of until at least Sunday now but with cheapo tests in the drawer I'm a nightmare at the FRERs haven't arrived yet.

Hope you have all had a good day I've been working from home in between reading everyone's messages.

I forgot to mention I've also been checking my RHR on my Fitbit constantly but nothing has changed yet 😂

I have frers but after today’s testing incident I have asked my oh to hide those and leave me only my cheapies. Then if and only if I get a line on one of those that’s he’s also able to see, is he to let me have a frer!

I have promised myself I won’t test now til Sunday, and even then I know that’s just stupid and pointless. But telling myself I can’t test until next week just sounds too far away 😂

I can also join you in checking my rhr on Fitbit every hour. Don’t even know what I’m expecting to see 🤷🏼‍♀️ From what I’ve read nothing will change until after implantation anyway. And I don’t know how much it’s meant to go up and stay up by. My rhr seems to be around 67-70bpm. So would say 72 be classed as a rise or does it rise by more? I think I need to do more research lol.

I am so glad I’m not alone in my insanity!

The most insane part is sometimes I use the Tesco freedom strip tests because I know they give out faint lines sometimes even when bfn and I like the false hope

i've been looking through this whole thread today! this is my 7th cycle of trying which i know isn't very long at all, but every BFN i get is disheartening now. Praying for everyone here we all get out BFP's together❤️

Last working day for me until Wednesday which is a bonus but I'm going to have to find other ways to distract myself

In other news I was so hungry yesterday I ate anything that pretty much was stuck down 😂

I haven't got any vibes good or bad for this month so the waiting game continues

@BabyDust13 🤞🏻 That your rhr going up is a good sign. There have been loads of bfp’s on the Fitbit thread from women that all had the same happen to them.

My rhr is sitting at 69 and not shifting for now. Waiting to see if I’ll get a dip for implantation and then a rise so will see.

But I did have it slightly yesterday and agsin this morning, a really blocked/stuffy nose with blood (sorry if tmi).

Basically with all my other pregnancies that’s been my very first early, way before af is due symptom. I’d wake in the morning with a blocked nose, and when clearing it it would be snot mixed with blood, and bits of dried blood. It was only with my second pregnancy I made the connection though, and then googled it, to then find it can be a symptom.

But I’m also not going to read anything into it (who am I kidding 🥴) because I know I won’t have even implanted yet so unlikely to be anything related. Although I did read some stuff online that said how basically from the moment the egg is fertilised, not just implanted, that the blood flow in your body increases and that’s what can cause nosebleeds/blood in the nose, bleeding gums etc.

I’m not expecting miracles but I can’t help but hope!

@Moominmiss I read about that as well so let's keep our fingers crossed that it's a good sign 🤞🏼
